Hi Jacob. Can we have some info about the future of EU queue, in the next months is there going to be some investment to increase the number of cards? Or are they going to be less? None at all?
We just need the hard truth. A lot of people are just a few minutes/hours from the last notifies and keep waiting for something that probably is not coming any time soon. It's a stressfull situation that you can see growing on all the EU threads and this silence from EVGA in not helping.

Also what happens to old que when new LHR cards arrive?
Do I have to restart my que or can I opt in that LHR version is OK for me?

The queue sheet we have here contains only active forum members, I suppose (maybe I read that somewhere on Twitter or so?) that there were hundreds of cards already sent, I am not sure if Evga will release this information, but I suppose that many many cards were sent.

We can pretend to think that this is the case however  the older queues (3080/3070, etc ) show a different, sad reality.

It's not just that, there seems to be a serious lack of supply to the EU for certain models.
In all this time since the release I have not seen a single HYDRO COPPER GAMING (FTW3/XC3) of the 3080 non Ti.
Such a tease, when you want to have a proper AIB WB card in your PC.

As someone stated before, this EU queue is nothing but PR move, but it seems it will have opposite effect in the long term.

The worst part is that no EVGA employee comes up and explain the situation, probably they don't have anything good to say to us (EU) so better avoid us.

Re: EVGA_JacobF can we have some info on EU queue situation? 2021/06/13 07:41:04 (permalink)
Somebody asked me to copy my reply from into this one, so here we go.

From my perspective clear communication from EVGA would definetly help in this situation to make us the customer happier and renew some of my trust in EVGA.

If they have a higher priority for US market and EU retailers then their "EU Elite" members please tell us so. Just having us stuck in the loop of not knowing if and when will we can get a GPU because I signed up very early and that community sheet shows me on place X is not a satisfying customer experience.

Few days ago I decided to buy an little overpriced complete build from a local retailer because I doubt I will get my hands on an EVGA card through this Elite programm. There are probably are lot more people here stuck in the same situation...

I am grateful that EVGA seems to be the only company that is at least trying to give EU customers a chance to get a good product for near MSRP prices.
But from what I see here and the feeling I get is that they are not really trying but more or less trying to get some good PR with this action. "Look we offer our valuable EU customers a chance to get an GPU through our Elite member programm"-  but are you really trying?

Recent experiences from the 3080 / 3090 releases make this hole queue programm look like an PR gag from my perspective.
At the end of the day we do not know have all information to evalute this situation fairly for everyone in the queue there could be 10/20/100 people not spending their time to enter their information into the community spreadsheet and getting GPUs...

Nevertheless clear communication from EVGA for example that we will not see any cards until end of this year for the european marekt or an honest estimated time would make me at least a little bit happier.

I can bet with you the answer received will be we are constantly sending to our EU customers. I've seen it before, it will happen again.  And to reply to one of our colleague who was stating that: "The queue sheet we have here contains only active forum members, I suppose (maybe I read that somewhere on Twitter or so?) that there were hundreds of cards already sent, I am not sure if Evga will release this information, but I suppose that many many cards were sent." - and you believe this mate? I need to refer once again to the 3060  que. I am an active forum member with the timestamp at one minute. Meanwhile US reached for the same card the second day. You're telling me that US got and had a less condensed que in 24 hours than EU in one (Deleted).. minute? Does anyone actually believes that?
You can extrapolate this to all other SKU's, including the most recent 3080TI's and 3070 TI's.

Of course, but no other manufacturer has a direct shop for EU. Complaining about EVGA is fruitless, you may as well give up PC gaming. All brands are a rip off at retail, it is not like we can cry and declare we will buy another card screw EVGA.

I am elite member, I registered for 3080ti lunch and was happy at least some was selling at msrp prices.
And than I started to reserch a bit and saw what a scam EU notification queue is. Worst than not including EU at all.
According to some, less than 100 cards for EU and more than 13K for NA since 3080 launch.
At that point I was happy that only thing I ever bought from EVGA is 5 years old cheap PSU.
I am never again buying anything from them. And when friends/family ask for help buying PC I will make sure EVGA doesn't get their money either.
Hell, at this point I would rather pay scalper than give 1EUR to EVGA.

@EU buyers, lets stop wasting time with company that doesn't care about us.
Prices will come down at some point and at that time remember:
    EVGA NEVER AGAIN.

I kinda agree. I'm gonna buy a card at an acceptable price and it won't matter if it's EVGA or not - no loyalty from me.

If retail prices were let's say 1,2~1,5x times the msrp, then it wouldn't really matter as much.
But as it stands now, nobody wants to buy at retail and pay the scalper prices of 3x the msrp.
EVGA says, they will sell for EU customers, but in reallity the allocated amount is absurdly disproportionate.

That is the only reason this thread exists and the only reason people are angry about the current situation.
It does not matter if other manufacturers are doing the same. This is the EVGA forum and here we discuss and complain about EVGA not some other manufacturers.

And you suggesting for people to just buy at retail for 3xMSRP is just ... well ... tactless.

This is ok for them and gives them no reason to change EU strategy. Unless they start losing EU customers they will keep  treating eu like

After all returns to normal, EVGA needs to see their market share drop 10% in EU. Thats how we make them hurt and they might reconsider pulling this crap next time there is a shortage.

So dont buy their GPUs, motherboards, PSU or whatever other stuff they sell.
Hell, dont even take a promotional mouse pad with their logo from local PC shop.

Do you think that we are going to get the 3060 ti LHR on EVGA this year or next year or is it even coming out? And will EVGA have it? And why all this secrecy around release dates and stocks? These are just gpus it is not like people will get injured if they know the release date or stock availability numbers or is that an actual real threat and issue?

EVGA Should just be more transparent about the whole thing. There's probably people holding out waiting for a queue to bless them, thinking "It can't be that long now" that in the meantime have no GPU at all. If there's no hope for EU, at least have the decency to let us know.
I'd rather pay scalper prices at retail NOW, than wait a year for EVGA queue with no GPU, and still have to pay scalper prices in the end. At least you're not waiting for a miracle forever. It's a matter of common decency for people stuck in that situation.

Not directly related to EU queue but queue per se and I'd suggest to EVGA to set up queue system for distributors and retailers too. Because it's very heartbreaking to see these kind of pictures on eBay only 1-2 days after launch and where min. selling quantities are whole pallets (and of course with price of 3x MSRP per piece). Business is business from EVGA side but making happy face by saying we care about end users or so called gamers is cynical in these kind of situations.

I signed for 3060 3060ti 3070 3080 3080ti as soon as I could, like maybe 2 hours after you could click notify button.
We have June now, still no gpu
Luckily I managed to buy one 3080 of amazon, but didn't use use it for a second as kids saw it being delivered.
So I am stuck with my 1080ti what it looks like forever
Waste of time with notify system
Also I don't mind paying few quid over msrp but 1000e is bit too much

the queue cost nothing to enter and in the mean time nothing stops you from trying any other way to get yourself a card. I cant see the hate for evga regardless if your not seeing the amount of cards sent to Europe you expected or not.

No hate here, had 5 evga gpus 3 psu's. None of them ever failed.just situation is what it is.
I just won't pay scalper price, especially since the company I buy it from doesn't make dime from it.
Just disappointed by the reality, that's all.
