Not to complain but I think I should be offered a card this one
the 3767-kr
My date was 2/7/2021. My time was 4:40:36 PT
they forced me to the kl and told me not to switch back to the kr
I really think that was the worst thing they could possibly do.
I have purchased from this company since 2012 I am really annoyed that this was done to me.
As far as I am concerned this is as bad as it gets.
I am not the only one.
If they have any kr 3060ti or 3070 I would like it. To make up for this. (Not free just pay the msrp)
this is pretty much s......g a card from me. I would have the kr on the way if not for what they did here.
How many people did they do this to besides me?
The people who switched back to KR took a big gamble and a few of them won the lottery. That doesn't mean someone 2 months down the KL list should skip ahead of the others who also got switched. Everyone had the chance to take that risk. And it is a risk, because we won't see many KR cards again.

This KR vs KL salt is really annoying.
You got an email, you were offered a choice to switch back at a risk. Some people took the risk and got rewarded. I'm sure many more took the risk and will not get the card because they will run out. You didn't get skipped, you weren't even in the same line.
They literally said not to switch in the email because there wouldnt be stock (removed) edit by Cool GTX (removed)

They did this to everyone, except those who chose to switch back right away. Then they pushed through the KR list of switchers almost immediately... so those people who switched were able to jump the line. Basically a new KR sub-queue fast pass.
It was a bad plan.
The whole point of a queue was killed by this. my date was 2/7/2021 and they are now on 2/16/2021 I did not move myself they did. I want that card. everyone should be screaming in caps since they can do this to each and every card on the queue. move you to a new list and say do not go back to the old list and then skip you. What is that? I have been here on lists since October. many lists. Your February date is 2 months behind the current queue position. What are you going to do, insist that YOU get a KR card even though you didn't switch back to the KR queue when you had the chance? Switch to KR now then and enjoy not getting a card anyway. They took the risk and got lucky, you didn't and now want to throw a fit?

Please note that EVGA strongly recommends against opting out, because there is no ETA for availability and no guarantee that your order will be fulfilled for your original part number. Moreover, once you opt out, you may neither request to be placed back in the queue for 08G-P5-3767-KL, nor request an order notification for 08G-P5-3767-KL; you may only be in one queue at a time.
This is the email from evga. They obviously had cards on hand so me being in queue since december and then advising not to then people in February getting cards makes me pretty damn mad

They recommended not to switch as they would not have much stock, yes. That doesn't mean they told you not to. They're not going to draft an email for every specific person in the queue and give them a personalized estimate of their probability based on their position int he queues. You get to make the choice, they give you the option. Get over it.

No you are not correct it is not about making a long shot gamble. you were lifted off the list and let me give a clear example of what can happen I am on the list for any kr card. I am months away from a call. I know I get 8 hours if the call for that card comes. So I check my emails every 6 hours I get an email saying I was lifted and EVGA gives out 20days on the the old card. They do it under the 8 hour time slot. In fact they do it 5 hours after I got the email. The 3767 'mistake' means they could do what I just said for every kr card left. They need to fix the 3767 'mistake' they need to change the procedure and not strip you off the list and then give you an option back in. In fact I specifically asked about this this thread and the queue thread is where to ask and no one gave me an answer. I will go back and look for the post. As I am kind of really upset. Everyone should be upset. Since they have altered the integrity of the queue. Look it is not transparent which I get but pulling me off a list and telling me not to go back to the list. No so good. This situation is annoying, yes, but this is their house, their rules. They don't need to do a damn thing. Just like they don't need to have a queue system at all. Please, settle down folks. It's not worth the agita.

Yep simmer down. Be happy that EVGA even cares enough to have a queue for us. There will always be issues. There will always be winners and losers. Life is too short.

What happens in the following case. they have 100 kr cards come in. say the 3883. which has a 09/16/2020 date. they know that two or three scalpers have many listed for the 9/16/2020 date. They strip everybody off the list and kl them. the scalpers opt back in and they get sent the 100 cards all within 1 hour of the notice of the 3883 switch to kl. I can't believe that evga did this. It is worse than I can imagine and I kind of think anyone attempting to defend this really should step back as it is not to be defended. Evga should just say they screwed up and effort a correction. It is not about kr or kl. it is about being skipped over. the kl list is now at 12/1/2020 and the kr list is now at 2/16/202 for me personally I want kr cards but I certainly want the queues to maintain their order and place. it is not about oh they took a gamble and were lucky no it is about evga damaging the concept of a queue. Why list on the queue when they can lift you off your place in line and skip over you. all of you staying on the kl you were moved to they can do it to you.

I am posting here for all of you in the queue for all the other cards that they can do it to . personally I don't need that card. Of course I would take it, but right now there are. 3883-kr 3753-kr 3665-kr 3751-kr 3898-kr 3888-kr 3899-kr 3889-kr any of them can switch to kl and suppose the kr jumps 50 days really fast oh well and suppose they get 3897-kl 3885-kl 3767-kl 3755-kl 3667-kl 3663-kl 3881-kl and switch all the kl back to kr and issue the kl skipping over those that did not change the kl they could why not. Look they f'd up on so far just the 3767-kr and the 3767-kl only one card. they need to effort to do a fix. Why trust the queue any more. until they fix it or at least say we f'd up Back to the kingpin hybrid I am #26 on the list hoping to snare that card and leave the thread. maybe some drop today.

This KR vs KL salt is really annoying.
You got an email, you were offered a choice to switch back at a risk. Some people took the risk and got rewarded. I'm sure many more took the risk and will not get the card because they will run out. You didn't get skipped, you weren't even in the same line.
They literally said not to switch in the email because there wouldnt be stock.
Nope, it literally recommends against it because "there is no ETA for availability and no guaranteee that your order will be fulfilled for your original part number". "No guarantee" doesn't mean it won't happen. And the name calling is totally uncalled for.
