From the Reddit list, the most recent currently shows as 09/17/2020 07:21:44 (and they got the email today) - that's for the 3080 FTW3... https://docs.google.com/s...bGBgY/edit?pli=1#gid=0

After having issues trying to get a card on day one I thought I could just check now and then to see when there were some available, but finally got lazy and put in my notification requests on 9/24. So it’ll be quite a while for me to upgrade my 1080 GTX. But then, it’s just a video card. It’s not like trying to get toilet paper or paper towels lately, or the dream of having antibacterial wipes! 😁

Has anybody gotten a notification for the standard XC3 gaming or has it all just mainly been FTW?

sixfootse7en I hope not. That’s not really fair for the rest of us that are waiting for FTW3, and submitted a notification request early.
There will be shipments of XC3s next week according to Jacob.
The entire queue system is literally not fair. The only people happy about it are people among the first to sign up on the 17th. Everyone else is just stuck waiting until December - January for our purchase emails. The queue system should have only began AFTER Jacob made the announcement about it. Ridiculous to go all the way back weeks prior to that when no one had the slightest clue that it would be your place in line for a card. Lots of people didn't/don't bother with auto notify because it either fails to send at all or sends way too slow.
More fair than losing to bots and scalpers. You notice how many real gamers have been posting EVGA cards lately? It's all because of the queue system.

I'd rather take my chances of fighting it out with the bots than have no opportunity at all to buy other than waiting on an email that won't come for months. I don’t expect anyone who signed up on the 17th to agree with me obviously.

Then please fight with the bots on Newegg, Amazon, Best Buy, etc. Don't try to change the 1 site that has tried to cater to their customers by doing something new and showing that it works to block out the bots. There's no commitment to buy if you get the e-mail so if you find a card elsewhere, you're golden.

Dude don't even waste your breath, it doesn't matter what anyone does or what hoops EVGA jumps through to try and get cards into users hands at MSRP. There are those who will cry, kick and whine like babies because they didn't get it first. Guess what folks life is far from fair, and the sooner you realize that and man up the better. The whiners should be happy and thanking Jacob for putting some sort of system in place.

Absolutely not, and quite frankly you're the reason why (no offense). Two weeks ago you were complaining that Elite members had their own sales. So what did you do? You took your week old account and spammed your way to the post limit. I'm sure you'd be perfectly fine with "Elite" only cards now, right? Do you feel like an Elite member of the community? (again, no offense and nobody blames you) Point being: announcing how they were going to distribute would be the absolute worst thing they could do. At least with this methodology they guarantee it could not be taken advantage of. And if you ask me, it's a nice little nod to those of us who have been here a long time since we've been analyzing and using the notify system for a decade to get our drops.
I signed up for notify on the FTW3 Ultra 9/19 evening and I super happy about the queue.

Most everyone is happy and thankful for the queue except for the ones who were to lazy to take the few seconds to sign up, and now they want those who did to step aside and let them cut.

Ok folks. Can we move on now? You all have offered various opinions and it is appreciated. Time to move on and get back to the wonderful programs offered by EVGA so the majority of folks can get GPU's without being robbed on fleabay and or by bots. "EVGA has turned off the seatbelt sign and you are welcome to walk about the isles." Thank you...

R3L3NTL3SS He's right that I said I want to cut someone's place in line? Looking back over my posts and can't seem to see where I said that.
R3L3NTL3SS The only people happy about it are people among the first to sign up on the 17th. Everyone else is just stuck waiting until December - January for our purchase emails.
You don't want to wait behind people who signed up before you... so if you don't want to wait... obviously you want to get to be able to get a card before people who signed up before you... that's called cutting. Please keep acting like you're the victim of others picking on you... it's quite entertaining. Edit: Afterburner Ok folks. Can we move on now? You all have offered various opinions and it is appreciated. Time to move on and get back to the wonderful programs offered by EVGA so the majority of folks can get GPU's without being robbed on fleabay and or by bots.
Derp... saw this after I posted. I'm dropping the subject.

There's a google doc where people are listing what their signup time for the email notification is, and what time they got the announcement. But consider the number of people that signed up, its probably only a small percentage. But its enough that after a few days we'll have a general trend of how long it may take based on prior email announcements and whatever date you signed up on.

My Auto-Notify states for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra "You have already entered for a notify on the following date/time: 9/17/2020 7:36:32 AM" So hopefully I will get "the e-mail" in the next few days or next week. Thanks again for doing this EVGA! Xenawise

And people are lying and putting false information on it. So it's not accurate.

I’ve read every post on this topic and I think EVGA has done an admirable job in trying to get these graphics cards into the hands of consumers who are actually going to use them. The only thing about the system that concerns me is that someone could potentially buy one of each sku if they happened to sign up for notifications for all the different cards. There should be some way to limit purchases to one 30 series card per account/email. I realize that MOST of the folks on here are just looking to get one card for their own use, but given the opportunity to get more than one without having to do anything but respond to an email invite could be a bit too tempting for some. I would have no problem with the queue system automatically canceling all my other notifications for 30 series cards on my account once I receive an invitation and place my order. This would also release those cards immediately for others instead of having an eight hour wait before they are released. Personally, once I get the card I want, I’m going to ignore any future notifications to purchase (I am currently signed up for three different sku’s, all on the first two days after release). I’m just not so confident that others won’t be tempted to get multiple cards (potentially for resale) if the opportunity to get more than one just dropped in their laps. Just throwing in my two cents worth...

And under the current pandemic environment, how many folks do you think would be able to afford it and even want to do it if they could? 5%? 20%? 50%? Think it through... - Sales are sales. Think of how many times a "Widget" has been released and resold for twice the retail value. Nearly every hot product, like ever.
- Those that would do this, need $8200 for the 3090's and $3825 for the 3080's. So roughly $12,025 in retail cost (Not overinflated value). The "Overinflated" value of those diminish pretty fast when the next variants are announced. Notice I said announce, not released. So it would be a pretty big gamble.
- And even if they purchased them and then turned around and sold them. Because they are EVGA purchased GPU's, the warranty remains.
- Folks deeper into the calendar may be able to buy one of these GPU's at the retail price from an honest person, sooner than waiting for their email to arrive. And so on.
I know "Many" folks have not taken the offer to purchase the 3080FTW3 Ultras when offered. And EVGA just rolls those into the next days batch. And BTW, I agree with how this can be improved in the future. But anyone can be a Monday Morning Naysayer. But EVGA, under the gun, in the middle of a massive launch and bot attack. Came up with a darn good solution for the "Majority". Every sword can have double edge. Would we all like to go back to the way it was before this new program?
