johcamp21 mind if i ask which discord it is?
PM me if you are interested in joining. We have been around since October and are big fans of the EVGA queue. I won't link, and even if I could, probably not the best idea... I seem to have rubbed some people here the wrong way with my "tough love" pep talks and a couple others definitely don't care for me... LOL.

Shogouki Hey, do you keep track of the GTX 1650 queue at all? I don't think I have a snowball's chance in hell of getting any 3000 series cards this year but I'm curious if there's any chance for those.
Sorry, I do not. What you see is what I track (I am not holding anything back for the VIP-tier of my tracking subscription). Best of luck!
There is no queue for the 16 series like the 30 series. I asked Jacob this on twitter and he confirmed it. Your best bet is just grabbing one off a B-stock restock which will happen sometime in the next 2 days.
Oh, I guess I mistook the notify option as an indication that there was a queue for those too. So does that mean that if I do get a notification for those being back in stock I'll need to race to purchase one as it'll be first come first serve? And unfortunately because of my OCD I can't bring myself to use anything used or refurbished unless it was from someone I'm extremely comfortable with.
That is my assumption. I notified for some of the 16/20 series cards as well and its been several months since so I don't even think you'll get to that point.
Oof, that's really not good... 😣

evgaboyd Looks like the 3897 is still going exclusively (well almost) to the step up queue.......thanks EVGA
Just face it, we are never going to get our cards. Unless we somehow get them elsewhere. I'm hoping to get on the 3080ti queue early enough. The 3897 sku is just not going to happened.
The 3080ti is probably the best bet for those waiting for a 3080. I'm hoping to get in the early notify of that too. Only a few months before my coupon expires. Failing to acquire a GPU, I'd spend it on a PSU, but all the high wattage ones are OOS, and I'm leery of any 1000w or lower PSU given the 3080/3090 transient spike problems.
im using a Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 850W 80+ Gold with a OCd 9900k and a EVGA 3090 FTW3 ULTRA,4 SSDs 10 fans a 360mm AIO with no problems. uses a little over 700watts at full load.normal gaming about 550- 600watts+.get a good PSU at least 800 watts you'll be fine.

I have a platinum 750W that will be plenty for a 3080/3080ti. I don't have as many peripherals in my rig so I'm only drawing about 360W at full load with a 160W 980SC. The 3080 maxes out at 400W, so while it is a big increase in wattage over my old ass 980SC, I'm still good. Under normal conditions my rig will be running at about 550W most of the time when I eventually get a 3898 or 3080ti, whichever comes first. I'm about 160 seconds away from a 3898 which translates to August if the frequency of drops for that card stays about the same. Once a month, in other words.

I don't think it's simply .01%, or 1% for some items. I think this is what happens. People who get in the first initial day VERY early, they probably don't report back if they didn't know about this thread at all. Why would you seek it out? What happens more, imo, is that people who have been sitting around for a few (or more) months start to get a little curious after never getting an email. This is why you see people pop in and ask how long they might still have to wait, or say this is a scam, or whatever people might say. Others might go back and read 10-20-all of the posts, and get an idea about the wait. Then you have the lurkers that probably read forum posts further back a lot, but never say anything until they drop out or land their card. Having seen a lot of this, I think the people who track this thread is at least 1% (higher on reddit + this thread), and also appreciably higher for certain high end items you cannot find elsewhere (except on Ebay or the like). I also think it's at least around 1% for the 3060 57 model. It's nowhere near 100% for any item, but it's higher than it seems. And suck it migraines, I can see a screen again without feeling I need to vomit.

As far as the associates code use drop off, it's possibly an indicator of the drop off of sales. I think more than anything it's the obvious drop off in reported back items. Some queues have been moving, but it's not been wildly moving. If Enewt wanted to share his numbers, that would be a solid indicator. He will not, because he doesn't stress that other than thanking people for using his when they do. I have an associates number, but I only have it because I wanted a KPE. Would I potentially share my code elsewhere to friends and such? Sure, but it is secondary. As long as people utilize the discount, that's awesome. No need to post it every time someone reports, but it's a good thing.

