Notify someone at EVGA, they should be easy to track being how limited the amount of people on the the HC queue is
Yeh EVGA isn't going to do anything. They don't care what the customer does with their product after they bought it. It's just disgusting as Enewt said that ofc there's people who buy it and literally marks it up double the price. What's even more disgusting is how long people have waited for this specific card.
Most likely not from the queue, but out the back door...

So it looks like no 3060 Ti or 3080 drops today? Just wondering if I missed it.
I'm only about 5 minutes away for both the 3663 and the 3898. Really wanting to grab one of each. The 3080 will be MINE and the 3060 Ti is planned for the nephew.
How do you see how much time away you are?

Yeah.
Wow, that is messed up. Hopefully more of these cards can get into the hands of those who will actually use them rather than scalpers.
Ugh, scalpers are the worst.
I'm going to try to be a bit more positive in life. Maybe, these two people had every intention of using these cards for fun and/or work but something happened like a medical issue and now they need some quick cash. You never know what circumstances people have and experience. Making a change to myself and no longer assuming the worst, probably stupid, but there it is.

The fact that the guy in Ohio has to wait until 3/10 means he bought it today and had it shipped next day air. The other guy in California probably just went and picked it up directly from EVGA. Unless you're implying someone up top in EVGA just gave them out to their friends lol.

Some advice needed.
My new rig is coming along. I mounted the Gigabyte X570 MB iinto the case and mounted the Noctua cooler onto the MB. I was starting to plug in cables when I had to call it quits for the evening.
QUESTION:
A friend loaned me a 1050 TI he is no longer using. Installing it in the uppermost slot of the MB puts the upper side card within 1/2" of the cooler. I'm not sure I'd be able to reach under the card from below to release the catch on the slot when it comes time to replace the 1050 TI with an up to date card--assuming I ever get one. Will releasing the 1050 TI be a real problem? It appears that it would require pushing the release from just the bottom with very little clearance to get my finger in.
If it is going to be a problem, how much performance would I lose by installing the 1050 TI card in the next slot below--where, presumably, the release catches will be easier to reach? (I'm not terribly worried about installing the new card in the upper slot because I rarely replace a GPU card before I build a new computer 4 to 5 years later.)
Since some of you on this board seem to change GPU cards frequently, I am confident there are people here with lots of experience in removing GPU cards.
As long as they're both pci x16 I wouldn't expect there to be a loss, it would still use all 16 pci lanes
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, my MB (Gigabyte Aorus Master) only has one x16 slot, one X16-sized slot that runs at X8, one X16-sized slot that runs at X4, and one tiny X1 slot. So, the question is whether the 1050 TI will run in the X16 sized X8 slot and, if so, with how much performance penalty. I'm guessing it will run okay because the manual says that if 2 cards are installed, both run at X8 speed since the second slot shares resources with the first--and there would be no point in running 2 cards in SLI if they'd only run at half the speed one of them would run at.

Right. They didn’t choose to pass or even sell it for a small profit. They immediately doubled the price. So fair enough if they have some honest reason why they desperately need to sell it for a profit, but no matter the reason, it’s still scalping. I’m not trying to get into an “ends justify the means” discussion, even if they needed that 2k profit to pay for a life changing surgery, it’s still scalping. Eric99

Will most likely pay off my new 3657 by end of April so only paying interest on first month basically 🙃

That is true to my knowledge. The KPE is exclusive only to EVGA and only to elite members. The HC is also only available at EVGA unless you count marketplace sellers who most likely just bought from EVGA to sell through other channels like Amazon.

Kinda hoping for the 3751 or 3767 the most, though. Or a FE, but that's a probably a pipe dream with Mario in the cat suit.
Also, this'll be my first computer build ever, and I'm excited and a little nervous as I save up for the GPU and CPU (last of the parts I need to buy, besides windows 10). Didn't want to do a water cooled build because I'm new to it and want to have the confidence of doing everything with an air cooled before even touching an AIO.

the notify button was literally only live for a couple minutes before they took it down....if you didn't get on the queue on the launch day within that 2 minute period, then you couldn't get on it

How did people get on the notify list for the Hydro Copper cards? I don't see a notify button on them.
They went live for a brief period of time at the end of last year. I believe November? They won’t be relighting the buttons until they are able to finish out the queue that already exists for them. If you go back a few pages, I believe it was just discussed earlier today:)

Wow, that is messed up. Hopefully more of these cards can get into the hands of those who will actually use them rather than scalpers.
Ugh, scalpers are the worst.
I'm going to try to be a bit more positive in life. Maybe, these two people had every intention of using these cards for fun and/or work but something happened like a medical issue and now they need some quick cash. You never know what circumstances people have and experience. Making a change to myself and no longer assuming the worst, probably stupid, but there it is.
Agree. If they lost their job and need to put food on the table, can not really be upset at them. If someone is willing to pay you double what you paid for something, I can see that hard to pass up. I am getting rid of a large amount of old RPG books and Board games, getting ready for a move. Offering friends first shot at stuff at retail or less prices. What is left is going to EBAY and BGG. Guess that makes me a scalper.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but could you just put a block on a ftw3, say from ekwb, and flash an HC bios?

Kinda hoping for the 3751 or 3767 the most, though. Or a FE, but that's a probably a pipe dream with Mario in the cat suit.
Also, this'll be my first computer build ever, and I'm excited and a little nervous as I save up for the GPU and CPU (last of the parts I need to buy, besides windows 10). Didn't want to do a water cooled build because I'm new to it and want to have the confidence of doing everything with an air cooled before even touching an AIO.
AIOs are SUPER easy and you usually don’t have to worry about them at all (assuming you get a decent quality AIO). As for a custom water loop, not a bad decision to wait for more building experience/finding an experienced friend to do it. Just make sure you test for leaks outside of your case BEFORE you put all of the expensive electronics together inside! 😅
