Nah, i wouldn't say 2021. Jacob has been saying on twitter it's gonna speed up, and it definitely has been.

Man I seriously hope so. I sold my 2060 a month ago, and I've been hobbling around with a 2GB GTX 1050 that a friend loaned to me.

I'm at the point where I'll just get what I can get, nevermind the unannounced SKUs that are coming whenever they're coming out.

Hi y'all so I just found this earlier today...I'm seeing a spreadsheet has been created to figure out approximate placement in the queues? Pretty cool, I wanted to add mine..9/17/20 for ftw 3 ultra 10g-p5-3897-kr 7:14:51pm. Not sure what time zone the site runs on...pacific time? I'm in eastern anyway. I haven't gotten my email yet. I'm afraid I can type messages easily but trying to sort through and search posts to find if there's a link has been making my head spin with how tired I've been the last week.

There's a lot to sort through...it looks like the spreadsheet got attacked or something? No links for it at this time then?

This queue is moving so slow. I figured I had no chance of getting a card this year, but the last few weeks confirmed that. Good luck to the rest of you that signed up on 9/17. You'll should have one by year end.

I would wait until the end of next week until you lose hope. Jacob hinted at another larger drop this week. If they're moving to multiple large drops per week, things would accelerate considerably.

I feel like this has been repeated almost every week for the last month. I feel like it isn't very truthful because there is no context with actual numbers. If there were 100 cards last week, anything more than 100 is a larger drop. This queue was a good idea as was the Elite signup, but it was after the fact, so the waiting continues.

I hear ya. But there is some evidence that things are moving faster. Last week, queue times moved more than we've ever seen up to that point. We had another big drop this morning, and Jacob is tweeting that we're having even another larger drop this week. We have not seen 2 big drops in one week before. That's huge.

I've been called out for trying make some inferences with the information available. For being both too positive or too pessimistic. So I'll just say I have some reason to believe supply is getting better week over week. As with all data, we can make better decisions as the weeks go on, but we have to wait anyways. Let's see where things go.

Added.
Your current position is # 450.
EVGA have reached position #165 with sending out emails for that card.
Things do seem to be picking up a little, so you may not be in for too long a wait.
The spreadsheet has been 'vandalized' 3 times in the last 24 hours, but is currently restored and functioning.

For info about the spreadsheet, where to view it & add yourself, check out this post.

Don't forget to use an associate code when purchasing to get 5% off your card.

What's the latest time for FTW3s? We're on 2pm 16th for the XC3s I see, which is good.

Thanks. It's moving, but at this rate I think my gaze shall shift toward the XC3, lol. Cyberpunk got delayed though, so I guess that's overall better for everyone hoping to grab a card before it released.

Gonna try to keep from sounding like a broken record, but there are tons of reason stock might surge in the coming weeks, though my main guess will be a hard shift in demand. We'll know a bit more tomorrow morning and even more when independent reviewers get their hands on the tech, but right now the AMD cards are looking like a legitimate option for gamers who are on a new gsync monitor that can also use Freesync and those who don't really care about raytracing and/or don't have real-world need for DLSS (which imo would be playing at 4k or ultrawide and mostly playing the few games with it).

This may be the balance in the force we needed, lol, and should give scalpers a heartattack... so long as availability is good. They said supply will be far better than what nvidia had, but without context that doesn't actually say anything, meh.

You guys are missing one crucial point. AMD cards won't be available immediately. If we are lucky they will be available late November, but judging by CPU launch they might even go to December. No reviewer has got any Navi product yet. So today's launch in all probability is just a launch and actual availability will be weeks later

This is true, but a ton (and I mean, a ton) of peopled wanted to upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077 which at this rate isn't actually coming until 2077. The umptenth delay and possibility that it might be delayed further into 2021 means people have more time for the card they really wanted to experience CP2077 with, so late November might not really be a big deal. With the actual announcement tomorrow (today now, I guess), there won't be anymore whispers and hushed speakings, we'll know exactly what AMD is presenting and it won't be long until tech reviewers get their hand on it. The point is that this might very well cause a lot of people to simply give up on the 30xx series and wait for AMD, especially since they don't have a choice, really, lmao.

We don't actually know when the cards/CPUs will actually be available though, so yeah a lot will ride on that too. But the information being out there as well as the availability of 3070 should still help things, and November overall should see a huge improvement in availability between everything. If not... well, start praying I guess, lol.

