I've been on the list of the 3080 FTW since December, but that doesn't seems to be getting anywhere, so i wanted to jump on the 3080Ti. Unfortunately, while i was registered on the forum for quite a few years and had four generations of pretty solid EVGA graphics cards, (GTX8800 GTS 512 with life time warranty, GTX 285, GTX590 classified, and GTX 780 super clocked), My last build was done on an Gigabyte motherboard and I got their Aorus 1080Ti. so i had no recent EVGA purchases and not enough posts for the Elite. On 3rd in the afternoon I tried to bring my post count high enough to get into the Elite, in the general discussion forum, but i was posting from the phone and my forum account got locked out until today, when i got back to the gaming rig. so I missed the Elite all together. Anyway. Im thrilled I got a card, but on the other hand, I see brand new members getting 40% off, plus associate's code, which did NOT work for me. (Evga Notified me there was NOTHING they could do) ... Then there is me, a member since 2008 who has purchased 22 GPU's, 12 Motherboards, 2 Power Supplies, 2 CPU, AIO Coolers, and a DG-86 Case, All from EVGA. And my total checkout price was $1532.69 for my RTX 3080ti FTW3 Ultra (3 day UPS shipping)...Kind of upsets me a bit, for being a long time, loyal member.....
Sorry, but not setting real good with me right now......... I work for a small, Wireless ISP company. And our main focus is Customer Service, above and beyond anything else! Ya know why? Its because the way we got this way in the first place was one thing, and one thing only! THE LOYAL CUSTOMER! Its the very one thing that companies always, and I mean, ALWAYS forget when they become large and successful. EVGA has never turned there back on me like this, and it just kind of hurts to see them do this I guess....But, Like always, I will learn my lesson and move on I guess...
Life isn't always fair. That's the only lesson to be learned here. I became an elite member not two weeks before the "spin the wheel" bs was announced, so I didn't even get a shot at 5% off, much less 40%. Oh well.

Tax and shipping 1536?! Damn. I could buy a laptop with 3060 for less.
Thank god they did not get to me yet. Had time to get to my senses.Thats absurd price. Got a long while before I must decide, but the gap in ordering time is working against EVGA here.

A rep on Twitter said they are all out. Unsure if they were talking specifically about the SKU someone asked about or all 3080 Ti cards, but I'm assuming it's all of them. They went on to say they'll hopefully get more later in the week. It's possible some movement will happen tomorrow or the next day, like when they review orders to remove cards from suspected bots and offer them to the next in line, but I wouldn't count on that happening to many folks. Probably just have to wait for later in the week (hopefully). A bit vague, but you really only have to check your email a few times a day to be safe. They don't send notifications on weekends or during the night (PT), and you have an eight hour window - lookup official information to be sure. @geforce Did you get an error or something when trying to use an associate code? Did they give any reason why it didn't work or explain why they couldn't give you a partial refund or credit? 3% isn't much, but I'd still like to save a tiny amount of money if I can.

Shipping is shipping, but I believe you'd pay tax on the reduced price of the card (so, in a sense, the Associate’s Code reduces your taxes...).

Personally, I have started to define "fair" as "ducks and bread" (again credit Mitch Hedburg), if a duck gets bread, the duck feels it's fair, if the duck doesn't, then it's unfair. I have been able to apply this to most situations over the last few years where people have issue with one system or another... Queue gets us a card, it's great, if not, it's unfair. Government gives money to me, completely fair, not me, terribly unfair. Our opinion of something inevitably isn't objective, it boils down to "ducks and bread". So, am I a salty bread-less duck because I've been Elite for 5+ years, only to see come-latelys clog up the queues and get wheel-spin discounts to boot??? Well, no because that's just unfair EVGA ;) I love to see people getting cards the last few days, I hope they are keeping them or at minimum selling them to a needy friend at cost. Good luck and fast queues, y'all!

+100 EVGA so far is the only company that did so, seriously all other vendors should learn how to handle their clients, If we had the same queue system with each other company it would have been less hectic I guess, but EVGA so far is the best vendor who handled this ongoing issue efficiently.

dont think so ... heard and read that soon even the little things (like small controllers needed on PCBs) will be missing ... so it will probably get worse the upcoming months
