I've only had it in my system about an hour but this thing is amazing. 52C all core load temp in R20. Boosting to 4950-5050MHz single core load, crazy awesome thus far.

What cpu cooler are you running?

EK Velocity Plexi/Nickel/Copper CPU Block, EK 480mm (60mm thick) radiator & a pump/res combo that's a D5 Pump I believe... capable of supposedly dissipating 947W of heat that radiator is.  Very much looking forward to getting a HydroCopper-ed card in the loop.

What cpu cooler are you running?

He has custom open loop cooling, iirc he had some rgb issues on the cpu block, but idk if he ever fixed it finally or not lol
Btw Dabadger, what flow sensor are you using or did you not use it? 🤔 I should get my top loop finished soon once I get the pump and res in the mail along with some parts for making a drain for it
Edit- I decided to do separate loops for gpu and cpu/vrm 😆🤣

Funny story in reference to the RGB stupidity - the CPU Block lighting did end up working with the EK Connect Loop controller, but, out of curiosity, when I got this motherboard, I plugged the CPU block directly in to the motherboard header when I first set it up, just to see if it works with this board... and lo & behold, it does.  For now I'm still running it off the controller because I actually like the EK controller.  You don't have to run the software for the lighting to work, and it remembers the last set profile on SYSTEM BOOT (not Windows), so you don't have to actually run the software, at all, if you don't want to.
 
 
So Hydros are potentially coming to us this Friday eh?  Hope that means blocks too, though if I have to, I'll dumb all my eVGA Bucks in to a Kingpin HydroCopper, then seek someone looking to SLi but unable to get ahold of another Kingpin, and sell them mine - making sure they understand they're getting a card that sounds like it has a tiny underwater-air-compressor for a pump now.
 
I'm still so irritated that happened to my card, it worked completely perfectly & ran silently for months, then randomly during the system swap it develops this obnoxious pump noise outta nowhere.  Very sad.  I'd RMA it if I wasn't planning to put a HC block on it anyway - and I'm not one to complain about noise, normally, so it's pretty bad.

IIRC, Jacob mentioned on stream this morning that KINGPIN HC would probably drop this Friday, but it will be Elite Exclusive for 24 hours. Not sure if that means it'll be available Thursday for Elite members.

Compare your timestamp against the summary to get a sense as to how far away you are from the front of the applicable queue(s).  If you haven't already, I would consider registering for all of the cards that you would consider purchasing...you don't know which queue is going to reach you first.

As of right now, it appears that the 3987 is moving the quickest. That one is hitting days per drop.

3080 FTW3 Gaming. 9/22/20 11am. Still waiting.

Are they not manufacturing any of the Black cards? I've been queued since 9/17/2020... It's been 7 months...

Most of the chips are going towards the higher end cards, so they don't toss a lot towards the Black line on the queue.  It's my own earliest queue, but I'm thinking that my later ones will be the one popping before it (and as far as I've seen on the spreadsheet, there's thousands of people queued on the black 3070, compared to several hundred, though there is always an understanding that not everyone signed up on the sheet or has reported back to this thread either).  Ah well, it's more time to work on my stories.
 
Speaking of my stories, I have one that's almost ready for my blog.  Would anyone want to read my original superhero fiction?  I'd be happy to link it if so.
