I feel like alot of you guys have gotten your cards already and still have many notifies open if not multiple accounts~!! Am I the only one Pissed that i see people getting notifies that they turn down... Doesn't this SLOW DOWN THIS ENTIRE PROCESS b/c every time they send an email out they have to keep that card available for that person for a time period... **** how many of you have cards and are still signing up for more? I just don't get it what the hell are you doing with all of these cards. Some of us don't have anything yet so how about give up all of your notifies once you receive a card... all this well i got a 3080 but i wanted a 3080 Ti and then my Brother also wanted me to get him a 3070 and my dad is getting the 3090... yall make me so mad!!!

I forgot to mention I prob will just hold off getting a 30 series b/c of all of this madness... also I wanna see what next years cards are like before I make my decision since I probably wont get a notify anyway until half way through 2022. I just hope that most of you are happy with your upgrades and you aren't going to NERD out as soon as the specs come out for next series and try to buy them all up as well... Hopefully by then all the supply issues will be non existent but who knows what 2022 will bring.

There are a couple ways to look at this. Every true gamer that gets a card who isn't a card hunter is one more not actively trying for a card. Also, letting queue spots go is a little tacky, but it helps fill out the "non-drop" days with some straggler movement. As long as people who have queued and purchased multiple cards are not profiting and making sure they are going to people who are not profiting, I have 0 issue. Again, I understand your frustration, but you ain't going to change people. I would focus my anger on the asswipes who stood outside BB on Tuesday to try to triple-up on the FEs, with zero intention of keeping them. Brought friends so they could get around the 1 card per person. Then turned around and put them up for sale for 2-3x the price.

Read an article about how manufactures have abandoned the economic cards becuase they can just make more money on the premium. There is barely any movement on 3060-ti and 3060, im also on queue for a 1660 super but I doubt I'll be able to get entry-level card. Looks like for now its go-big-or-go-home with graphics cards.
Keep in mind with the older cards, the queues are a first come notify, everyone gets the email at the same time there is no secured window of time for you to purchase. Got a notify email a few weeks back on a 1650 super and it was sold out within seconds of the email.

same here, when you struggle just get one, some fighting for 2nd or 3rd card, and dont forget scalpers, and i dont have tons of signs, need only one god damn gpu,

Thanks going to sell it at msrp to a friend.
This is what I've been doing. When I got my 3080 Ti I had to decide if I was going to abandon my notifies but I knew I had friends who were also looking for GPUs and had not been fortunate enough to find opportunities like this. I already sold my 3080 to a friend I game with for exactly what I paid for it after taxes/shipping, though he did also provide a thank you beer. The 3070 Ti will likely go to a coworker who has been hunting and the 3060 Ti is for my wife's machine (which definitely doesn't need anything more powerful).

In my opinion, yes. 4k gaming even with the magic of DLSS, you want ultimately 3080 or greater. 3070 is going to do it, but not well enough that justifies keeping the $400. This is coming from someone who fortunately has the income to where $400 is really pretty trivial in the big scheme of things, so take my personal advice with that caveat.

I agree, it seems the same people get in early on all the Evga queue.
If you get the opportunity to buy a card and buy it, then a 10minute penalty should be added to other cards you put in for.

Not removing your notify from queues that you have zero intention of purchasing is definitely a d**k move, I am with you there. It certainly slows down the process and getting cards to people who actually want them. However, unless you're a scalper, purchasing more than one card (be it for friends, brother/sister, son/daughter, etc.) isn't reprehensible at all imo. You had the exact same opportunity to queue up for that card that they did, and if it is going to a gamer in need then what is so wrong? I am sure you would happily accept the card if you had a friend or family member who offered to purchase one for you.

Global chip shortage affecting all industries, whether GPUs, home appliances or cars. Coupled with record level demand. But ok. Try logging out and back into EVGA again. Seen the notify page bug before and that always fixes it.

Dude, in your signature you have 15 card notifies listed. Are you actually intending on purchasing one of every single SKU? Are you actually going to buy a 3090 hybrid given the chance? Or what if the 3070 XC3 pops first, is that actually what you want?

Let's back this up, who do you think the "such big company" is that actually makes these cards is? I'll give you a hint, it's not EVGA. It is not Nvidia. Nvidia is just a customer of them, and they are in line just like Ford, Microsoft and Sony.
