enewt Jacob F just said in Twitter that the issue should be resolved. Can you try to purchase again now?
still not working, zero quantity with no options to change
I would call them now (1.888.881.EVGA (3842)) if you can spare the time.
according to person on phone, they ran out of stock hours ago and some emails were not supposed to go out. woooo.
#Bruh, I hope they're at least going to add people that got shafted back in to the queue at the front of the line, that's not cool at all. Wondering how that would even happen when the queue system, other than the initial "on/off" switch of turning it on at 9A & off at 5P Pacific is supposed to be mostly automated. Maybe someone put in a wrong digit for how many cards they had in stock to put up in the queue, only thing I can think of. Human error happens, I'm sure they'll get folks taken care of.

Depressing, I know I'm not the one getting shafted by the notification glitch. But after trying to get a BB drop and failing at last stage of checkout, I was at least slightly relived to see the hybrid queue move 40+s on a "some day, that didn't seem like it was going to get many by what jacob said yesterday. Situation sucks, I'm kinda salty at evga too, why did they add a hybrid Queue when they would have no stock for 4 week, then very little afterwards. I missed out on trying to cop some of the large best buy drops at the first of the year thinking the evga queue would move slightly quicker (thought I'd have my chance around march-april). I also was ready to enter the queue right at 9 and waited till 9:15 trying to get the page to load to no avail as the site was down, at least for me . I didn't get a chance to try again until 9:43 even though I was ready way before.

Well today we had some decent drops and, in the case of the 3898, apparently too good of a drop (I never thought I would type those words in this context). Let me explain: With respect to the 3898 (and possibly other skus (the 3755 progress looks odd too)...but I only have confirmation on the 3898), too many emails went out today...EVGA did not have enough inventory to satisfy all of the "invite to purchase" emails that were distributed for the 3898 today. As a result, folks who responded quickly to the email were able to purchase (even if their registration timestamp was a few seconds later than those who also received an invite to purchase email, but did not attempt to purchase the card until a few hours later). Hopefully this is an isolated issue and, given that we have not seen this problem before, I am willing to give EVGA the benefit of the doubt on this one. However, what this means is that the 3898 summary below will show a timestamp that may be beyond the actual head of the queue (likely not more than by a tens of seconds). My best guestimate -- and it is just that -- a guestimate -- is that the true head of the queue is around 9:04:30 or so (give or take the handful of folks with registration timestamps before and after that time that were able to purchase (after 9:04:30) or were not able to purchase (before 9:04:30) likely offsetting each other). Not that EVGA listens to any one consumer, but in my opinion getting this cleared up should be a top priority for them. Edit: I am revising the head of the queue for my summary back to 9:04:27 and will start from there for gauging the next drop's movement. As of 6:00 pm PT Tuesday evening, February 9, this is the status of the North American queues ( bolded font represents movement from the morning of Tuesday, February 9 ( hint: there was none); italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement from the prior report): Card SKU Auto-Notify Timestamp / (Change from Previous Summary) Ultra3090 FTW3 Ultra 3987 10/12/2020 16 :23:29 3090 XC3 Ultra 3975 10/05/2020 20:52:00 3080 FTW3 Ultra 3897 09/19/2020 06:00:03 3080 XC3 Ultra 3885 09/18/2020 08:26:34 3070 FTW3 Ultra 3767 10/29/2020 23 :19:33 3070 XC3 Ultra 3755 11/04/2020 12:04:18 (41:11:57) 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3667 12/01/2020 07:08:53 Gaming3090 FTW3 Gaming 3985 09/24/2020 16:12:06 3090 XC3 Gaming 3973 09/24/2020 00:00:00 3080 FTW3 Gaming 3895 09/16/2020 00:00:00 3080 XC3 Gaming 3883 09/16/2020 11:01:20 3070 XC3 Gaming 3753 10/29/2020 00:00:00 3060 Ti FTW3 Gaming 3665 12/08/2020 13:57:16 3060 Ti XC3 Gaming 3663 12/01/2020 07:16:00 Black3090 XC3 Black 3971 09/24/2020 00:00:00 3080 XC3 Black 3881 09/16/2020 15:14:00 3070 XC3 Black 3751 10/29/2020 06:15:13 (00:01:13) Hybrid 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid 3988 12/10/2020 09:38:27 (00:08:57) 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid 3978 12/08/2020 14:19:07 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid 3898 12/16/2020 09:04:27 (00:00:50) ** 3080 XC3 Ultra Hybrid 3888 12/10/2020 09:08:56 Hydro Copper (Delayed)3090 FTW 3 Ultra HC 3989 11/13/2020 00:00:00 3090 XC3 Ultra HC 3979 11/13/2020 00:00:00 3080 FTW3 Ultra HC 3899 11/13/2020 00:00:00 3080 XC3 Ultra HC 3889 11/13/2020 00:00:00 K|NGP|N (Queue sheet) 3998 12/16/2020 09:51:04 ** See note above the table regarding too many "invite to purchase" emails distributed today for, at least, the 3898. I think in the case of the Hybrids, the queue will jump forward pretty quickly once it gets past the initial congestion of 9-9:30 (especially 9-9:15 when the site wouldn't load for some people etc), so getting from where it is now to 10AM might be quicker than we expect. Hopefully we get bigger drops to move those queues on forward soon enough, but with all the supply crapoli going on, I think we may be looking at end of April before things get "better".

