Well, I gotta hand it to you...I don't know where the heck you found those reports but I haven't heard a peep from anyone today except a straggler kpe hybrid well this isnt the only forum where people are providing updates, EVGA Queue Summary thread is where I saw a lot of those reports show up

Dang, in all my years never been so hard to get a card. Sighed up in Feb...not a word.
Think, i'll just skip this gen...not worth it anymore for myself. Way overpriced and games have been lacking of late.

Coming up on a year since the 30-Series cards were introduced and 'released' (Sept 17th, 2020).. for the RTX 3080 anywho. I'm still slowly inching closer and closer in the queue. Glad my old GTX 1080 has been treating my well. Still love this card!

Maybe on air cooled cards and slightly on hybrid on HC's not so much another reason there are less is the fees involved . You can only turn a profit on ebay at this point if your charging prices that a large faction of those still looking refuse to pay and by profit I mean 500+ after fees . Ebay tax man has his hands deep in the game .

Pretty much the same boat you are in, however my 1080 is starting to show signs of failing. Several times a week I get random BSODs that best I can trace to are coming from the 1080. Mitigated a bit by manually setting fanspeed and lowering power levels on the card.

On EBay 3080s still going for stupid prices but the Ti cards I have seen going for a net loss , I bet there are going to be some surprised people when they see the final bill come in with the Fees.

How does being an Elite Member play into the notifications? Does the 24 pre-access only apply to the first time a product launches or as stock comes in and people are notified via the notify me system?

The 24 hour elite exclusive access is only for new releases, e.g. when the official release date for the 3080Ti arrived, elite members had exclusive access to auto notify. After the 24 hours it was open to everyone. As far as the queue is concerned, it gives you nothing else.
Just as a reminder for future releases "release date" is the date that NVIDIA authorizes AIB to sell GPUs.

That looks like it's on 9/16 - You are 11 days away, I would not expect this for a long time or ever tbh realistically speaking. It may of had a drop in the last 30 days but that's probably the first drop since launch.
