Dabadger84 RIIIIIIP I was busy today with helping someone install a new monitor on an arm & missed out on signing up for Newegg Shuffle today... and of course, today's the day they offered me the processor someone wants me to acquire. Figures. Good luck on the drops & congrats to those that got cards today.
I actually saw that cpu on there and just assumed you were in it from your previous posts. I would have considered PMing you about it lol.
It's no biggie, it's not for me it's for someone else & they're fine with waiting. 5900X specifically. There was also an eVGA 3070 FTW3 in the mix, have someone locally that would buy that in a heartbeat if I can acquire one, 3080-3090 is out of his price range but 3070 is just right. But I missed out. Oh well, maybe tomorrow ^_^ Good luck to everyone that did enter though! Also, whoever used my Associate's Code to buy their Kingpin today, I greatly appreciate it, one more step towards my eVGA Z590 Dark once they release.
I am in the same boat, waiting until I am ready to purchase the 5900x. Hopefully come March I can start sourcing parts for my build. It would be even better if I could also get one of the 3080 FTW cards on my list below.
5900x is . thats what i have right now. lucky i was about to get one.

cameronrambo I'm still a like 4 mins out on the 3898 so I would love to see some good movement there. I reluctantly signed up for the 3070 Newegg shuffle, cuz my 1080 feels like it's on its last leg. kinda hoping I don't have to settle for a 3070 over a 3080...
Im still on a 1080 too. Lol. 165 degrees for hours a day since 2016.
Still waiting on a 3898. At 9:10:47, and still waiting daily. And bro, I feel that. Been running a 1060 6GB since early 2018, and it's starting to struggle with most games that I play (mainly COD). I just wanna finally experience that sweet sweet ray tracing in 2K...

No 3898's, huh? I guess they must have overshot the time stamps on Tuesday by a lot since today ended up being the clean up from that mess. Did anyone with a time stamp after 9:04:00 purchase and have their credit card go through?

I've gotten a few 3898 reports today. It will be in the evening summary, but to sign-post it for you...don't expect a lot of movement (my "rough justice" calculation from Tuesday was pretty on the nose). I have a work call at 5 pm and then will try to get the summary out as soon after that call as possible...likely 6:30 pm PT or so.

Well, that's good. At least the queue moved forward, even if it's only a few seconds. I was getting concerned there for moment that they WAY overshot the time stamps and Tuesday's "huge" drop was anything but. Now lets just hope that we get another drop of 3898's before March.

maar012 Dabadger i am checking in here. i got my 3898 3080 hybrid yesterday and installed it with a push-pull setup as the intake. with 2 noctua 3k rpm fans pushing and the stock fans on the rad pulling, my cpu is also AIO with one 2k rpm fan running max, along with my other exhaust fan (1500rpm) running max 24/7, during gaming, with settings maxed i reach MAYBE 47°C on the gpu and 61° max on the cpu, i haven’t adjusted the fan curves of anything via speedfan or precision. I was going to play with that tonight to see just how chilly i can have it running. i would definitely prefer an exhaust for my radiator, but given the space, it’s all i got. everything went together well and huge props to evga for making such a BA card. i’m going to flip the the “OC” switch and work from there tonight. thanks for the knowledge in this thread btw, very helpful. the radiator hose is PERFECT length.
I mean if it's all you can do it's all you can do in terms of arrangement. You could always try reversing the fans on both, see if running the CPU as intake & GPU as exhaust helps with temps or not. It really depends on where your case is & what kind of airflow it has too, if it's in a cabinet or something like that, or has stuff on top of it, that really changes things a lot in some instances. What I would be concerned about with a setup like that is what your other internal temps are like I.E. your motherboard VRMs, and any M.2 drives you have, as well as your RAM temperatures on the system RAM. As long as none of that is getting in to the "too hot" range, it's all good. I just highly prefer & recommend the GPU radiator as exhaust whenever possible because of the insane levels of heat that thing puts off when the GPU is being flogged by games. Experimenting with airflow in a new build is always highly recommended, finding what works best in your system - what works for some won't work for others and so on. Definitely wanna see your system pics & see how you've got things setup, sounds very interesting. Enjoy it!

Ask and ye shall receive.... If only securing a gpu costing hundreds or tens of hundreds of dollars were so simple... best of luck in your hunt! To your second question, the 3070 Gaming Blacks drops from time to time...the 3080 less so...and the 3090, not so much. The 3060 Gamings have dropped as well.

