let's hope some EU movements this week
I am waiting for 9 months in EU and only signs I see like today "UK’s financial watchdog has banned leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance from all regulated activities" so in couple months there will be plenty cards on the market and plus crypto ban in China.
im going to 11 months of queue for the first notify, 4 months for a "first minute" notify for a 3060 so im feeling you, i think in the end we will buy it elsewhere seeing the price dropping

It's true but it will lower the crazy prices and companies like EVGA will be dealing with massive amount of warranty card exchange.

Not that i think the 3070 was discontinued, but it being for sale by a 3rd party scalper on newegg is not any proof otherwise. Newegg has a marketplace attached to it just like Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. Not everything on their site is sold by them.

I will not buy a LHR card. Why risk lower resale later? 3090 is much better potential value than a 3080TI.

Well you are in my group. It is a lesser card. With lots of possible issues yet to be discovered.

Any consumer should try their best to avoid an LHR card if they have a choice. Just purposefully tanks the resale value later if they decide they don't want it anymore. Unfortunately I don't think most of us have a choice.

Only effects Etheruem which is switching away from GPU driven mining anyway. Plenty of mining can be done on an LHR card if you really want to. I doubt many people actually care about resale value anyway. I still have every video card I ever bought. Maybe I should put my MX2, dual 260s and 570 up on ebay.

True. But then again when has ethereum ever hit any timeline they have made? Very fortunate to not have to worry about resale value. I'm not so fortunate and worry about it everything I buy. Throw your boy some chedda ;) Edit: It would be friggin awesome to have some kind of display in the game room of old cards. Maybe an intriguing idea for you?

I would guess, EU queue gets the scraps of the scraps of the scrapped scrap: Retail Contracts / Suppliers > Pre-built Mfgs / System Builders > US RMAs > US Queues > US Step-ups > EU Stuff... Might be a little out of order or missing something, but I am pretty sure EU is last in line regardless. Sucks, but c'est la vie.
