Checking back in with an update. Received my 3080 XC3 Ultra today. My card came in with the red lips on the end and the seal was broken on the box (probably during shipping??? Also noted a slight tear in the corner- might check in with customer service and let them know). Slight rattle when I shake the card that I can't track down, but it's running quietly once installed.
 
Ran the Uningine Heaven Benchmark 4.0 (it's free and what I have installed). On ultra/extreme settings and 1440p, it ran at 125FPS (max 257). Temps topped out at 74.

 
Hopefully, once installed, you aren't shaking the card.    Still, an annoyance.  Topping at 74...not bad.

I just want to say to whomever it was that had the largest share of influence over the red accent...  "I FEEL FOR YA!"

I will admit that it seemed a bit off to me, but I know what it's like to work hard on something and have it be a flop.  I hope you can stay brave in your next efforts, as it's better to try something bold and fail than to aim for boring from the outset.  Try not to take the nearly universal panning of clown lips a rebuke of your creative efforts in general.

To be fair, I signed up for the 3080 FTW Gaming.  So every day is a disappointment to me...

I'd pay the extra $20 just so they would start production...

Yes you are right abut drops
I have nice yard and no fence, so have drops every morning and evening. Problem is that owners sometimes do not clean after their dogs.

Walmart has 3090s available fyi.  Just grabbed one at MSRP.
 
I'll cancel my queue spots for all 3070, 3080, 3090 cards if I get it (it says I am due to get in Wednesday).

Congratulations!  Your wait is almost over.

Don't give up.  Weird that your order was cancelled.  Are you ordering from outside of North America?  Could it be fraud protection on your form of payment (have you called them to alert them of your expensive purchase)? 
 
Don't give up on the customer service route. You will get your card ordered today!  

EVGA won't ship to my UPS store address because of fraud, even though Capital One texted me a code and approved the transaction.  They want to ship to my house where no one will be.  Ugh.  I have my credit card billing address as my UPS address because they are available during business hours to safely receive packages and I don't have to worry about porch bandits stealing my packages.   The rep on the phone was able to update the order to ship to my office (which has doors locked due to COVID but is better than shipping to my house).  Will see how the story goes!
 
Also, EVGA's phone system never called me back.  So I called again, it said 18 people ahead 25 minute wait and within 60sec I was connected to someone.  For anyone who has to call them, just wait, don't use the call back feature.

I really hope it works out!  Good on you for sticking with it.  I hope your watch will shortly come to an end.  Best of luck!

I am so sorry to hear that.  I saw on Twitter earlier today that it took somebody longer than expected to get approved for an RMA.  He tweeted to Jacob and Jacob took care of it ASAP.  If you get hung up in the RMA process, I'd suggest you consider that route as well.  I am really sorry...you fought so hard to get that card; you don't deserve another hurdle like this.

A coworker saw it on reddit this morning with a big drop (he bought one).  I refreshed it throughout the day and noticed another drop late afternoon.  I grabbed the EVGA 3090 FTW3 at msrp, if walmart's order system is to be believed.  There is a scalper selling the same model on walmart for $2499 but if walmart gets stock it will immediately be replaced with an msrp price.  I observed this behavior twice today: once this AM when I couldn't checkout fast enough and once later when I got it.
 
Note: I wasn't able to find this card or any other EVGA card using Walmart's search functionality so there could be other sku's available in stealth mode.

Bonkers.  Thanks for the post.  I may try out my semi-retired F5 finger again.  It hasn't had success before, but why stop trying now.