Esteemed Señor enewt, I don't want to get too excited, but it looks like I'm within two hours on one of the 3060ti, and within less than one hour on the other! Is my excitement premature? I know that retailers received a TON of 3060ti stock on that first push on launch day. I still want a 3080 more than anything for my main rig, but the 3060ti's will go into other builds in my home, so they will get some serious use! (have three teenagers living at home)

Whoa, how does one go about doing that? WAIT! NEVERMIND! I checked and it says I'm "elite" now and can get the goodies, including the half-price keyboard! The Z15 is half the price I paid for this Asus keyboard too! Now, I am happy for some advice here. I have one gripe about my Asus Strix ROG Flare keyboard, and ONLY one: It's just a little too clickly/loudy for my taste! The reason I went for the model I have is because I thought the reds would be quiet enough (to be fair, they're quieter than my kids mechanical keyboards that have blues) and I wanted the volume roller. I LOVE volume rollers, (just one of the many things that Logitech has spoiled me with over the years, like infinity scrolling) so I got the Asus keyboard with reds instead of the one with browns because the KB with browns has no volume roller. However, this keyboard is noticeably louder than my RomerG keys on my Logitech I have at home on my main build. Will the EVGA bronze keys be more like browns and romer G? And will I miss that Volume roller more than I would miss the $65 of savings? Oh ... wait, WHAT? The EVGA has a volume roller too? Ok peeps. How loud and clicky are the bronze switches? Any more thoughts on the EVGA Z20? Zephmeister? What about the Z15? Either is much cheaper than the Asus I bought, and I can still return it for being too noisy!

So I spun up Diablo 3 for a bit, it's pretty nice. I'm still getting used to the macro keys to the left side as I am coming from a pretty standard layout keyboard. Your code saved me $4.40 FYI :) That on top of the Elite member discount made it a no brainer for me! Also the TOF sensor on the front is pretty neat, the keyboard lights basically "sleep" when it doesn't detect you in front of it (I'd say like within 2-3 feet) and the a row of white lights come on starting from the bottom as you gradually get closer to it, it fills up more with white lights until it goes back into regular light mode. My Mac is setup to not ever sleep, so I haven't noticed how it affects Macs in this regard. The volume wheel works normally. Pressing Play brings up Apple Music :( (I'm not sure if I can reprogram the Mac to open Spotify instead). But overall, I'm liking the keyboard a lot. Of course, this is just day 1 use so, we'll see how it stands the test of time. The 3 year warranty instills confidence though. I'm waiting for the wireless mouse to come out. Got on the auto notify list for that. SirKronan Whoa, how does one go about doing that? WAIT!
So I was tempted to get the Clicky version of the Z20 but my wife has already expressed disdain for the noise I make as we do share an office. I wisely opted for the Linear (Dark Grey) switches. My wife approves of the noise level. It certainly feels a little mushier than what I was previously using (Cherry MX Browns on a Das Keyboard) but overall the keyboard feels great. And I do appreciate the pad to save my wrists. I have not tried the Z15 although I was tempted just by the fact that they have swappable key switches. But I do really enjoy the aesthetic of the Z20.

SirKronan Esteemed Señor enewt, I don't want to get too excited, but it looks like I'm within two hours on one of the 3060ti, and within less than one hour on the other! Is my excitement premature? I know that retailers received a TON of 3060ti stock on that first push on launch day. I still want a 3080 more than anything for my main rig, but the 3060ti's will go into other builds in my home, so they will get some serious use! (have three teenagers living at home)
It depends on which 3060tis...each will have a different cadence. If you are still more than an hour away, I think you a wait yet ahead of you. That said, without knowing your times for specific cards, I would imagine that the 3060 Ti FTW3 Gaming will reach you first...as it was the unanticipated sku and is moving faster through the timeline. Best of luck!

Thanks for the expanded post; very interesting. I have not previously considered EVGA for keyboards. I appreciate the review; thanks for sharing it!

Getting the K100 in tomorrow... very much looking forward to it, hopefully it doesn't disappoint. I'm used to Cherry MX Browns like Zeph, so going to the "Cherry MX Speed RGB Silver Keyswitches" hopefully won't suck. Sounds like the Z20 is pretty swanky thus far!
