Strongly recommends not to switch and then magically finds two months worth of 3070s for people who switched, great job !  Everyone should switch back to the kr series now.

"Two months worth"

You really have no idea how this works. It's about how many timestamps were in that two month period. There could have been five, or there could have been 50. We don't know.

and then they find kl's
but I am done
They will address it or not.

Back to the kingpin hybrid. I am #26 hoping for a few more to drop today.

BTW what happens if I drop from #26 and go to #50 oh yeah that is right it is an incomplete list.
The problem is not the list. But now I feel that EVGA can simply say 20, 30, 40 ,50 are at # 25 just ahead of me at # 26

This is not about me it is about everyone on this list and of course on the HC list.

So this is the list as of today 11:27am ET

Ugh waiting since September and now this... My 3897 shipped almost two weeks ago and it's been stuck with UPS in some kind of "emergency" that it doesn't give any details on. They have been super helpful fortunately and opened a claim and are looking into what exactly the emergency is. They advised me to contact EVGA as well to discuss any options they may be able to give me. I know it's not EVGA's problem, but maybe they'll be able to give me some insight.

I have images in my head of some Fast and the Furious style heist once they found out my 3080 was on the truck.

The emergency is that a UPS worker is busy playing in 4K @ 144fps on your card.

It'll be interesting watching this transition play out. It's possible that everyone got moved to the KL queue and one person, who happened to have a queue date 2 months later, moved to the KR queue and got the one KR card that EVGA found in inventory (could even be straggler drops). So if you had a queue date prior to that other person and had switched then perhaps you could have snagged that KR card assuming someone with an earlier queue date hadn't also switched queues.

It seems like it's fighting for scraps if you switch back to KR. The finite amount of inventory left to support that queue means you take your chances entering the KR Thunderdome that someone with an earlier queue time didn't also enter and hoover up the last of those cards ending your chances of ever getting anything from that SKU. The safe bet is the queue where inventory is continually being added because then it's just back to the waiting game.

But yeah, switch to the KR queues so I can get my KL cards sooner. I guess I need to update the SKUs in my sig...

What I do know is that they found more cards despite telling people another story. It could have been 1 card or 1000, point is , its  poor business ethics in my opinion, you automatically switch a product and advise people to stay with that said product. Then all of a sudden , people are skipped because they followed what was suggested in the email while others who signed up months after received their notifications. As I said , everyone should switch back the KR

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2021/06/30 08:44:10 (permalink)
nah it is on ebay for 2K

along with 125+ 3767 3070 ftw3  cards at 1200 or so.

And if you go back a few dozen pages you can read here in this thread I was clocking the 3070 3767 ftw3 on ebay it had 30-60 available. it now has 125

so pleaseee .  I know wrong and while I will never be able to prove that they moved 50+ cards to a scalper I can easily prove they skipped me and others ahead of me.  Heck I was 2/7/2021 the kl list goes back to 12/1/2020

So all of December and all of Jan was skipped and some of Feb.

As I said I am waiting on the kingpin hybrid.

But this
smells like a duck
walks like a duck
quacks like a duck.

The last thing I wanted is to see a foul up like this.  Have been here since OCT 2020. Some have been here since Sept 2020
And a feb 16 2021 gets cards .  And the ebay list of that card for sale jumps from 30-60 to 125 +

That is pretty funny, I imagine the UPS driver doing a complete burn in test for you, maybe even making sure it will mine some crypto, just as another layer of quality control before it gets to you.

This is a problem worth stressing over.  Have had too many delivery issues like this in the last two years.  Would pay extra to have evga hand deliver a card sealed in a steel briefcase that only I have the combination to.

They have to make sure it is fully operational. Kidding aside...knowing my luck, if it was me, the card would have been crushed by some equipment, or fell down a hole never to be seen again until the warehouse gets renovated. I'm wishing you good luck you get it sorted sooner rather than later. Make them buy you a new card, even if its from a scalper. this isn't your fault!

They never said that there "100%" wouldn't be more KR cards and RECOMMENDED you stay in the KL queue as stock wasn't guaranteed. My point is that your first post made it seem like the found a large cache of KR cards. And they most certainly did not. If it was 1,000... it's the biggest single drop of RTX cards in the history of this shortage. I would be surprised if it were even 50. Hell, I would be surprised if it were more than 20.

Yes, it was a launch day queue that seemed to disappear instantly. Seems a few people got some initially.

That's a pretty good time. Hopefully it moves better than the XC3 Ultra queue has. Even if it does, you'll get one in the first couple of drops, likely the first.

Oh Boy...there are certainly interesting developments in the Land of Queues this morning.  I don't think I can add anything that hasn't already been added.  I have received three cards though the system (passed on the fourth).  It works.  The transition does seem slightly fumbled.

Enewt's daily update sheet is starting to look like an Eye Chart that's initiating my migraine tremors.  47 line items...

bnr32jason's predicament would send me apoplectic.

Three cards? **** seriously, worst kind of queue-er and one of the major issues with the queue system.

Most of us are still waiting for our first card and you are collecting a pile

I really don't get how people are so angry, like they're waiting for a kidney or a heart transplant.
Holy cow, kids - it's such a first world problem, waiting on a pricey piece of tech equipment to become available after a perfect storm of circumstances cause a shortage.

I'm perfectly content to use my old 1660 & wait in these queues or until I can walk into MicroCenter or Best Buy and pick one up.

It ain't life or death, is it.

Everyone knows the queue achieved perfection before April 2021, it's a scientific fact.  Since then, there have been a series of missteps and gaffes, along with many more eyes on EVGA.  So, unfortunately, I think they have effectively upset their loyal fanbase (who I deem anyone who gave a flying fart before Everyone's "Elite" Early Access) while also bobbling some of the stuff that affects the come-latelys too.

I still love you guys, EVGA, and you still have my loyalty... but stop with the shenanigans and just do your best to get cards into the hands of real people.

My sincerest apologies...I was not expecting them to pull the rug out.  I hope folks managed despite my error.

All good, we'll survive. Thanks for all the help you give us!

Many of us signed up for as many cards as we can when we found out when they released last year. I too as well got 3 cards from the queue.  I signed for both the 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid on Dec 16 at 9am and 3080 XC3 Ultra Hybrid on Dec 10 at 9am.  Got on the lists early like within the first 5 min. Signed up for the 3070 FTW3 Ultra back on release day in November.  If you get on the lists early, you will get the card.  4th card coming up will be the 3080ti FTW3 Ultra Hybrid as i am less than 2 min away in that queue.

Granted, I myself kept the 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid and then sold all the other cards i got in the queue for the price i got them for from EVGA to the friends that needed cards for their gaming rigs. 3080ti Hybrid going to go to another homie for his first PC build.

I dont understand the whole KR, KL thing. Everyone seems to be complaining about the switch. If we are gamers and not miners, were not affected in anyway. Am I missing something?

Many of us are gamers that let the card pay for itself when not gaming. Was/is a nice little benefit.

What if there is no more KR? That could be the left overs, and they will only produce KL in the future.

Pretty much this. I've been buying cards primarily for other people (commission PC builds for friends and clients).
So far from my queue I've gotten: 3755-KR, 3657-KR, 3967-KR (for me), and 3797-KL. I've also had a friend give up their 3897-KR spot for one of my clients, as they no longer needed it.
Queue's working pretty great, so long as you got in early-ish on the models they were still producing. My results have been worse-off on other places (2 from Shuffle, 1 Amazon, 1 Best Buy).
