Just got a quick question. When I get my turn, will I be able to have it shipped to a freight forwarder in Miami so that it could be then sent to Aruba?
 
And if that's not possible, could I have it sent to my boyfriend in California and then he could send it to me here?
 
I'm really desperate for one, but don't want to be paying 2 - 3 times the MSRP to get one and helping scalpers as well :( 

EVGA doesn't ship to forwarders and they only accept US credit cards. I wouldn't risk using the forwarder as a shipping address, your order might get cancelled.

Best to ship it to your boyfriend then have him ship it to the forwarder if you really wanted to go that route.

Yeah I believe that might be the only reasonable option for me unless the new 3060 12gb ones also become available on Amazon on February 25th, haha. And if I can make it to snatch one before they're also gone. Ahh what a bad time to be building a PC.

Can't hurt to go for everything! You can also try your luck at the bi-monthly Best Buy restocks. It's usually every other Tuesday.

Had a kid thing with my daughter so was offline for an hour or so.

How dare you spend time with family when all of us are waiting with baited breath for cards that never come? 🤪

I hope the kid thing was at least enjoyable!

 
I had to drop off my daughter's valentine's day cards for her class at her school.  She is remote learning as we are being extra careful.  Her school just started up two days per week per class last week...and this week, two students have already tested positive for covid.  So, short story long...errand.  not fun.  but, in my opinion, necessary.  Be safe out there.

EVGA accepts North American-based payment methods.  But I would use your boyfriend.  It appears that EVGA keeps a list of known freight forwarders and doesn't ship to them.  Good luck!

I'm at 9:04:38 and haven't seen anything.  So if it moved, it didn't move much.

Remember that they sent out too many emails earlier this week. Depending on what they meant by "too many", the queue might not move at all.

Well, another thing to keep in mind is that the 3080 supply has all but dried up everywhere, from what I have seen.  The hybrid versions that EVGA has been releasing may have in the production line for a while.  The recent trends certainly seem to be 3070 and 3090-centric.  Even NewEgg has only been featuring mostly 3070s.  I wonder if there is a significant issue with 3080 production?  

3898 & 3897 have similiar parts. their going back and forth with these those GPU.

Yep, they are basically the same card. The only difference is the cooling hardware. More 3898's dropping probably means fewer 3897's, especially since the hybrids are only being sold through EVGA.

my guess their taking turns. hopefully 3897 drops tomorrow...if not, next week.

RIIIIIIP  I was busy today with helping someone install a new monitor on an arm & missed out on signing up for Newegg Shuffle today... and of course, today's the day they offered me the processor someone wants me to acquire.  Figures.