I really like what you've said here over the last few posts (only responded to the last comment). The associate code should be a thank you for helping, which is why I do not expect anyone here to use my code, unless one of my comments helped them (not likely LOL). Enewt then becomes the obvious choice. My original thought was, it might be incorrect to guess "no one is using my code, thus cards aren't moving". We are basing a lot of guesses here on the forum reports and the spreadsheet, my point was code use would only be a valid indicator if we knew enewt's balance/distribution. If I was enewt, I wouldn't share that information, because people will look at it in a vacuum and jealously complain. I basically paid for my KingPin with associate's code bucks. I promote my code in the appropriate place and always say "you don't have to use my code, but at least use a code". A reminder here and there doesn't hurt, I know of at least a dozen people that were so excited to get an EVGA email, they completely forgot to use a code. Also, EVGA checkout is a little buggy, and codes might take 2-3 times to apply, some people give up and say screw it. That being said, campaigning for associate code use, being aggressive about it, and generally being a jerk just to be a jerk isn't helpful, and thus I am not surprised some codes don't get used. As for the percentage of people who report back, add their names to the spreadsheets, etc, those are all variables in the equation that we don't know. The "last notified" dates have been extremely helpful, so even though the sample size of who reports here is small (someone suggested .01%), it is big enough to be helpful/indicative of the larger population. If it is not, then most, if not all, analysis of the spreadsheet is completely useless, since a "too small" sample size basically doesnt provide enough meat to truly represent the real picture. These are the things I wonder and then put out there in the forum to stir up discussion beyond the same old gripes, which might not be the best thing I am realizing LOL.

For the past two days, shuffle shows a preview with a countdown to the actual start time (I usually check on the phone, this may have already been the case on the pc).
Lots of combos again today with water cooled (hybrid and blocked) 3080 and 3090. Though dare I say the combos are a little bit more palatable than yesterday.

Shuffle is blatantly exploiting the shortage. I would love to see people boycott NE, but it would do no good, the demand is high enough $1500 3070 bundles will fly off the shelves still. I remember only 4-5 months ago, the $625 ASUS Strix 3070 was "insanely priced" and "definitely not worth it". This sort of nonsense from NE is why I continue to defend EVGA and also Best Buy (to a lesser extent).

I wanted a 3070, but 600+ seemed like it was still a tad too much and was going to wait... From ~620€ for the bottom end models... Ok. Then to 650.. 700... 800... 1000... Now sitting at 1200-1300 from non-retailers(forums, cheaper than retail).. I guess I ****ed up on the "insanely priced" cards :(

Shuffle prices barely becomes tolerable for 3090, and to an extent 3080 cards. I don’t even check their 3070 pricing knowing full well it will be beyond this realm.
I can never get a BB drop, nor the rumored nightly Amazon drops. We all would have liked the queue to be moving faster, but it is what it is.

Best Buy drops late morning EST about every 2-3 weeks. I was able to score a FE 3080 the other day from there. They are "due" for another drop end of this week or maybe the next, since they had a mini-drop mid-April (mine was from April 2 drop). Have your BB app ready, dont try to do anything cute with rewards, and also be flexible on pickup location. I personally had to switch my location to one 40 mins away to get the FE pickup.

We had no way of knowing... I actually had $650 3070 buyer remorse in late October. It was highway robbery by today's standards. I sold it locally unopened when I got my 3080, and the first guy who "wanted" it refused to pay a dime over $600, which would mean I took a $50 loss. I wish I still had his info :D

Thanks for the advice. My problem is the timing of drop times. Those times are usually my busiest hours when I have recurring meetings weekly review meetings. So by the time I learn of a drop, it becomes already too late. One of these days I’ll get lucky.

Yeah the 2 drops I got at BB was when I was on PTO and the April 2nd one I was waiting for an ultrasound lol. I usually am on meetings or headed to lunch when they drop.

How do the notifies work on the BB app? I see there's a section to view your notifications, but all I could achieve was to save items to my save list.

Have your BB app ready, dont try to do anything cute with rewards, and also be flexible on pickup location. I personally had to switch my location to one 40 mins away to get the FE pickup.
How do the notifies work on the BB app? I see there's a section to view your notifications, but all I could achieve was to save items to my save list.
You won't get notifications afaik from BB, you just have to linger. I use the saved items to build a list of what I am interested in. Once they go to "Add to Cart", click and wait will say "Waiting for more Inventory" or something, dont have to F5... Wait for it to turn yellow again and then cross your fingers it adds to cart. You can do this "waiting" on multiple items if you got your saved items populated. Good luck. It truly helps to be near a big city or a place with a lot of Best Buys, they only ship right to store now for the cards.

daramonyn I need 3090 :(
me too... but also a 3070 in enaugh XD
I'll take just about anything faster than my struggling RTX 2060. AC Valhalla sucks when you can only get 25fps at 1440p. And I'm probably still lucky there. So I guess I shouldn't complain a lot...

This really helps. Thanks
