Woohoo!!! Order placed. Finally RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA GAMING, 10G-P5-3885-KR 9-17 at 4:41 AM he’ll yes. Finally I don’t heve to replace the F5 button any more.. 😂 Thanks Enewt for the code, it worked and my transition went fine so far. I’ll post the pics wen I receive it after 2days shipping. 🤞

That is a BIG jump from where the queue was last week.  It looks like there is a dearth of registrations between 9/26 and early October.  Hopefully that will hold true for the other cards when they hit that window as well.

I don't believe that's true. A lot of people don't like to support scalpers and/or waste money for no reason

I'd argue the opposite - the people that can afford to pay it probably wont - and thats why they can afford to pay 2x msrp - spending twice the price to get something at the very worst case 6 months early is just impatience - unless you use the card for work

I built a desktop for CP 2077 also, been following it for years. Money isn't the issue, its principle and being logical
 
I'm not gonna get a 3080 by the time 12/10 rolls around, but I know I'll get a 3070 and then will step up to a 3080
 
Have there been any legit articles showing you absolutely need something more than a 2080ti to enjoy CP 2077 properly?

It will probably be the nicest game, graphically, that we've ever seen to date. Period. I find it incredibly hard to believe it's going to run all that great with ultra settings and ray tracing without one of the top 2 or 3 GPU's on the market.

Honestly.... I paid $300 over list for my x5950.. I don't care if it goes down to list and is widely available in February I want it before the holidays so I can finish my upgrade.
 
However, I have to draw the line on GPU prices from scalpers since they were a lot more then $300 above list... they were actually double at one point although now, like I said in a earlier post, they seem more reasonable.  Since I got my EVGA FTW3090 order in I won't consider it but I was considering a Arous 3080 for $1250... from ebay... thankfully I got a slightly better card for 500 more.
