i was playing with a 3080ti xc3 HC yesterday..... The power limit doesnt really go above 340w..... it spiked at 366.... but i think there is something really screwed up with all the evga cards this gen... they really didnt do a great job on the 30 series.... it seems like they are saving as much as possible while still claiming huge OC potential.... the xc3 isnt going to OC very far period...

to be fair, the 3080 ti xc3 in general has been having a lot of issues. I dont think you can assume all the other SKUs have the same missing potential when everyone on the forums here has said to not buy the 3080 ti xc3 for that exact issue. Kram36 was heavily vocal against that card back when he was doing his own notify queue list.

i mean its cool, i build gaming pcs with these cards for my customers who are waiting. he doesnt OC or anything. its still hits a little under where my 3080 ftw3 did with the 2160 to 2200mhz oc.... its still fine for a stock card... but no point in HC xc3... u know what i mean?

to be fair, the 3080 ti xc3 in general has been having a lot of issues. I dont think you can assume all the other SKUs have the same missing potential when everyone on the forums here has said to not buy the 3080 ti xc3 for that exact issue. Kram36 was heavily vocal against that card back when he was doing his own notify queue list.
bios update fixes this. Also Kram is happy with the card now according to the thread that discusses all these issues.

Remember compusa, well its website is still up with really old hardware for sale like DDR2 and core 2 duo spec PC's. Kinda fun to go back in time. You click on any of the links and it tells you that the page has been moved..lol
I got my first mac mini from them in 2005. They actually offered my wife and I some bottled water while we waited for them to get the mini the mouse the keyboard and the monitor from the back room. I had dial up for a month ugg and then got 15 speed from cablevison.

I’m pretty happy to see the 3060 Ti’s starting to see some love. I queued way to late on them and after seeing the dearth of that sku, it really didn’t matter much. It’ll take a months or two for my slush fund to recover from multiple emergency auto repairs. Hopefully, in time for a 3090 invite to purchase.

LOL I keep seeing the US queue move and I admit to a little salt, but it's fine I say as the times have not passed what I have so I just stay calm.
I'm worried though that if they pass my queue times I might loose the lid to the salt and it'll get all over me ;)
That said I saw an MSI card (3080Ti Ventus 3X) at a retailer earlier at the same price as the Nvidia FE, (£1049.99 GBP (the FE is £1049.00)) I was astounded to finally see prices drop to where they should be.
I hope this is a good sign going forward.
It did of course sell out, but the UK retailers have had stock available for a couple of weeks albeit a tad high.
