That's the problem, I haven't received an e-mail at all...but my EVGA profile says the notify was sent.

I know the answer may be in here somewhere, but I don't feel like combing through all these pages of posts...so i've been in queue for the 3080 ti hydro copper (12G-P5-3969-KR) since June 3rd at 8:32 am PT.  My profile says the notify was sent, but I never seen one in my e-mail.  I checked my spam, junk, and trash folders and there's nothing there.  Am I basically hosed now for being able to purchase one?

Reply to the email you received (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com).  In your reply, indicate your desire to purchase the card.  EVGA may sort you out with a fresh email once they return in 2022.

That's a new one.  I'd try emailing the address I gave you and see if they can find the invite.

SKU's change because Nvidia has been changing what they supply (ie: LHR models, Ti models, etc), and there are various sku's within each model for different silicon qualities and OC limits.

The way they're doing it now, with multiple different opportunities to enter que's means that normal people (ie: not miners or scalpers) have many more opportunities to try. I know like 3 people IRL that have gotten cards from EVGA already, myself included. If they had merely done FCFS tickets to buy whatever card, the bots and scalpers with 50 email accounts would have gotten 95% of the slots and there would have been no further opportunity for the rest of us to try and squeak in. It may not be perfect, but they now have more information for future launches/ques and since they actually seem to give a crap they'll probably use that information to make changes/assess.

If you missed the email about the que changes, that sucks but that's the market. Have you ever bought a house? Or tried buying a car this year? You have to be on top of things. You can't just put yourself on a notify list and clap your hands together assuming future success. Hell, I was on a bunch of lists with B&H as well and pretty much all of them were cancelled due to new Skus. You have to be checking/monitoring/trying daily if you actually want to walk away with something. EVGA is the only one with a que and are the only ones actually trying other than Best Buy and to a lesser extent AMD.

It sucks but this is the reality with cryptominers and scalpers.

Your logic that if the queue was FCFS then bots will buy everything doesn't make any sense. If normal buyers can signup thro multiple opportunities for the queue then bots can do the same. It's irrelevant. Also I seen a case where EVGA banned 2 account that ordered to the same address, probably happened a lot but I only seen one, the point is they have the ability to control bots by only allowing one account to order per address. And no I didn't miss the email and did update my queue but still waiting.

It's different people each time then. IE: New people pop up every day that need a card, and people that don't need one because they got one drop off and go away. So if only FCFS que on day one is there, than only the pool of people that wanted a card on that particular day are ever going to get one because there's a bajillion bots/miners/scalpers also in que. They say there's prevention, but then you see a half dozen cards from the same person a week after that respective card has big drops on here so (they've gotten better and it sounds like orders do get cancelled/banned now)... But the way the que works now, with every launch/sku change new people that legit need a card pop up and can be ready and give it a shot when a que opens up.

Either way, the latter is the way they're handling it and I'm glad it is because it's the most logical way. And I reiterate, throwing your name on a que is not enough. I've only been trying since February of this year (without bots or any hacks whatsoever) and have managed to put cards in rigs for over half a dozen family members, 2 WoW buddies, a couple work friends kids, and myself. Granted half of those are AMD cards direct from them, but a card is a card at this point. If you're not treating this like a hobby with Discord alerts and calendar reminders for probable drops and actually sitting there during drop times, you're probably not going to get a card without hitting up ebay.

According to element35gaming at least. Plus I am on 7th of Dec (for the same card) and still haven't seen any card :P
GPUs in EU are super slow, not just slow..

I looked at your summary and it used to have the last time the SKU dropped and how much time it moved. It is not on the sheet so I was just wondering if you knew when the last time the SKU 3767-KL dropped and how much time did it cover when it did?

Thanks.

been a member since 2009 i think....sad times.  Was going to build one last year and waited...dumb move.  I been waiting for EVGA to get their own motherboard and videocards out so i could buy it from them and not from some other source like I always have.  Hope EVGA has a plan.

Jacob has repeatedly said they are having trouble getting the HC. We have seen drops but with copper prices and production issues, not a lot. No need to ascribe ulterior motives to an already lousy situation for everyone.

Not ascribing any motives. It is just that the products which I was signed up for when they limited us to only two notification choices were all hydrocopper. And I thought the likelihood of me getting a different card by swapping over to a non-HC card and starting at the back of that queue would be worse than just sticking with it. Seems like I am just screwed altogether. So it may not be an intentional thing, but the fact is that we in the HC group are just not going to get served. If I had thought my chances to get a 3080 ti by now and buy an EKWB block for it were better I would have dumped my place in queue back then and started over.

DoctorDothraki
Yeah. I believe that when EVGA told everyone "two queues per person" last September, they recommended people get the FTW3 and XC3 cards (not Hybrid or HC) because EVGA will have a better time producing them.

They did, and I considered the possibility of leaving those queues. But I would have been starting at the back of the line. Those were the ones I was signed up for before the announcement.

I heard from PC Gamer website that there are three graphics cards nominated for the best of 2021.  Those are the 3080 ti, 3060 12gb and Radeon RX 6700 XT.  The winner will be announced New Years Eve.

Hi everyone,
sorry for my bad writing.
I read some forum pages trying to understand the times for the gpu queues for EU, but honestly I got a bit lost in all that content.
like so many of us, I'm in the queue with these two gpus:
10G-P5-3881-KL  17/4/2021 1:51:51 PT08G-P5-3755-KL  17/4/2021 1:46:14 PT
Honestly, after 9 months, I no longer know what to think or what to expect.

Anyone from his experience, can you tell me something?
thank you.

Well the 3881 is essentially a dead SKU, last US notification was for a pre-queue launch day auto-notify timestamp.
The 3755 has moved moderately better in the US, currently the most recent timestamp notified was 12/25/2020.

Given how slowly the EU is getting notifications and the April timestamps you have, you really should be look at other options to get a card.  Best chance from EVGA is probably getting into a queue early on the upcoming refresh lines that nvidia will officially announce next week, but the EVGA queue isn't a guarantee.

ciao nomoss,

I only have 1 account
Penso che ci sia molta confusione nei loro sistemi.

You will need to buy a new PSU (at least 1000w) for 4080 :D

The 3090 is not a candidate because the contest is about 2021 cards, and the 3090 is a 2020 card.

Also, the 3090 FE is 336x140x61mm, the EVGA FTW3 3080 ti (3967) is 300x136x56mm. Close enough if I want a card to break my PCIe slot😆 🤣

That's pretty ironic to even name a GPU of the year in 2020.  The only people who had them were the people doing the reviews.

Probably 3080 ti will win 😆 🤣

''wHy DidNt YOu JusT BuY A 3090''

1. I got notified for the 3080ti, not the 3090
2. I just play games, don't need the vram
3. (If they're snarky) I'd prefer if my gpu didn't explode

The 3090 is not a candidate because the contest is about 2021 cards, and the 3090 is a 2020 card.

Also, the 3090 FE is 336x140x61mm, the EVGA FTW3 3080 ti (3967) is 300x136x56mm. Close enough if I want a card to break my PCIe slot😆 🤣

well I feel dumb

EDIT: found 2020's pcgamer gpu of the year canidates, suck it 3090!

That's pretty ironic to even name a GPU of the year in 2020.  The only people who had them were the people doing the reviews.
