Hello! This is my first post here, and also my first EVGA motherboard.
So there has been some confusion as to how to install and secure the included WiFi/Bluetooth card. I thought I'd make a guide for how I did it, as it's not really covered in the manual. Sorry for the low quality pictures, but they'll get the job done.
1) Place the adhesive plastic "washer" on the bottom of the board as shown:
2) Insert the Wifi-Card as shown:
3) Insert the mount into the appropriate slot. With the larger screw and nut, fasten the mount reasonably firmly. I decided to use the screw head on the bottom of the board, but either will work fine. My end result looks like this:
5) Secure the wifi card to the mount with the smaller screw
6) On to the antennas and wires: Take the wires and attach the small ends to the two terminals on the top right of the WiFi card. They should click in nicely into place without much force applied if the angle is right. Remove the red cap, the nut and washer from the other end and leave them hanging there.
If you have other things to install on the motherboard before mounting it into the case, like cooler mounts or an m.2 SSD, now is the time to do so.
7) Next, we'll mount the motherboard into the case. But first, we need to remove the plates blocking the holes for the WiFi antennas. You need to break them off, bending them isn't enough here.
8) With the motherboard secured in place, it's time to mount the antennas to the backplate. Place the connector through its hole completely. Add the washer, then the nut. Fingertighten and repeat. Once both are "tight" they need to be tightened further to be able to hold the antennas securely. If not, the nut'll loosen up and the antennas swing down. Don't overtighten them though. You can always tighten them further later if needed. Attach the antennas and you're good to go!
