keroF Why does EVGA give priority to people who joined the queue this year over the people who signed in 2020.... Zero sense
They don't. It all depends on what individual SKU people queued for and which SKUs are moving at various times. Some SKUs from 2020 have not moved very much at all, whereas there are SKUs that were released in 2021 that have moved a lot relative to others.

I have been in the queue since November 2020 (initially had six SKU's in the queue too) and then EVGA assigned two of the SKU's to me ( 10G-P5-3895-KR and 10G-P5-3897-KL). They should afford us (customer) the opportunity to change the SKU's without starting over in the queue process (IMO). I have been a loyal EVGA customer (and like their products obviously), but frankly, don't care for this current process. Rant over. :-)

This is true! Best Buy does offer the EVGA cards at MSRP, just very lucky if you're able to score one!

They do, if you signed for the cards released this year early, you have a chance to get it before someone who signed in late 2020. They either should allow people to switch queues or serve those who signed first. They ofc can still produce the newer cards for stores to sell, but their queue production capacity should be produced and sold based on FCFS

This would be awesome to be able to do! I have an EVGA 1080 ti Hybrid FTW3 in my system which has been great for 1440P gaming, but I purchased a 48” LG CX 4K TV and want to play games in 4K and utilize the VRR capabilities. What GPU is recommended for this? Thanks.

EVGA informed everyone that they needed to reduce their queues to the two SKUs they wanted. After the deadline, the two oldest SKUs were what remained active.

Yes, EVGA posted a notice on the forums and emailed users email address about selecting and taking off queues spots that exceeded the maximum of two. EVGA also recommended the FTW3 Ultra models as those are produced in higher numbers if I recall correctly. Not sure what else they could have done to notify users.

Are you US or EU? In the US the 3897 has been moving recently. It's at 11/18 and moves a few days per drop. Shouldn't be too much longer for that model.

SKU's change because Nvidia has been changing what they supply (ie: LHR models, Ti models, etc), and there are various sku's within each model for different silicon qualities and OC limits. The way they're doing it now, with multiple different opportunities to enter que's means that normal people (ie: not miners or scalpers) have many more opportunities to try. I know like 3 people IRL that have gotten cards from EVGA already, myself included. If they had merely done FCFS tickets to buy whatever card, the bots and scalpers with 50 email accounts would have gotten 95% of the slots and there would have been no further opportunity for the rest of us to try and squeak in. It may not be perfect, but they now have more information for future launches/ques and since they actually seem to give a crap they'll probably use that information to make changes/assess. If you missed the email about the que changes, that sucks but that's the market. Have you ever bought a house? Or tried buying a car this year? You have to be on top of things. You can't just put yourself on a notify list and clap your hands together assuming future success. Hell, I was on a bunch of lists with B&H as well and pretty much all of them were cancelled due to new Skus. You have to be checking/monitoring/trying daily if you actually want to walk away with something. EVGA is the only one with a que and are the only ones actually trying other than Best Buy and to a lesser extent AMD. It sucks but this is the reality with cryptominers and scalpers.

No drops, no drops, but my queue number on EU moved from 145 to 156 in just one week, from 08/20/2022 to 09/29/2022, also the graphics cards in my region had jump in price to x3.8 from the msrp. Yesterday I had placed an order to a x2 higher price RTX 3060 Ti and today the retailer had cancel my order for the reason that they don't have it in stock. Click-bait I think.

I honestly think you might get it. The first card I got (which went in my brother's Xmas present) was a 3655, which I received a notify for on November 2nd. List price on my invoice was $329.99. G'luck.

Do not pay attention to the position and date that element35gaming writes about your queue, is not the reality.
There is no reason to buy something from EVGA again. Greek souvlaki I do not know English I translate with Google .... Sorry.

Your logic that if the queue was FCFS then bots will buy everything doesn't make any sense. If normal buyers can signup thro multiple opportunities for the queue then bots can do the same. It's irrelevant. Also I seen a case where EVGA banned 2 account that ordered to the same address, probably happened a lot but I only seen one, the point is they have the ability to control bots by only allowing one account to order per address. And no I didn't miss the email and did update my queue but still waiting.

I don't know, didn't look. Did a cursory Google, and the only EVGA price increases folks wrote about were back in January, before the 3060 even existed. If you'd like to comb through this thread for a date they bumped the price, please do. All I'm saying is less than 60 days ago I paid $330 for a an RTX 3060. YMMV.

Jacob has repeatedly said they are having trouble getting the HC. We have seen drops but with copper prices and production issues, not a lot. No need to ascribe ulterior motives to an already lousy situation for everyone.

Yeah. I believe that when EVGA told everyone "two queues per person" last September, they recommended people get the FTW3 and XC3 cards (not Hybrid or HC) because EVGA will have a better time producing them.

I know the answer may be in here somewhere, but I don't feel like combing through all these pages of posts...so i've been in queue for the 3080 ti hydro copper (12G-P5-3969-KR) since June 3rd at 8:32 am PT. My profile says the notify was sent, but I never seen one in my e-mail. I checked my spam, junk, and trash folders and there's nothing there. Am I basically hosed now for being able to purchase one?

Reply to the email you received (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com). In your reply, indicate your desire to purchase the card. EVGA may sort you out with a fresh email once they return in 2022.
