Jbarillaro Thank you enewt for keeping up with the queue. Makes waiting a whole lot easier than being completely in the dark.
Thank you for the kind words; they are appreciated!

sabk11 Looks like a pretty slow start to the day. Yesterday's movement gave me hope on the 3897. I'm 6 days away but who knows how long that will take. I have a feeling if the queue can get past the 21st things will move a bit faster.
Yeah it turned out to be a bummer of a day. I'm surprised we didn't even see any straggler reports on the 3897 :/ I bet it's because no one else was yelling Queuesday again today.. :/ Maybe I should have said Weduenesday (I threw in the silent eue behind the silent d - or maybe I threw in the silent ueue from queue.. Which letters in that word are silent anyways? Are any of them? This brings up too many questions about the English language..)

I'm sure there was a straggler drop. I think we will see fewer people reporting back as the queues get further from launch day. The people who got in on the queues early tend to be more serious about wanting a card and are more plugged in as far as information goes. Just look at the ratio of how many cards go out vs. how many people respond. The 3897 is a little more popular, but the 3898 for example only gets a small handful of responses whenever there is a drop. Sure, not very many cards go out when there is a 3898 drop, but I only see maybe 3-4 responses. So, 3-4 people out of what, 200 cards? Even if if's only 100 cards it's still a pretty small %. So, when you get to a straggler drop where you might be talking about a two digit number of cards, the odds of someone reporting here go down quite a bit. edit~ It's probably no less true with the 3897 at this point.

I've been reading the first few pages of this thread because I wanted to know something about being in queue for more than 1 card. Unfortunately, I only saw conflicting answers.. I'm hoping someone might know the definite answer.. I've been in queue for the 3897 since December, but also signed up for the 3655 recently, hoping I could buy one for my younger brother. If ever I get notified for the 3655 earlier than the 3897 and decided to grab it will I be automatically booted from the queue of the 3897? Thank you.

No, you will not. Sign up for any of the cards as you reasonably think you would be willing to purchase. You don't know which queue will get to you first. Good luck!

All queues are separate and do not interact in any way. You can buy ONE card/sku from each queue whenever your turn comes around. So one SKU per person per queue (not one SKU per person and then you get the boot). EDIT: ... but like most folks around here we're signed up for multiple queues because we're willing to buy the first one available but have no intention of buying more than one card. Some folks have stuck around and bought a 2nd or 3rd card for family/friends. Personally I'm just waiting for my 1 to come around.

Heh heh, good one. The 3898 only drops every 4-6 weeks and we "just" had a drop on 4/14. I doubt there will be another one until May. Hopefully early May. I'm only about 160 seconds away from a 3898. I'm a realist though so I figure that translates to July-August.

Thank you for this. I was afraid I might not be able to purchase the 3897 or might have to go back at the end of the line again if ever I decide to purchase the 3655. I have a feeling that the queue for the 3655 will move faster than the 3897.

I understand. I think I'm already too late to sign up for the other cards in the 3080 family so I'll just pass on that, but I'll be signing up for the 3657 since it moved a lot yesterday. Thank you for your answer btw.

stiktisya So... NA just got a pretty big drop of 3060s. According to the Queue Summary it moved 12 minutes reaching 09:52:51. I am glad that you guys can finally get some GPUs at reasonable prices and are not in the mercy of scalpers. But........ Please EVGA, can you send some of the love towards EU? We are still stuck in the first 46 seconds (and for the first 30 the queue form was unreachable). I mean, comparing the spreadsheet for 3060 in NA and EU is just depressing....
Is Europe non existent to EVGA? What the F#CK are they doing??
I think that evga simply does not have enough capacity and production for EU. They still deliver small batches to major retailers in the EU, but it is simply not possible to buy a card through a queue or in a store at "recommended" prices in the EU, к сожалению(

good new for u is that the bottleneck is gone.. first 20 min of the launch is where the choke n crash happened.. n then bestbuy drew people's attention... so you should be getting it pretty soon assuming they still have incoming shipments

The 3600 queues seem to be getting the most action right now. The 3700 is a tweener and doesn't fill much of a niche. I don't really see the point of producing those SKU's. It looks like they are trying to satisfy all price points under 1k and are leaving the decision about value up to the consumer. If someone is already thinking about spending $700-750 on a card, it's best not to **** around. Just get the 3080, even if it means waiting longer. The difference in texture fill rate and bandwidth is pretty big. 43% and 70% respectively when you compare air cooled FTW models. The 3080 will live longer in your rig, long enough to make the extra money worth it.

:/ 2 hours was just enough to give me hope that it will continue today. Microcenter and 3080ti queue it is - I guess. Gonna try to sign up within 10 min of opening, but if the 3060 launch was an indication, i probably should try either at launch or an hour after.

I'm also starting to think that the 3080ti might not be worth it either. Based on the PC Gamer article from yesterday that rumors the launch to be on May 26, it doesn't look like the 3080ti is going to be much better than the 3898. It would make a lot more sense the 3080ti to be closer to the middle in relation to the 3080 and 3090. There is a big jump in price so they have plenty of room to play with. I have been wanting the 3080ti all along, but I'm not going to cancel my auto-notify for a 3898 until the specs for the TI are made public. Hopefully it's not a 12G version of a 3080 that's 5% faster. That would be disappointing, at least imo.

Time to call it for today. Rough, rough day...just three reports of drops for one card. As a reminder, if the 3080 Ti ever launches...for purposes of EVGA's North American queue, EVGA has stated that the first 24 hours the "auto-notify" button is lit...only Elite members will be able to register for the queue (read another way, Elite members will get a 24 hour head start on the 3080 Ti queue). It is fairly easy (and free) to secure Elite status (see the EVGA Elite page). (On behalf of the existing members of the EVGA forums, please don't spam forum posts to get to the requisite 100 posts, rather actively contribute to the forums or, in the alternative, watch the EVGA Twitch streams to secure sufficient "points" to qualify.) Best of luck! coldrain85 I'm also starting to think that the 3080ti might not be worth it either.
I don’t care if it’s even 1% faster - it’s a graphics card that I can hopefully buy by getting in first day. in comparison, the 3897 seems to be stuck on 9/21. Also this queue summary is just disappointing - not even a minute on any SKU

I totally understand your situation. I would do the same. I'm fairly close to getting a 3898 as it is, so my decision to pass on the 3080TI is easier... if that's what I end up doing. Hopefully the rumored specs are BS and the TI really is an upgrade over a 3080.