Okay, so here's a random question.

I'm currently like upper 400's in the queue for a 3080 and I'm assuming that's going to take a couple of months to get to me.

I've got the full amount saved up for the card but I was thinkin...would it be smart to take what I've saved and get a new mobo and then just recoup what I spent before I get picked? LOL

You could. But you better pray the "demand issue" continues for another couple of months.

Hey thanks I got it sorted now.  I'll peep the spreadsheet and join that group so I can watch it.

I'm definitely thinking I'm going to end up waiting til the 20GB revision comes out though, or try a 68 or 6900XT from AMD depending on how that pans out...first time I've been excited for new cards for quite a long time.  I had a 2080TI ftw3 ultra hybrid (never had any pump whine but I ran it vertically..person who has it now has it horizontal apparently it does whine w/o changing the pump cable to the MB) and games at 4K are definitely getting up there in terms of memory usage...the RE remakes, HZD, Doom Eternal etc all can run up into the 9, 10GB vram usage.

No worries. You can still view the spreadsheet without joining that group, but can't edit. I have no idea if there will be a 3080 20GB revision - rumors first said yes, then a definite no, then yes again, so who knows? With the big gap between the 3080 and 3090, there's certainly room for it. It will be interesting to see how the AMD offering pans out - it's released today, but apparently no reviewers have received the card for testing, so it's sounding like a paper launch... we'll find out soon enough I guess. I have the 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra Hybrid too - absolutely no problems at all, no whine or noisy pump or anything, but yes I believe radiator placement has a lot to do with that. I always make sure the rad is higher than the pump/block with AiO coolers. I had the card horizontal for months, and recently switched to vertical in preparation for the 3000 series, and no noise either way. I'm waiting on the 3090 FTW3 Ultra list atm as I can use that extra ram for PS, video, rendering etc.

Yeah I *just* read that theyre letting rumors bounce back and forth...rn they're saying oh it'll be a 3080 Ti again with more cores etc and not a vram update. 🤷‍♀️ I do actually want more than 10 11gb but that 3090 is out of my reach really. The 2080 ti was a freak of nature for me a very...obsessive fan of the stream I used to do sent it to me I'm like "well this makes me uncomfortable but the card itself is very comfy."

Seeing that I'll just get this 3080 and then I'll trade it in if I like what I see from amd. None of the amd aib partners really match what evga does unfortunately.

I never added myself or asked to be added. I just know that I have fallen back behind 400 other people since the list was made.

I'll keep on waiting I guess. 🤪

All of my notifies are 740ish PM on 9/26.... I signed up for every 3080.  I am really curious as to which card I will get an email for first.  Call it my social experiment of the winter :)

lol I did the same thing. I originally notified for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra, but a few days ago I also notified for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra to see which one comes up first.

I'll have a big decision to make if the 3090 email comes first.

What's the latest time for FTW3s? We're on 2pm 16th for the XC3s I see, which is good.

Latest notification times for emails sent on spreadsheet:
3090 FTW3 Ultra - 09/24/2020 14:32:35
3080 FTW3 Ultra - 09/17/2020 08:22:18

We'll know a bit more tomorrow morning and even more when independent reviewers get their hands on the tech, but right now the AMD cards are looking like a legitimate option for gamers who are on a new gsync monitor that can also use Freesync and those who don't really care about raytracing or have real-world need for DLSS (like playing at 4k or ultrawide and mostly playing the few games with it).

Competition is good for consumers, I am glad AMD has finally gotten their stuff together, both the CPU and GPU side.

At this point the owner should just lock it down and only allow people that have been shown to be trustworthy to edit it.

Sad that something like that would have to be done but it's pretty clearly time to do it now.

As I suggested (probably not an original idea)... Wouldn't it be easier and more helpful to simply keep a latest email sent per SKU table posted here on update.  It is way more meaningful and will help those who don't quite grasp the spreadsheet know what they actually need to know.

Just my thoughts.  Good luck and fast queues yall!  Today should be interesting if nothing else!

Again I support your idea as best since launch day  (paper)

If it was only EVGA forum members on there, I would definitely agree to recommend locking it down completely or someone run it manually here, but there's a lot of people from Reddit and Discord on there too. The good thing about having to be logged on through Google to edit now is that it makes it much easier to reverse the damage, but again, we have to wait for the spreadsheet owner to do that as nobody else has permissions (I've emailed him already btw).
