tomcatguy74 Hey everyone, How are some of you able to snag one of these cards off newegg or other places? How do you know when they will pop up?
Newegg puts stock on their website at 5PM PST Monday - Friday. I have been on the site ~5 minutes before each night for the last 3 weeks. I finally got one last night.
Save your address and card information (or paypal or whatever) to your profile ahead of time so checkout is quicker.
Did you refresh a single item or search for something? Refresh the FTW3 Ultra page or keep refreshing a search for "3080", etc.

I did a search for RTX 3080, then put the price filter for $750-$1000 so it didn't show pre-builts or those cheap cases that keep popping up. Once the time rolled around, I refreshed with Shift+F5 (It doesn't refresh using a cache, so it pulls new info from the site) Usually the first one will appear within the first minute or so of the hour. I then did my damnedest to get through checkout as quickly as possible. I also had my Wife helping me in the hunt, so we were both doing this every week night for the last 3 weeks or so. She was actually the one that got it in the cart and through checkout. I've had multiple close calls. Just keep your payment info close by and ready to be re-typed and you can do it. Good luck in your searching!

Nice! I'm doing the same thing. But only on 8 cards. I have EVGA and ASUS selected. Every other brand is trash. Congratz man!

Anyone know when best buy usually restocks? Trying to get my girlfriend a 3070 there since I have a 10% birthday coupon that's good until the end of the month.

natnade I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing a 3090 XC3 Hybrid from queue. Ideally I would've loved a 3080 (definitely the best bang for the buck), but am fortunate to have enough savings to get a 3090. Hard to justify double the price for only 15-20% increase in FPS returns, but I'm glad to experience one of the finest GPU's out there. Spending $600 more for an upgraded card at retail cost, instead of giving in to what scalpers are selling 3080s for in my area feels like a big win to me. Hopefully, this bad boy will keep a majority of its value over the next few years. Maybe when my queue slot pops up to get a 3080 I'll downgrade lol. Thank you EVGA for putting in the extra hours getting these queue's going and fulfilled. Also, thank you @EVGA_JacobF for being the face of EVGA and dealing with the thousands of happy/sad fans. Thank you enewt for keeping on that report update (I used your associate code for my purchase that saved me $81). Lastly, thank you customer support (Rob) for helping me troubleshoot my order. I've been purchasing EVGA since my first desktop build including a smoking 6600 GT graphics card and will continue to do so as long as y'all keep giving excellent customer service/warranties for quality products. Appreciate it.
Congratulations on securing your 3090! Your watch is quickly coming to a successful conclusion. Thanks for your kind words and for contributing to this thread community. Thank you for using my code for the 5% discount as well. Enjoy your card!

Good Luck to everyone. Hope you all have a good Holiday. BTW my card has the black accents so I was super happy about that. It looks really nice.

Decided to pop into Best Buy and see what they had for cheaper GPUs to get me off this 970 and buy time into the New Year for my queue slot to pop. 1x 1650 1x 1030 1x 710 No Radeon cards, no nVidia cards other than those three. This GPU market is abysmal. Also reached out to EVGA through other channels seeking a statement on the 3881/3883/3895 situation, hence my quiet Friday. We'll see what happens there, and I'll share anything I get from them back here.
10G-P5-3881-KR 9/17/2020 9:44:07 PM PT No 10 SKUs "launched" on 9/16, three of which have queues that still haven't even reached the 9/17 release date. EVGA: where are the 3881, 3883, and 3895?

Non-holiday weekdays only. We are likely to get emails Monday, Tuesday and, probably, Wednesday morning next week. Orders received by EVGA after 2 pm on 12/23 will not ship until January 5...they will be closed for the remainder of 2020.

Zephmeister I don't believe that the MLC Phoenix is compatible with the HC cards natively. But you might be able to setup quick disconnects for the HC to connect to the ones on the MLC Phoenix. I'm a bit out of my depth on this.
From the videos I've seen, yes you're right. i'm gonna need something that fits into the HC first that I can connect to MLC's quick disconnect tubes. This might be my first step on trying out OLCs. Kinda scared and excited(if I do get the 3899). Only downside is: I'm basically paying $1000 just to get my hands on a 3080. Sigh.

They ship about 50 a day - it’s just a LOT of people were there in the first few seconds of day one. For what it’s worth I added each of the SKUs in the first 10 min - about two min apart each - and received an invitation for each one about a week apart.

Same boat my friend. It’s crazy how high demand is. Just where we’re all at....until demand is satisfied or at least a larger chunk taken out, this is the game. Or you can hope you happen to hit F5 on Newegg at just the right moment to snag that add to cart button before the bots do. Best of luck, and so sorry it’s a terrible wait. I’m at 6:35am 9/29, that 9 min queue has been stagnant for a while.

Congrats to those that picked up a card via Newegg or whatnot in the last 24 hours - as always I would wait til you receive it to remove yourself from queue, see the Amazon debacle earlier this week where cards were "available" then all orders were cancelled - though I doubt Newegg will do such a thing. I do wonder if they have any plans to do Hybrid-cooled 3070s, doesn't look like it, which is kinda sad since we've had Hybrid coolers on the xx70-series cards for the last 3 generations or so if memory serves. I'm still thinking about the Kingpin purchase... and possibly picking up an NVLink bridge just to do a few days of SLi fun before I resell the regular 3090 Hybrid... $90 is a steep price to pay for some personal benchmark records though.

The spreadsheets aren't so reliable now, no way to know who is where in the queue, we are depending on enewt report, shows the latest place that got served in the queue.

I do not think the 3070's need that much cooling, do they? What I've seen of the hybrids is that they keep the boost speeds way more stable than the air coolers.
