And to think, if I had just signed up here first for a 3070 on launch day right at 9am EDT, rather than chase the EVGA & FE 3070s I kept getting into my shopping cart on best buy, I would already have one by now: 08G-P5-3767-KR10/29/2020 6:22:28 AM PT No 08G-P5-3755-KR10/29/2020 6:22:06 AM PT No 08G-P5-3753-KR10/29/2020 6:21:44 AM PT No 08G-P5-3751-KR10/29/2020 6:21:13 AM PT No 10G-P5-3895-KR10/28/2020 1:08:38 PM PT No 10G-P5-3885-KR9/19/2020 8:39:39 AM PT No 10G-P5-3883-KR9/19/2020 8:39:24 AM PT No 10G-P5-3881-KR9/19/2020 8:39:09 AM PT No 10G-P5-3897-KR9/19/2020 8:38:46 AM PT No

evgaboyd geez can we get off 9/17 already, am i right? lol
Eventually, probably, at some point, it will start moving like the 3090 did after it got off of launch day.
Possibly...perhaps...maybe...perchance...........NO, definitely...it will...it shall...it must!
Maybe. How much movement have we seen on the 3070 FTW3 Ultra queue this week?

dex3108 And email for my 3070 XC3 Black arrived. Registration date was 10/29/2020 06:09:41. But there are some issues with the checkout right now.
I hope maybe I have a shot. I signed up for a number of 70's amd 80s same day. :( no luck yet. I check spam, inbox and promotions to be safe.

At what point in the queue did the front loaded part of the 3090 give way? Just wondering when we'll see the same thing with the 3080.

Coming out of the morning following launch (so morning of 9/25) things really began to pick up. It slowed again around the queue announcement congestion of 10/5 and 10/6 but it should be on the downslope of that now. Should really start to move....

You also have to keep in mind that the 3090 had less overall notify orders because it's a more expensive card though.

Agreed. The 3080s will not move at fast at any stage of the timeline. And the FTW3 Ultra will have decent registrations throughout the timeline...hopefully somewhat mitigated by the apparent (could be wrong) higher volume and cadence of drops to the queue.

enewt Overnight, there was one addition to the summary that I posed last night – I received a report that the 3070 XC3 Black moved 12 more seconds (most likely due to a straggler from the prior days’ drops). As we begin EVGA’s Thursday’s business hours, this is where we start (bolded font represents movement from Wednesday; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of the movement): Card SKU Auto-Notify Date/Time
Ultra 3090 FTW3 Ultra 3987 10/06/2020 15:13:00 (+00:38:17)
So is this 38 minutes movement from 24 hours ago? Totally speculative and completely useless extrapolation then would be still be roughly 31 days of movement to go another 20 hours in the queue where I am at.. but then you have to remove weekends, as that would be 31 BUSINESS days... le sigh. It wouldn't be so annoying if it wasn't for the fact that as a game engine developer I really need that card for work. Maybe one of these days I'll get lucky on Newegg/Best Buy but so far everything I've seen is gone by the time I add it to my cart and move to the next screen :)

Again, we are on the downslope of the queue announcement congestion. I expect the 3090 to really start humming...some drops may even burn through 12 to 24 hours or more. Tough spot to be in given that you are in the industry ("and by the industry...I mean the business"...sorry, it is an old Hollywood joke that I couldn't pass up). Best of luck!

l00pback Drago, I missed the conversation about you being old the other day.... but I would like to point out that those of us who know what MIRC is are actually old :)
That's one form of chat I never got in to back in the day, I was usually on AOL, at the time I only had dialup because the internet infrastructure in my part of the country was (and still is) archaic lol Even now, the fastest "wired" internet you can get out here is 1.5Mbit and it ACTUALLY runs at 40KB/s half the time because the network is so over-loaded & under-built at this point. I got rid of that stuff years ago, having wireless internet is an experience, ping can go very bonkers out of nowhere, but the download speeds are waaaaay better. Instead of doing 900MB/hr maximum on the old DSL, I at least get about 3GB/hr now if I'm downloading a game, give or take, so it takes a few days to grab a game instead of weeks. Watch Dogs Legion was on the nicer side because it's not a "gigantic" game, and I got to pre-load it, that helped. Anyone know how big the CoD that's the current 3080/3090 promo is?

MIRC is young. Old means you used IRC before fancy clients like MIRC. Personally I'm BBS old. Hell, more like AOL/Compuserve old :(

I am a 300 baud kind-of-guy; when we jumped to 600, boy did our BBSs start to hum....