Thanks. I will pull it back. Currently at the dinner table with the family...probably 45 minutes or so and then will update.

Probably a good thing with the fact that some late 9:04/early 9:05 people were not allowed to purchase due to the too many emails going out for supply bit.

I got a little impatient and asked on Twitter. I did not want to ask anything too specific which I attribute to getting a response. Also, did not want to put him on the spot. But, he did confirm that between now and the cut-off date. We should see some 3080 XC3's none hybrids. I doubt I will get one, but at least some people will.

That's great news. I hope that my 3885 que spot is close enough to get one before the cut-off. Just a little over 20 hours away on that one.

Am I mistaken, or is this the second time in recent days that 3667 was listed but didn't drop? I suppose things don't always go to plan, though...

Just because we didn't have any reports doesn't mean it didn't drop, though, keep in mind ours is but a share of the actual notifications going out vs what's being posted about. It could be straggler carry overs too, meaning only a few cards getting bounced to the next day over and over again as some people wait on Hybrids or other cards instead - Jacob literally has no reason to fib about what cards are & aren't dropping. It is very odd that we've seen SKUs listed more than once & gotten no info about people receiving notifs, but, it is what it is.

Definitely not the first time. It's been a while since 3667 moved despite being listed.

I'm new here so I'm just curious. As an example I've put myself on the list for 08G-P5-3665-KR on January 8th 2021 and it's currently at December 8th 2020. Since, as far as I can see, line moves a few minutes(or even none at all) a day. Does that mean that it will be years before it gets from December to January at current pace? Is there even a point to stay on the list if you've signed up as late as 2021?

wroom I'm new here so I'm just curious. As an example I've put myself on the list for 08G-P5-3665-KR on January 8th 2021 and it's currently at December 8th 2020. Stay on the list. Look elsewhere. I'm not giving up on EVGA, but I'm not wearing the black armband forever.

So I missed my purchase window by less than an hour. What can I do? Should I just reply to the email they sent?

That card is currently in the middle of its launch congestion (lots of registrations in a short amount of time). Once it gets past that first 12 to 24 hours, the speed of progression through the timeline picks up materially. That said, you still have more than a month to wait as that queue is unlikely to reach 2021 anytime soon. Sorry I don't have better news. Best of luck!

Reply to the email (indicate your intent to purchase the card). The email address that should have sent you the invite to purchase email is: ordernotify@evga.com. Then, tomorrow when EVGA opens up at 9 am PT, call their customer service line: 1.888.881.EVGA (3842). They should be able to get your sorted out. Your watch should be coming to a successful conclusion very, very soon. Enjoy your card. Best of luck.

Thanks for your kind words and the consideration of using my code. Call them after 9 am PT tomorrow and they should be able to find your registration and send you a new link to purchase your card. Best of luck!

Wow, that's a big jump for the 3898. There is a bottleneck in that queue up to 9:05, so a jump of 50 spots is a lot. It looks like very few people have self-reported, so maybe we will get even further by tomorrow. We should see a big straggler drop from this one as well. I am now a little more hopeful that my time stamp will come up before the prices increase in April. I am now less than 50 spots away in the queue. My alternate theory about why the queue moved so quickly is this.... Maybe there isn't much of a bottleneck. Maybe the sheet is a little more representative of everyone who got a time stamp. The server got really slow when the hybrid queues went live in December. A lot of people had trouble getting a time stamp. I ended up using a direct link to get in thanks to someone here who posted it. Otherwise, I would have been stuck in limbo for ????. It could be that not a lot of people got an early time stamp because the server bogged down. If I'm right, I should get my auto-notify in the next 1-2 drops. Here's the link to the hybrid sheet for anyone who needs it. https://docs.google.com/s...W4E/edit#gid=703227978

Thanks for the link to the hybrid sheet! Haven't seen that one before. I'm 5 spots behind you. Part of my username on that list has been changed to '****'. Not sure what's up with that. My guess is that I did not self-report?

hickelpickle Depressing, I know I'm not the one getting shafted by the notification glitch.
I think in the case of the Hybrids, the queue will jump forward pretty quickly once it gets past the initial congestion of 9-9:30 (especially 9-9:15 when the site wouldn't load for some people etc), so getting from where it is now to 10AM might be quicker than we expect. Hopefully we get bigger drops to move those queues on forward soon enough, but with all the supply crapoli going on, I think we may be looking at end of April before things get "better".
i don't know if that's neccessarily true because it didn't happen that way with the 3080 FTW3 Ultra. If anything it has slowed down.

Good morning! Got some good movement yesterday, here's hoping the rest of the week sees similar, and that EVGA clear up that issue with the 3898 invite emails
