I regret holding out for the Black edition 3070...so close yet so far. Feel like this just wont be made anymore.

I'm shocked. For my use case, I was more concerned with budget than top tier and I was closest on the 3783 and 3655 so I just left those two. Up until last week the black/cheaper ones weren't moving at ALL, and the FTW3/Ultras were trucking right along.
 
I wasn't expecting to get a notify this year on the 3655, if ever. I had kind of given up and have been trying to get my hands on a decently priced Legion 5/Pro. Managed to snag that Walmart L5P, it was defective, have another one arriving this week. If that pans out this is going to make a badass better-than-an-Xbox in a little Inwin A1 case in the living room :)
 
Edit: The step up page is a bit confusing, what are the step up options for a 3655 (3060 XC)? Is it like, 3060ti FTW only or can you select a 3070 or something?

You can step up from 3060 to any 30 series card up to 3090.

I don't think EVGA make motherboards to make money. Way overpriced, I don't think they sell it a lot. It looks like they do it for premium brand reputation.
 
For average user with one GPU and one M.2 SSD any B550 board will be enough.

I'm not exactly up to date on the x570 market, so I can't really say how it compares to others out there. I think the z590 series were placed right along with their direct competitors in price/performance from a specifications standpoint. I don't disagree with you on any the Dark series, as those are always pricey and yet still priced with their competition, but the FTW series I usually expect/hope for a little lower price. Of course, I used to buy the Micro-series boards back when they made them, as they still OC'd great in terms of 24/7 OCs for gaming. My Micro2 x99 board was amazing for years.
 
This does adjust my predictions for z690 a bit though. Now I'm betting Classy is closer to $550-600 and KP closer to the $750-800 range. I was originally expecting $50-75 less for the ranges, but my guess for x570 was that far off so maybe z690 will be the same lol. Of course just a guess at this point.
 
I would mainly say that I never expect EVGA motherboards to be the cheapest option out there. I don't think they sell any real volume of them compared to some other companies, and they really do put some quality parts into the designs (talking VRM design, PCB design, and heatsink designs... not POST Indicator LEDs lol those are bad quality apparently...hopefully they're fixing that issue).

Not sure if everybody saw, but they secretly (well, no-heads-up) launched the X570 FTW today. Info over in the x570 section or on the front page of the site. It is live to hit the notify button, and at least one person got one today, so they had some. It is quite pricey in my opinion, but many things are these days lol.

Now, they just need to enter the Mini-ITX market and I'm ruined 

That would be cool, but I imagine it is getting more and more difficult with all the power the new CPUs (at least Intel anyway) and GPUs are requiring. As I said above, I loved my Micro2 x99 (quad channel DDR4! lol), but that's still a step back from mini-ITX

I just checked to see how the queue was going and noticed my notifications page says I've been sent a notification for a 3967. The only email I've received since june from EVGA has been the news in october about the queue changes. Has anyone else noticed something similar? Are the emails reliable or did I just happen to see my notification before the email is sent out and I'll see it soon?

You should have already received an email if a given row on your "my notifies" page states "yes".  You should try emailing ordernotify@evga.com and indicate that you did not receive an invite to purchase email yet the page says "yes" -- indicating that it was sent.  EVGA may or may not try to rehabilitate that invite for you with a new email.

Edit: did some more through searching and turns out gmail marked the email as spam, because why wouldn't it? Guess I get to wait for the next notification. Note to future people, make sure ordernotify@evga.com is whitelisted by your email, because google labels it as spam.

Edit2: EVGA support is best support and sent me a fresh email.

I signed up for the queue back on October 8 of last year. Like I know a lot of people did, I added all of the different 3080 cards to the list, eventually learning that the one I actually needed was one of the FTW3 ones because of something to do with the power connections (probably should have jumped out of the others once I learned that but I wasn't sure how. Didn't think it was that big a deal at the time) I went back to check yesterday to see if these cards were still in production since I still hadn't heard anything, only to find out that somehow I missed the email saying that we needed to delete all but two before October 11, otherwise we'd be kicked out of all but the two oldest. Finally found my list and sure enough, it says False next two the two FTW3 cards, with no option to change it and a message saying it was locked nothing can be changed. Does this mean I'm SOL on ever getting one of these cards? There pretty much not being shipped to any physical store like Micro Center any more.
