Thehalfdemon Twitter says it's another big drop, I don't know what that means... If we could get a few more ours into 9/17 that would be awesome lol
Got the source tweet?
EVGA_JacobF twitter acount
I'm on his Twitter, have been all day. This is all I've seen about a big drop... "@EVGA_JacobF This week will be another larger drop." Which tells nothing.

I mean last week he did say that there would be a bunch of XC3 all this week, then this week it was next week but maybe Friday and now it’s none this week and” looks like” next week. I hope when they have stock it’s a decent amount. XC3 ULTRA that is.

Sorry, large thread. Quick question, if I buy the card using my place in the notification process for a friend, can he register it first using my receipt and still use the step up program?

I got an email from Amazon at like 2:30 AM EST on Sunday night about the 3080 ftw3 ultra being back in stock. I was of course asleep at the time and by the time I saw the email 5 hours later they were sold out again. Really hoping I don't get my notification email from EVGA in the middle of the night....

I was feeling really good about my 9/19 notification date but if they don't ramp up supply drastically my plan of having this card before CP2077 comes out is looking grim.

Is there somewhere you can check on EVGA.com if your card is available? I mean, let’s say hypothetically support@evga.com is whitelisted in my email client, but for some reason the email gets lost in cyberspace...I just want to log in to EVGA everyday, and check if my card is waiting for me.

I am thinking that if we all can be a little bit patient, things will start moving forward with the notifications. I’m sure EVGA and other manufacturers are doing their best to ramp up production as it seems like they will be able to sell as many of these 30 series cards as they can produce, and of course the more they sell, the more profitable it will be for them. I don’t see any reason to artificially constrain supply to try and build demand as interest in these cards is already unbelievably high. As soon as more supply becomes available, each new sale will move a customer out of the demand pool helping to balance supply and demand. In addition, each sale to someone in this queue will probably result in several to many notifications being cancelled, moving everyone left in those queues closer to the top. I will get the first card I get a notification for, and then I will be cancelling 4 other notifications. As more people in the queue do something similar, things should start to accelerate. Thanks to the EVGA team for adding the cancel notify button, that should help speed things up.
Maybe wishful thinking, but trying to stay positive!

After 2 weeks they're up to 9/17 0725am for the FTW3 Ultra. So do with that what you will.

If they (EVGA) would be a little more transparent, it'd be easier to be patient.

None of anything but FTW3 3080s, really. We'll see how this big drop looks whenever it happens, I guess. Maybe we'll move forward a few hours instead of a few minutes this time (lol let me dream).

That's the worst launch I ever witnessed and I guess everybody here share the same opinion. Everybody is losing, except scalpers. Every end of week I try to delude myself thinking that next week will be better. But every monday/tuesday all I see is out of stock everywhere despite sometimes we listen/read that production is ramping. Well, if that's true, I guess the boats are sinking and planes are crashing with all cards already produced inside. Meanwhile nobody is strong enough to go out loud and tell us what da hell is going on and shout out numbers like: "today we will ship 50 cards. We expect a shipment of 100 sometime next week for XYZ card". That's awful... paper launch + lack of clear communication. Sorry, just venting here. Good luck lads!

Anyone know if I'm signed up for all of the 3090 series and some 3080 will I get to buy all of the ones I'm signed up for? We have a few machines here and we need the cards but I would rather get a 3090 first if I'm going to be locked out of buying a 3090 series if I get a 3080 first.
