@Nereus - Most here I don't think have a problem with what you are doing, I personally think it's cool to help people and I hope you get rewarded with associate code purchases, they should reward you for all this help. I think the majority of frustration is from people who added themselves to the sheet themselves early and have been paying attention through this whole process, just trying to score a card. They thought, the queue is moving slowly, but... I am #150, so that's not that bad. Fast forward 3 weeks in and their positions are just getting worse and worse daily, actually losing ground, now they are #300. They are losing ground to those who cannot bother to add themselves to a spreadsheet, and what's worse, those who have only decided to be involved 3 weeks in. The reality is, no one is losing any ground by late adds to the spreadsheet, it only feels that way because the true size of the queue sets in. The people who signed up on 9/17 are the people who signed up on 9/17. The important information is the last date/time in each sku that an email was sent. If everyone, both early and late sheet entries would focus on this vs supposed queue position, there would be a lot less frustration everywhere. Good luck and fast queues to all.

Gigabyte/Aorus did a queue system for their Discord and Facebook followers first before selling the Aorus Extreme 3080 to the public. EVGA, while thoughtful, didn’t go further the way Gigabyte is going right now by going directly to their main hardcore fans first on Discord to make sure they stay Aorus loyal.
Discord members, high posters in forums, active in their Twitch streams, etc. You’d think they’d want to maintain those loyal fans and now losing them to whatever card they can get their hands on.

You need to provide card number/type. You can find out where and how to use the spreadsheet here.

Thanks, and all true - the queue is static, it's only awareness of your position in it that isn't.

You don't really have to. What you want to do is occasionally pop in to see when people post what timestamp they were when they get their email from EVGA.

As far as from EVGA yes, but posting on the forum that you got your email with your timestamp from notify actually eases the mind of everyone keeping an eye on this thread that the list is moving.

The biggest bummer in all of this is that the spreadsheet isn't really a great indicator because most people have seemed to sign up for every single SKU. Not just the one that they intend to buy. I see "add me.." and then multiple if not every single 30 series SKU listed. I'm pretty sure people don't plan on buying all of them (Nor should they be able to at this point, but EVGA for some reason allows it). It makes it seem like you are much farther down the list than you actually might be. No way to know really. Unless people not only remember to remove the notify for other cards after they bought theirs, and then remember to update the spreadsheet with the fact that they removed. If people can't even figure out how to add themselves to a simple spreadsheet what are the chances they add that the notify was removed? Or the chance they come back to this thread to ask to have the remove info added? Like zero. I have yet to see please add remove my notify information.

You have 8 hours to buy the card, you could get away with checking it only every 4 hours and only need to do it during normal work hours west coast time. Or just turn on notifications on your phone that'll do it to.

The associate program and the affiliate/rewards program are two different things. The associate program is a great idea, just be aware if you sign up for an associate code yourself, you can no longer use someone elses code to get a discount on your own purchases, so you have to choose which you think is better for you - getting discounts on your purchases, or getting a few EVGA Bucks whenever someone uses your code but not getting discounts yourself. You can't turn it on and off either - once you've joined and then you decide to remove yourself from the program, you can't join back up again later. The affiliate/rewards program is a different program altogether. Anyone can sign up for that. When someone registers their EVGA product, if they use your rewards/affiliate code, you get 2 EVGA Bucks. That's it. You can't use your own code, and nor can anyone who lives at the same address as you.

I'm using the queue as a representation. Comparing the 3090 XC3 Ultra to the FTW Ultra list gives me hope that there isn't as much interest and therefore I'm more likely to get a card quicker. Really wish there was a way for the queue system to give us general info such as the latest notification date or expected ETAs.

It does give the latest notification (email sent) date.. go to the spreadsheet tab for the specific card for that info. At present, no cards have gone out for a number of models, but if you look at the 3080 and 3090 FTW3 Ultra tabs you'll see where people have updated when they received the email from EVGA to purchase. This is the primary reason for the spreadsheet - not only to know where you are placed in the queue, but also where in the queue EVGA has reached in fulfilling the orders.

Nereus What is interesting is that Celeras commented on that separate thread that THIS thread should be the one we use, and not that separate thread, and that I created that thread purely to spam associate codes (again, I created it because this one was locked). Now he is here saying the exact opposite. Speaks volumes doesn't it. I'll consider stopping helping people with this if it's causing a problem, but considering the title and content of this thread, I doubt the requests will stop.
What can I say? You spam a lot lol. Every post is doubled up because you feel the need to quote them and post your link again. It's all good, the moderators say you're allowed to do that. It just makes it difficult to read and answer people with actual questions. justin_43 The biggest bummer in all of this is that the spreadsheet isn't really a great indicator because most people have seemed to sign up for every single SKU. Not just the one that they intend to buy. I see "add me.." and then multiple if not every single 30 series SKU listed. It's not really intended to tell you what number you are, just a ballpark of where the queue is currently situated. People went crazy with it because of all the spam shoved down their throats. Can't really blame the new people who just show up and see 100 other people saying "add me"... they're just following along. It will die down eventually so we can get back to business as usual. Really hoping to see some non-ultra models for you early birds on the regular XC3 today
If I helped you in some way, or you just think I'm awesome.. please use my associate code! It gives you a discount

I'm at 9/17 7:07:31 AM (early-ish bird?) for an XC3 Gaming. I thought we were only getting XC3 Ultras this week, but it would be a pleasant surprise to see more down the stack.

tbh I don't mind which one I get I just know that I wont be getting any 3080 anytime soon I know a lot of people have to feel the same good luck to everyone though loving the work being done with the spreadsheet to give a general idea of where we stand.

justin_43 The biggest bummer in all of this is that the spreadsheet isn't really a great indicator because most people have seemed to sign up for every single SKU. Not just the one that they intend to buy. I see "add me.." and then multiple if not every single 30 series SKU listed.
I understand that. It's just nowhere near as accurate as it could be. I just wish EVGA would publish the real list (not gonna happen I know). And I don't know if we will see a lot of XC3 until the hype dies down. EVGA obviously makes a lot more for FTW3 so it makes sense for them to ship those mostly. Most chips should be able to reach FTW3 clocks so if it can, they will sell it as such in this market. In past launches when availability was much better models of all tiers were flowing much more easily. I'd be curious to see OC results from bottom tier cards this time around.

I did see somewhere on the forums that they expect some XC3 models to roll out this week. Here's hoping.

I agree with you, just being optimistic A lot of people think they BIN the ultras/etc and are waiting for the "lesser" ones... but if I recall correctly only Kingpin chips are actually BIN'd. There's literally zero reason for eVGA to actually release the others as theyre the exact same batch, but I still hope they do!
If I helped you in some way, or you just think I'm awesome.. please use my associate code! It gives you a discount
