Can someone confirm something here: did I read this right regarding the Elite Member 24h access before everyone else, only applies for the US?
 
So basically since I'm Canada even though I'm an Elite member I will have to queue with everyone else (for the 3080TI let's say) on the first day and not 24h before?

It applies to all NA not just USA

Ok that's good to know, and hopefully ''US Only'' really means all NA.

I hope so too.  Got an email yesterday for an upcoming non-GPU product and it said "US only".  I'm not bothered as I'm not particularly interested in it, but I hope they don't actually restrict all upcoming products to only the USA.
Edit: By upcoming I mean the Elite 24hr early access.

Jacob confirmed that the Elite Member 24 hour access includes Canada as well.  He did not mention NA, however.

Well that's a relief.  But RIP Europe.  Looks like they'll loose out on the 3080Ti early queue.

Also to those looking to join Elite status... There are 2 product lists... One of the list you only have to buy 1 item.
I bought a power supply on the list since I needed a better one anyway.

I just noticed that they took down the 20 series section along with a majority of the 16 series cards.

Got to make room for the new 30 series Ti line

Well let's hope this week's Camel Day keeps the momentum going!  
 
I will be heading off for my second shot later today. Absent completely crashing in bed afterwards, I should be able to pull together the afternoon queue summary. In the meantime, you have your marching orders...go get your card! 
 
Oh, and as an aside, if the 3080 Ti ever launches...for purposes of EVGA's North American queue, EVGA has stated that the first 24 hours that the "auto-notify" button is lit...only Elite members will be able to register for the queue (read another way, Elite members will get a 24 hour head start on the 3080 Ti queue). It is fairly easy (and free) to secure Elite status (see the EVGA Elite page).  (On behalf of the existing members of the EVGA forums, please don't spam forum posts to get to the requisite 100 posts, rather please actively contribute to the forums or, in the alternative, watch the EVGA Twitch streams to secure sufficient "points" to qualify.)

It has already been...quite bad. As some others have said, I was also worried once I started seeing articles pop up sending the whole world to EVGA saying "go get your 3080ti here". The influx of new forum members and people posting constant double/triple/8x new posts about 3080ti has been...a bit frustrating. 
 
I don't know if everybody had this issue, but I actually had a hard time finding the forum rules. They're not evident in the general discussion section (even though they are there). It seems all old threads (including that one) are hidden unless you actually do a search. It seems like something that should be stickied. I feel like it would be a good time after all that publicity for the mods to broadcast the rules a bit.

Not helpful, enewt.Also not helpful for brendan77 and bradsour to post the same info in not 1 but 3 reddit channels. We are going to be slammed.

The production stops of many of the SKU's is disappointing.  3655 for example.  BTW, the article this morning on videocardz on the new Light Hash Rate (LRH) models is encouraging.  "All cards will feature the same product names and the only way to distinguish LHR from non-LHR chips is by looking at the GPU....With the ‘quiet launch’ of the RTX 30 LHR series, the supply of Ampere GPUs is expected to improve. "
 
It remains to be seen whether it will actually do anything to help.

Has anyone seen any new info on the 3080ti release date? It looks like I may only be a few weeks out on the queue for my 3080...wondering if I should wait for the 3080Ti and hope for a decent queue position.
 
I'm sure lots of people are thinking the same thing.

At this point, I'm less than 12 hours away on the 3897.  If the Ti is released before I get my card, I'll still sign up for that queue as well...but I won't cancel my 3897.  If anything, if I get the 3897 first, I'll just sign up for a step-up.

And that's is why I just laughed when I receive the e-mail about this.  Being an Elite Member does not mean anything since it's way too easy to be one.

I was an ____________ Architect for Company X.  They decided to "align their job titles with industry standards".  Basically taking everyone who was position XYZ and adding "Architect" to their title.  Now everyone is an architect apparently, and my once "decent" title is now meaningless.  Kind of feels like the same thing.  The Elite club that includes everyone. 

Exactly.  Just buying one qualified product and registering it and bam, you're an Elite Member...
 
The 24hr head start for Elite Members queue will most likely be a 6 -7 months or more wait time, since a lot of people will try to become an Elite Member.
