LHR = Lite hash rate = cards built to have half rate on ethereum mining. KL = LHR cards. KR was the original suffix on the part numbers for the cards, but every line of cards EXCEPT the 3090 will be switched over to KL. There's literally no difference in performance for gaming and other uses. As far as finding how close you are, enewt's list is what you want to look at as he updates it daily.

My 3881 went to KL in the queue as well. That is a promising sign that SKU is not dead in the long term.

KR modules are likely on secondary priority now, both KR and KL models should co-exist briefly, but KR will stop production soon.

No, I believe they are discontinuing KR for the codes they are moving to KL so I would not recommend that.
Agreed. I doubt those -KRs are going to see much volume other than maybe a last remnant drop today (doubtful, but there is a chance; more likely is that the -KL drops will commence over the next 24 hours or so).
