Very new here.
What days do 3090s usually drop? I am 24G-P5-3987-KR 10/6/2020 10:24:41 AM PT, so I am very certain I will get a drop before xmas, but do you think it would get there within the next week or so? I am thinking a lot of people registered 10/6 because that was 1 day after announce. Also how to associate codes work?

FWIW, I'd hold off on the AMD cards.  Apparently the raytracing ability of those cards is miles behind Nvidia.  No DLSS either.

Those AMD cards have a lot to prove.  That being said, they've hit their targets in the cpu space and look to be leveling the playing field in the GPU space.   If you're upgrading and don't have specific goals around raytracing, they are probably going to be a great option.    They look to be using the same standards based approach used in the next gen consoles and it will have a lot of adoption and tuning, even if it doesn't perform as well.   They are going to sell out the first run for sure.  It'll be the second run that tells the tale.

Crystal clear kickstarter case (still waiting for my keycaps), DKB cobra 68030/68882 accelerator @28mhz with 128mb of ram, pcmcia wifi card etc and im eventually gonna overclock it lol

YES!! My first was a Commodore Amiga 500 - I had to work through all my school holidays for a long time to pay for that, but it was worth every penny. Amazed what they managed to do with so little. I had to ditch it when I moved country, but wish I still had it - it'll probably be worth a good chunk of change one day.

I am confident that they will sell out in the second run too.  Graphics cards are going to be supply constrained for some time, so both Green and Red will likely continue to sell well despite the minor defects or inadequacies of each family of cards.

ikr? The 3070 FTW3 Ultra queue hasn't even worked its way though 30 seconds of signups lol.  ..Still, much better than scumbots taking all of them.

I received mt notification to purchase my 3080 FTW3 yesterday and it is on its way!!! Not sure how to tell when i went into the queue, but i am excited to get this card in my brand new gaming rig.

It's going to be hard to keep checking at 6 AM every morning.
Cold War goes live tonight....gonna be alot of "stayed up til 2 AM" evenings

I tried...and failed.  Just impacted on the checkout surface at both Costco and Walmart.
