ramcharger89 I'm 34 mins. out for a (3895) 3080 FTW Gaming a week to 10 days out I hope.
I think that 3895 was the very first one reported to this thread since release (about 205 days, give or take). Were there more than the one that I didn't notice? I'm in the queue for the 3895, but I'm like 24 hours later. So I'm expecting I'll have a better chance at the 4895. ;)

I am just patiently waiting for my to be $2100-2200 GPU to be announced/released for queue, so that I can build my first water-cooling loop(s)(I am planning dual loops to separate GPU and CPU due to GPU pulling up to or more then 500w and the CPU being known to run hot overall due to how its designed, aka Ryzen 5800x) so not nervous about my first loop(s) involving several thousand in hardware

flak8s Thanks for the info. I still think botters would game this. Elite membership is easy to get. Buy the cheapest item and they have an account. We could easily have 1 to 10 mil accounts going after 10,000 cards at launch. And I don't believe this crypto non-sense would go away for the next decade (we've had it since 2016). So we should still build this elite-of-elite system. Multiple options: 1. Oldest EVGA grandpa-account goes first (hehe, seniors first) or 2. a member with the most amount of posts on this forum should go first.
IDK if this is the way to go but I have 50 registered products dating back to 11/12/2011. I wouldn't mind a line bump as I was not afforded that sweet spin of the elite rewards wheel :( lol

I am in the same boat, I applied to the notification for the 3989 last week... I never water cooled before, and of course I pick the system with a Ryzen TR 3950x and 128 Gb of ram (and hopefully a 3090) as my first go. I am still nervous as well, I am a machinist / tool maker apprentice, so I know how to tear machines down and rebuild them, this gives me a bit more comfort being mechanically inclined. I am going to try and make my system as "leak proof" as possible with 3D printed parts, but, as I am a human I know I can easily mess it up!

I am sure this has been asked, I am sure this has been asked in this thread, but this thread is a very long dumpster fire with only @enewt spreading the good word it feels like along with some people thanking him and other people at times bringing quality jokes.
If you have the evga elite spin code, can you use it at checkout of a card from the queue? I got one of the 20% discounts and I am 3 minutes off a 3080 hybrid... So in the next 90 days before it expires maybe I can use it... if the code can be used. Tim

Just get a pressure gauge to leak test your system. If everything is hooked up correctly, the pressure should be maintained and not drop. Fortunately we live in the future where Watercooling enthusiast don't have to run their system for hours on end to find a leak. pezui I am sure this has been asked, I am sure this has been asked in this thread, but this thread is a very long dumpster fire with only @enewt spreading the good word it feels like along with some people thanking him and other people at times bringing quality jokes.

That looks so cool! Yeah, when those layers delaminate the whole part can just rip apart from that line. I have actually printed a water sprayer for the CNC at my job. Works like a charm, then again low pressure lol. Indeed, I normally jack up the wall thickness (5 layer thick), and infill at 50%. The idea is rather to make something that seals and encapsulates around the intake and exit points of the GPU and CPU using rubber pads as the interface between the part and the blocks (epoxy would damage the blocks). This will funnel the water into a channel away from the parts into an empty basin if a leak would develop. I figure the lack of pressure would keep me in the clear of the anti leak basin leaking.

The question is how do the stores on amazon or amazon manage to sell GPUs and companies like EVGA do not.

The simple answer is that EVGA is selling GPUs, just not directly to consumers as much as they are selling directly to their business partners, like Amazon, whom they've probably signed a contractual obligation with. So they are obligated to send stock to Amazon, BestBuy, etc as they are on contract and those companies have already agreed to purchase X amount of units. They take priority.

I believe you have one chance to spin when you first activate your “eliteness”, if you opt out, nothing, if you spin, perhaps a chance of getting a discount and a slight chance of using it if your queue item is called up within those 90 days.

How long does the “eliteness” (how long is a piece of string?) link last while its not clicked/if you just ignore it for a bit tba if I got a spin and got a discount I'd pass it on if possible if the 90 day was running out. Better that someone would benefit.

The users themselves decide if they’re worthy of eliteness and they chose whether to activate it or not. When one activates their eliteness, there’s no turning back on wheel spin or not. Whatever one gets from the wheel spin is not transferable as far as I know. If one was the master strategist and activated their eliteness just on the right moment to get a discount code within the 90 day of their invitation to purchase it would be great but then it would put them way behind on elite only queues and 24-hour elite exclusive access to new product queue(s), so if one strikes that balance just right, they might be have a bright future in financial analysis and as a financial adviser.. 😂
