Just read up about EVGA's queue system, and it sounds promising. I like EVGA's card design too, very streamlined. So I'm signed up. :3

There will be shipments of XC3s next week according to Jacob.

The entire queue system is literally not fair.
The only people happy about it are people among the first to sign up on the 17th.
Everyone else is just stuck waiting until December - January for our purchase emails.
The queue system should have only began AFTER Jacob made the announcement about it. Ridiculous to go all the way back weeks prior to that when no one had the slightest clue that it would be your place in line for a card. Lots of people didn't/don't bother with auto notify because it either fails to send at all or sends way too slow.

Absolutely not, and quite frankly you're the reason why (no offense). Two weeks ago you were complaining that Elite members had their own sales. So what did you do? You took your week old account and spammed your way to the post limit. I'm sure you'd be perfectly fine with "Elite" only cards now, right? Do you feel like an Elite member of the community? (again, no offense and nobody blames you)
 
Point being: announcing how they were going to distribute would be the absolute worst thing they could do. At least with this methodology they guarantee it could not be taken advantage of. And if you ask me, it's a nice little nod to those of us who have been here a long time since we've been analyzing and using the notify system for a decade to get our drops.

I hope I am wrong, but if I am not 2 or 3 days of notify orders moved from 6am to 7:20am on the 17th, with the majority of preorders happening according to the spreadsheet between 7-9am on the 17th.

I saw 9/16 on the spreadsheet. It is an honor system though.

The 09/16 1800 (09:00PM) about the XC3 Ultra is a straight up lie. Because I am way before that and have not gotten an email (confirmed on this site.)

Most folks know some of the data is a lie. No different than anyone telling you they "Never speed". Ha!

I'm not gonna lie, but big Navi is looking like a great option.... Amd took Intel's crown.... U know they will be very competitive against a 3080.... Ampere seems sorta half baked, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a refresh mid next year.

U can't buy a 3080 till next year..... There is no oc headroom. They are on a dated node.... Who knows why they went that route? Lowest bidder? Idk... But this gen doesn't feel like they really pushed them selves.... It's great don't get me wrong but I'm coming from a 1080ti which was an excellent card for 3 years.... But it's doubtful the 3080 will last 3 years. Amd is the budget option on gpu.... But seems like the logical choice when you can't buy a 3080 and want to play some games.

A queue system is good. I was hoping NVIDIA & EVGA (not to mention places like Newegg) would introduce queue systems for awhile now, with the scalpers and selling out in 30 seconds insanity.
 
I probably wouldn't have done it based on existing auto-notify, myself. I always tended to view those as trash and never work since by the time you get the e-mail the stock is gone anyway. So I didn't bother. I'm thus signing up pretty late even though I've been following since before the announcement.
 
Really want a hybrid but it seems it keeps getting pushed back. Maybe the queue system will help with that when (if) it comes out late November as at least that won't have a huge existing queue. I'd queue for it already if I could.

Mid/late November apparently. Kits will come out about same time as Hydro Copper cards.

haven't gotten the confirmation email that i signed up, checked the notify page and i am signed up, kinda odd and wondering if anyone's like this ? 

There is no confirmation email for signing up to be notified. You'll only get an email when the card is available to purchase.

That was pretty rude of you to say; especially since AMD did indeed take the performance crown overall in gaming vs Intel, and will hopefully continue to trade it back and forth. Big Navi already has been shown to be as good as the 3080, from the taste we got, but it's going to be a hugely compelling product for a ton of people.
