indeed.  and I wouldn't be surprised if maybe there are obligations to retailers.  to help build inventory for the coming retail storm next week... just a thought...

Hello,
I know this has been asked a lot here, but is there a way I can see how far along in the que I'm?  I'm from EU, do I even have a chance?  I've entered at the end of October for RTX3070 XC3 Black Gaming.  I appreciate any feedback.
08G-P5-3751-KR 10/29/2020 8:29:01 AM PT No

There is a separate queue for EU consumers and, unfortunately, we don't have visibility into its progress or how many people have signed up for it.  I am sorry that I cannot help.  Best of luck!

Maybe I missed something but what refreshed lineup?

Step-up wise, I think you can only go up a series, not just extra memory if they release two different memory amounts. So 3070 could go to 3080 or 3080 ti or 3090. 3080 could go to 3080 ti or 3090

Mmm,  I'm just a random dude on the internet.  Pay me no mind.  It seemed to me the low volume indicated a rework on their lineup.  The 3060ti having more memory is necessary to counter navi 22, and the 3060ti having more memory than the 3080 (as an example) seemed to be a problem they would want to correct.  And the low shipment volume points to the bulk of stock being redirected toward this new refresh.

In any case, the 3080ti would be a viable step-up, based on your guidance.  So I can do the 3080 if it comes, and grab the 3080ti later in Q2, or Q3 or whenever.  Thanks!

No you are good, I wasn't sure if I missed some news recently.

Just remember with the step up, you have to register your card within 14 days of buying it (unless you buy the extended warranty) and you have 90 days from buying it to initiate a step-up. So as long as the 3080ti is released and the step-up program becomes available within 90 days of you buying the 3080, you should be able to do the step-up.

I noticed that UPS lately hasn't been updating their tracking much.  Sometimes it only shows departing origin location and no updates until the day of delivery that it is out for delivery... So there is hope...    (In response to @Jaccoon: "Mine from EVGA is in shipping hell and I have no idea why its still in California. Makes me nervous and want to buy one.")

Been watching this thread for a while.  Thanks all for the info.  I'm hopeful to be up soon:

Such a bummer coming to the realization that the card you signed up for, the one that was advertised as one of the line, isnt going to get any production any time soon. Had a buddy get his notification for the XC3 Ultra yesterday, and since I opted for the XC3 Gaming, its is going to be months, maybe more, for a 9/17 sign up. I mean, it makes sense that EVGA would focus solely on the cards that make more money with little or no additional cost to them, but it still sucks for the consumer.

Hindsight is 20/20. Probably would've been best to sign up for all of the 3080s

But if you signed up for 9/17, maybe there's still hope for 2020 for you to get one

We got a big drop last Thursday for the 3080 ftw ultra. Hoping for another big drop today. That's the biggest card only EVGA is pushing out and its still on the first day of the query.

Don't give up just yet, they are getting through the worst part of the queues now, once that big backlog is cleared it *should* be better for everyone, including the cards they haven't started shipping yet.

Still weirds me out that Activision & Blizzard are the same company now.

And at least you can uninstall Experience again after the redemption is complete.

I had a similar reaction to game sizes recently, seems like almost every newer game is 80-100GB, and with how slow internet is in my neck of the woods, that's a lot.

85gb.  That's nothing.  Try last year's COD (with Warzone) -- well north of 100gb.

As an aside, and to help those hard drive space-challenged folks, Blizzard added an option where you can now selectively choose which modules of the game client you want to install (Zombies not your thing, deselect that option and save some time and space).  Until Actard gets their lack of optimization under control, deselecting less desirable modes is as best as we can do...!?!

Overnight, there was one addition to the summary that I posed last night – I received a report that the 3070 XC3 Black moved 12 more seconds (most likely due to a straggler from the prior days’ drops).

As we begin EVGA’s Thursday’s business hours, this is where we start (bolded font represents movement from Wednesday; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of the movement):

Holy.. got my CoD game code.. 85GB download!   ..and yet another game platform (Battle.Net) to add to Steam, Origin, and had to install GeForce Experience to redeem it.

FFS.. finished downloading and now told I also have to have an Activision account before I can play. Seriously? THREE F***** ACCOUNTS FOR ONE GAME? I'm actually starting to regret redeeming it, even though it was free, lol. More accounts = increased security risk.
