Hoping to get a nice size drop for 3898 either this week or next week but I'm starting to doubt that we will get two 3898 drops before the price increases in April.

Yep lol. I'm only a couple of minutes away and I think it may be too far

I'm 3.5 minutes out and I don't expect to get one before June unless hybrids start dropping more than once a month. Jacob said there will be another 3898 shipment around the end of this month. Those who are less than a minute away in the queue will probably get in just in time. Everyone else is ******.

I’m just over a minute out in the queue. If we get another big drop like the last one then I might get a card in the upcoming drop but I’m not getting my hopes up

It's always said that. Your notifies should be below that.

Currently, waiting in queue for my turn to come up for RTX3080 since Sept/Oct 2020, I went ahead and started the "step-up" process for my RTX 3070, during the process of the Step-Up, the price of the RTX 3080 is stating $879.99, shouldn't it be $807.99 ( the price before April 16 increase, since I been in the queue since Sept/Oct)?

6700 XT doesn't look awful for rasterization workloads. Guess we will see if there is any availability.

Same here. Maybe because we won't get one months from now which is after the deadline. There's a step up queue thread and it's moving slower than notifications.

The queue and the step up program is two different things also.

I hate being the wet blanket , but you guys realize EVGA has zero incentive to move these ques much before middle of next month ?
THey are either breaking even or losing money on each sale here because of the price lock they offered until Mid April .... for the signups.

Mid April  is when full price goes into effect no matter what.... just like all the other manufacturers who jacked their prices up  $250 - 300 +  more than a month ago..

We can only wait and see what happens. There is limited supply everywhere so I doubt they even have much to send to the queues.

I think most people already know this, it's mostly the newer people who found this forum/thread and pop in after they just joined the queue wondering how soon they'll get their email. Then their world comes crashing down when they realize probably next year if they're lucky.

I can only speak for myself but I'm perfectly okay if EVGA just hiked up their prices now if it meant like 10x more emails going out and more frequently. I wouldn't be surprised though if the April 16 deadline comes and we start seeing significantly more emails going out though.

They also had zero incentive to offer grandfathered pricing when every other AIB did raised prices immediately.  I do not buy the "give the customers a fake price break to win their favor, then do not fulfill any queues until after...  MUHWAHAHA".  It is possible, but as I said before, this is next-level evil.

Sit on stock that's selling like hotcakes for any inflated price OR Implement a fake queue and fake grandfathered prices...

Gonna have to agree with Cpt.  They gain absolutely nothing by holding back cards...

Also, if that extra $$ was any incentive for EVGA, they would never have grandfathered people in the queue in the first place and just raised the price.

Demand is so high that increasing the price wouldn't make a bit of difference in how many they sold.

So, rather than just raising the price now (like everyone else did and Asus took the first hit there) and selling cards to people, the master plan is to sit on cards while potential customers go elsewhere so they can sell them for an extra hundred bucks later?

EVGA is getting retail pricing for cards in the queue.  Without tacking on the price increase, they're probably getting wholesale pricing from the queue at worst.  They're absolutely not "breaking even" or "losing money" on it.  I can also guarantee you that no video card manufacturer only added the bare minimum to cover the extra costs in this market -- they all have some fluff added in there to take advantage of the market so there's even less reason to think that they're getting hurt by the current pre-increase queue.

Days I thing pretty accurate, time is not - I have queue open time only for 3060 - it was 9:00.

The numbers of days are wrong for the hybrids.
Not sure any of that is accurate.

Calculate by yourself!
enewt     - The Hybrids launched on 11/13. Same with the Hydro Coppers, although the FTW3 HCs didn't have their first drop until last week. The first tranche of the XC3 HCs also registered on 11/13 as well, but EVGA has yet to release a unit.
It may be inaccurate if I got inaccurate launch date.

There were two queues for hybrids and now HC soon since they had them open for a short time only before closing and subsequently reopening

Well for those who waited since launch, getting in this queue within few mins should be your life's goal when it opens up. Even if you don't have a open loop, you can probably trade for an air-cooled card easily with it.
