Longest 15 minutes of my life. Ill take whatever I can get but hoping for this one although, given how well priced it is, I expect i am further back in the line then my time may suggest.

Direct experience, I have two of these pieces of crap and the worst performing card is the Hydro Copper card.

That was way early in the thread, before I knew these cards have issues. Now that I own two of them I can say stay away from the 3080 Ti XC3 cards. I do have a FTW3 and that card is a beast.

This is how bad the 3080 Ti XC3 cards are. I am going to give EVGA my more expensive 3080 Ti XC3 Hydro Copper for a cheaper (cost wise) 3080 Ti FTW3.
 

 
I also put my other piece of crap 3080 Ti XC3 card into Step-Up that I spent extra money on to put a Hybrid cooler on it.

Yesterday my 2060 bsod and then would crash when launching games.  Looks like the memory might be toast, have to underclock mem -500 so it doesn't artifact or crash.  Pretty rough coming down from no OC.  Messaged support with my test essay and we'll see where that goes.  During debugging I randomly checked b-stock and saw the 2080S there, and as my coupon also expires tomorrow along with the 2060 issues, I ordered it.  Saved more than double the shipping and tax, so I'm pretty happy.  I look to be a few months+ out on an queue card anyway.

Pretty solid outcome and just in time.  Best of luck with the new gpu!

Thanks!  It feels pretty great to get a GPU that was out of reach not long ago.  The timing of it all still has me perplexed though.
