I've been on the list of the 3080 FTW since December, but that doesn't seems to be getting anywhere, so i wanted to jump on the 3080Ti.
Unfortunately, while i was registered on the forum for quite a few years and had four generations of pretty solid EVGA graphics cards, (GTX8800 GTS 512 with life time warranty, GTX 285, GTX590 classified, and GTX 780 super clocked), My last build was done on an Gigabyte motherboard and I got their Aorus 1080Ti. so i had no recent EVGA purchases and not enough posts for the Elite.
On 3rd in the afternoon I tried to bring my post count high enough to get into the Elite, in the general discussion forum, but i was posting from the phone and my forum account got locked out until today, when i got back to the gaming rig. so I missed the Elite all together.
Yeah, Elite isn't elite. They would have a lot less forum spam if they just had a checkbox saying "I want access to the 24 hr exclusive signup". :-) I've been buying EVGA for the last decade, but because my last two years of GPU purchases were gifts, and not for myself, I didn't qualify. I refuse to spam the forum to get to 100 posts to claim Elite status. Same with watching some Twitch stream. To me, Elite is product purchase, not social media tricks.

Im thrilled I got a card, but on the other hand, I see brand new members getting 40% off, plus associate's code, which did NOT work for me. (Evga Notified me there was NOTHING they could do) ... Then there is me, a member since 2008 who has purchased 22 GPU's, 12 Motherboards, 2 Power Supplies, 2 CPU, AIO Coolers, and a DG-86 Case, All from EVGA. And my total checkout price was $1532.69 for my RTX 3080ti FTW3 Ultra (3 day UPS shipping)...Kind of upsets me a bit, for being a long time, loyal member.....
Sorry, but not setting real good with me right now......... I work for a small, Wireless ISP company. And our main focus is Customer Service, above and beyond anything else! Ya know why? Its because the way we got this way in the first place was one thing, and one thing only! THE LOYAL CUSTOMER! Its the very one thing that companies always, and I mean, ALWAYS forget when they become large and successful. EVGA has never turned there back on me like this, and it just kind of hurts to see them do this I guess....But, Like always, I will learn my lesson and move on I guess...
Life isn't always fair. That's the only lesson to be learned here. I became an elite member not two weeks before the "spin the wheel" bs was announced, so I didn't even get a shot at 5% off, much less 40%. Oh well.

Me threeth!! I remember getting elite, and not two weeks later folks were talking about some mystical wheel to spin for a free T-shirt or possibly a BIG discount on whatever they purchased, including a GPU. Of course I wish I could have had a chance to spin that wheel, but at the same time, I'm happy some people got a great deal on a card, or a shirt, or a discount on a power supply. Some people spun the wheel and got a discount, but never hit their time in the queue before their discount coupon expired. I feel especially bad for them - to have the discount and not be able to use it? Ouch!! Negativity out of the way, here's to a TUESDAY QUEUESDAY!! Wishing you all the best.

I see all this talk about elite members getting a spin for discounts. I have been an elite member for a few months and I do not remember a spin for discount. Is there a link to get to this so I can see about getting my discount? Or to see if I already did the spin and forgot?

Honestly, the continued "EVGA bad because ..." posts are getting ridiculous.
The coupons started when they started. The queue opened when it opened. The global shortage happened and EVGA responded as best they could. Nothing is perfect and, as someone else noted, the ducks that didn't get the bread always quack the loudest.

Couldn't agree more. I'm just happy to be here, happy to have a place in queue, and happy to have learned about the program in the first place (got my free shirt from the spin and was stoked). I'm honestly pretty addicted to watching the forum move and watching the queue times trickle in. Makes the work day go by faster. I've purchased EVGA products for years but I've never used the forums or registered a new product until this year. I've lived within 10 minutes of a Micro Center for the past 10 years for quick purchases and replacements so I've never needed to order much online otherwise I would have likely been here sooner. Looking forward to more movement today!

Why are you hating on newer members, We all want a GPU and this is our only chance, I've used EVGA before, my first real GPU was their 1080 classified edition, and funnily enough my only one so far, its not like I dont use their stuff and am only here for the 30 series.

Companies are in the business of making money, i'm not sure why anyone would think they do things out of the goodness of their hearts. Especially any publicly traded company who has to report to their investors.

Yeah, the 3070 Ti isn't until June 10th. When we say "drops" we are hoping that EVGA drops more notification emails to people so they can purchase cards they've previously queued for (including the 3080 Ti), and then they can "drop" them off at UPS so people receive their new shiny RTX cards!
