Hi, I'm new to the boards. I can confirm for me that VT isn't working, it's turned on though. I'm not downgrading or doing anything until I hear back from Jacob or someone from EVGA. Everything else is fine for me though.

Well, I also have another bug to report. Seems if you have Turbo Performance Disabled and you have CxE set to either Auto or Cx whatever, Turbo Performance still kicks in. Real pita. I can't run any Cx settings unless I turn up my vcore and vtt which I don't want the heat.

This BIOS seems to be great so far. My OC voltages stayed the same. And it's cool that they fixed the double dump with VT enabled. It never bothered me, but it does makes me feel better for some unknown reason. And, I'm sure this was mentioned, I didn't bother to read through the whole thread but, This BIOS is labeled as 49 but on my screen is says 50. I'm sure it means nothing, I was just curious as to why. Typo I guess?

Simply go back into bios and reassign the boot drive to boot first.

I could also confirm VT is broken w/ this release. Same with S3. Its changing memory latencies on wake. (see attached) What I have noticed is, even with Turbo Performance Disabled I still see my 22x multi with my i7-920. I am not complaining since its a nice boost, and my preivous OC worked flawlessly. I have not attempted to even turn Turbo Performance on actually. Just my 2 cents.. Cc_

I upgraded from SZ2R on my vanilla x58 board... was there a change to CPU Vtt? I couldn't get back to stable 3.8GHz overclock without dropping the Vtt down. The voltage monitor shows Vtt 0.1V higher than it is set... I know probably not accurate, but I don't remember it being this way. Thanks for any insight...

Really wish this S3 sleep would work. I used it a ton on my old rig. Mine just hangs for like 2 minutes then finally responds. Takes less time to just reboot. Really really anoyying. I also have the issue of the CAS raising after resume from S3 Should be 6.6.6.15 manual set, not XMP. please see attached image. Not cool, mean i have no choice but to shut down and or reboot. Please fix! thanks!

Hopefully your friend's burn will work for you. I've had a couple of ISO downloads lately that DLD'd and burned fine without errors, but only sort of worked. Turned out to be bad downloads. Correct byte counts but corrupted data. It would sure be helpful if EVGA would post checksums for their downloads. Particularly when flashing a BIOS one doesn't want to launch a broken executable. Just my $0.02, Z.

With 44 and 49 with or without turbo performance enabled, cpu kicks to 22x when cxe is enabled.

You're missing what I'm saying. With 1j I ran W3520 at 20x w/Turbo Mode giving me 21x. With C6 enabled multi would drop 16x when idle and back to 20x w/turbo 21x. NP. BCLK at 201 gave me 4210 w/turbo mode. With 44 and 49 with turbo performance turbo mode kicks to 22x whick makes 4400+ when cxe is enabled. This where problem arises. If I disable turbo performance but leave cxe enabled when placed under load multi will jump temporaly to 22x then drop to 21x then as load is dropped multi jumps back up to 22x and stays causing temporary lock or crash because of vcore and or vtt being to low. Increasing voltages can stabilize but also increase heat during load.

the updated intel microcode implements the CXE + single thread turbo multi upping better (works more consistently). How do you choose in this case.

As it stands right now with 44 or 49 I have to disable cxe because system is setup for folding. Load level is not consistant on every core. Using affinity to run multi iterations is where problem kicks. When running at consistant load multi stays at 21x but if load drops on any core then cxe will kick in which kicks core upto 22x instead of dropping multi like cxe should do. This is when turbo performace is disabled and turbo mode enabled.
