Wow, thanks for the changes, I was able to get a FTW3 ordered using the email notification.  I usually am too slow.

Yeah keep checking, I missed mine since they sent it out so late. Just called customer service and they said there is nothing they can do...

You have 8 hours to buy the card, you could get away with checking it only every 4 hours and only need to do it during normal work hours west coast time. Or just turn on notifications on your phone that'll do it to.

I got the email for mine at 5:59 PM PST on a friday night. I was asleep half an hour earlier. Figured there was no way that could come. My mistake.

That sucks man. I guess in this instance the early bird doesn't get the worm.

Fair enough, and yeah I agree there's a lot of it. If you care to look back through the thread, I have posted a number of times how people can add themselves, but the requests continue. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  
 
With all due respect, this thread is specifically about the notification checkouts, so clearly this is the best place for this info. If you want to talk about bots and methods of stopping them, there are plenty of threads in the main 30 series forum which are more specific on discussing that subject.
 

I agree that the servicing of add requests does help from an informational standpoint and my point in mentioning it was that it seemed to be overwhelming the thread. I actually do appreciate all the effort your putting in.
 
Thanks for the info on other threads about stopping bots. My bad for not searching for them. I guess I was just concerned about the upcoming 3070 launch and I’m really hoping it will go a lot better than the other new product launches so far this year.
 
On the topic here, any more updates on how far we have gotten on the 3090 FTW3 Ultra queue emails? Sitting at position 64 in the unofficial spreadsheet last time I checked...

I'm 9/16 for the XC3 Black AND Gaming. I feel like my late notify of 10/8 for the FTW Ultra and XC3 Ultra will come before those XC3s.......

I'm in exactly the same boat. I'm like 24 or something on the list for the 3080 XC3 Black, and the 3090 XC3 Black. Just today, I was like, well, I guess I might as well notify for the XC3 Ultra cards too, maybe I'll get lucky and get those sooner. I don't understand why there are like 0 Black/gaming cards made. Like, they made a SKU, put some pics on the website, with the intent of making them in 6 months?

I have total regret not pushing notify on all of them, I'm also 9/16 for the 3080 xc3 black. I only submitted the notify for the 3080 and 3090 xc3 black. I don't see them bothering with the xc black when the profit margins for the ftw ultra and xc3 ultras are better and the demand is definitely there. 

People keep saying the profits are better on the ultras, but I'm not convinced of that. To me, even if the per card margins are more on the ultras, I'd expect you to sell 3X as many blacks or something, since they are ~$100 less. Plus, the blacks have no backplate, and vanilla everything else - seems like they'd be the cheapest to manufacture. Maybe it's just because there's so much demand, the people that can't get the XC3 black, are just going to spend the extra money anyway and go ultra. which is fair, because it's exactly what I'm going to try to do haha
