I cringed hard at the doofy "Here's how to get a 24hr head start in the queue!" articles in PCGamer, etc knowing that it was just a big ole call for people to start spamming.  If EVGA is serious about rewarding previous customers, they should have locked that down since now it's only hurting more casual customers and the bots/scalpers aren't going to be affected at all (helped, really, since there's less casuals in their way).

Is that old enough?

My guess is that the original idea was to look for people who HAVE bothered with the forums, helped other people, etc. Now I am not sure what they are going for.

PR and an attempt to get new long term customers. Might backfire if they are not careful tho.

I had one of those, but I don't remember who made it.  The oldest EVGA I can probably get my hands on is a 460. :-)

Yeah, you guys all beat me. xD My first EVGA was a 1080 Ti... But to be fair, I was a child up until that point so I didn't really have any other options. lol

Was hoping they would offer folks who had been waiting over 6 months to upgrade, to a new SKU, but that seems to beyond Marketing.
We just will play F5 Battle Royal again.   :)
 

I signed up for 3888 on 12/14, I thought "no, I don't want to be greedy, I'll let someone else sign up for 3898 :)". I'd have probably had my card ages ago if I did ;-;

Per Techspot.com, Samsung will be releasing a new laptop in August featuring an RTX 3050. I guess Samsung can grab the chips right off the production line

Editor's take: Samsung as part of its latest Galaxy Unpacked event has unveiled the world’s first gaming laptop packing Nvidia’s new RTX 3050 series graphics cards. Curiously enough, Samsung spent very little time discussing the Galaxy Book Odyssey during its Unpacked event, despite it seeming to be one of its more interesting new products.

The Galaxy Book Odyssey ships with a 15.6-inch TFT LCD display operating at resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 that’s driven by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, up to 32GB of DDR4X memory and up to 2TB of NVMe SSD storage.
The real star of the show, however, is the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 and 3050 Ti Max-Q graphics cards. Aside from a single infographic, however, that’s really all the company has said about it thus far. Nvidia hasn’t even formally announced the 3050 as of this writing.
 
Other Galaxy Book Odyssey features gleaned from the infographic include Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, a 720p HD webcam, Dolby Atmos audio support and an 83Wh battery. Buyers also get two USB-Type C ports, three USB 3.2 ports, an HDMI connection, a 3.5mm headphone / mic jack, a microSD card slot and an Ethernet jack.
Samsung said the Galaxy Book Odyssey will be available in select markets this August starting at $1,399. No word yet on whether or not it'll be available in the US.
