Newegg Shuffle is ALL 3070s today.
LOL, clearing out Z390 motherboards... pretty much the only item worth trying for is the Asus TUF @ $669, and maybe the KO combo if you're looking for a relevant AMD motherboard. Shame on MSI.
The MSI cards you do NOT have to buy the motherboard.
Only the top two ASUS cards require the combo purchase.
I'll take that Suprim if I win.

I've checked from time to time, but I have yet to find an offering from newegg shuffle that makes sense for me. It feels like a derivative of my short-lived F5 career this past fall....

this is getting ridiculous. I know EVGA is doing what they can but maybe they should pair down the amount of SKUs that they have. 3897 was going great for awhile, but now it feels like they are using those for the hybrid models which makes zero sense. Oh well, maybe I'll get the card before July at this rate, not holding my breath. I'm kissing those pre raised prices good bye. NO WAY I'm getting this card before April.

Maybe! The week sure seems to be off to a great start! I didn't get into the queue until this week cuz i decided to get my movie theater basement projector going but I do enjoy seeing all these happy people getting cards after watching from the sidelines.

Newegg is basically scalping those MSI cards - they should be at least $100 less both. I didn't enter for them, but I did put in for the 5950x & 5600x... since the 5800x seems to be a CPU literally no one wants because of it's odd price, didn't put in for that one today.

Newegg is basically scalping those MSI cards - they should be at least $100 less both. I didn't enter for them, but I did put in for the 5950x & 5600x... since the 5800x seems to be a CPU literally no one wants because of it's odd price, didn't put in for that one today.
Good luck to others in the shuffle & congrats to those that got card emails today!
So far the 5950 is my prime candidate for my next build. The ole 8350 is up for retirement lmao.

I believe we are now in a new era for scalping. Scalpers in the future will buy up all inventory and try to corner the market, only let cards dribble out at high prices. Interest rates are low so no cost to carry inventory. Sorta like computer OPEC.
We don't have to let them. You are correct, but if we let them sit on their inventory, they will hurt. Just don't by from unauthorized retailers.

Based on reports of MSI scalping their own cards through a subsidiary company, the two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. Part of why I'm more than willing to wait in the queue for an EVGA card (assuming I continue to fail in my attempts to purchase one from a retailer).

The new egg shuffle appears to be daily. You just have to save the twitter page on your computer. I was watching it last week since Thursday and they would announce it on twitter that they had it, so I clicked the link and it took me to the twitter post to enter. I didn't see any announcement over the weekend, but on Monday I saw someone tweet that they entered the shuffle but there wasn't a post out by New Egg. I did a search and found that there was a shuffle going on, but nothing was mentioned on their twitter account. I entered and won the option to purchase the 5800X. Today again there was nothing by New Egg to promote the shuffle, but it is going on now. Less CPU options today, 5600 and 5800 along with the 5950 CPUs. I really wanted the 5900, but the 5600 I have is enough for what I do now.
I didn't check over the weekend, but I should have done a more thorough check. I was building my gaming PC so my time and efforts was wrapped up in that. I just checked their twitter account and didn't see anything about having a shuffle like they did the two days earlier.
Good luck to the gamers who enter the shuffle.

I scored a 5800x on launch day because it was the odd duck and everyone was piling on one of the others and I was able to get an order through. Been using it ever since and am very happy. It wants to run hotter so you need a good cooler and possibly a tiny bit of bios tweaking depending on your cooling situation. I don't regret the purchase.

Its not a very good system. Even if you win you have to checkout immediately or it will be out of stock by the time you try to buy. They have also raised the price in the cart for some people. I have "won" once since it started and i was booted out of checkout because of limited supply.

eBay's earnings from Q4 indicate exactly this.
I really don't think so. I looked up the earnings per share for ebay and it was exactly the same for Q3 and Q4. I am not a stock market expert however and I might be misinterpreting data.
