I'll check

Appears the answer is No

Contact EVGA CS to Confirm & ---> inquire about getting a BIOS chip with the current Version

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The BIOS chip is easy to change - X299 FTW Manual - page 20

 Removable BIOS Chip The ability to remove and replace the BIOS chip without requiring special tools is a key feature on many of our boards, by adding a level of protection against BIOS failures, bad BIOS flashes, BIOS corruption, etc. This feature also allows EVGA to work with end-users if something happens to render the BIOS chip unusable or a BIOS update is needed for CPU compatibility; rather than replacing the whole board, Customer Support can send a pre-flashed BIOS chip to get you up and running without requiring the end-user to send in the motherboard. Please see the walk through on Page 132 for further information.

The Z390 FTW and Dark mobos have that feature, and it's like what ASUS calls 'USB BIOS Flashback' and has on many of their boards..I think those are the only 2 EVGA boards that have it, but don't quote me on that.

* Corsair Obsidian 450D Mid-Tower - Airflow Edition * ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC) * Intel i7-8700K @ 5.0 GHz * 16GB G.SKILL Trident Z 4133MHz * Sabrent Rocket 1TB M.2 SSD * WD Black 500 GB HDD * Seasonic M12 II 750W * Corsair H115i Elite Capellix 280mm * EVGA GTX 760 SC * Win7 Home/Win10 Home *

Not needed.

The new CPUs from Intel will POST to BIOS, but you'll need to update the BIOS from that point to boot into Windows with the new 10000 Series processors.  Just update to the latest BIOS from that point.

Yeah you need the BIOS that was released I think Oct '19 or later before it works.  I got my X299 FTW in Oct '19 and had to have a flashed chip sent to me while I was waiting for a 10920x

If you have the motherboard registered with EVGA, they will send you a updated bios chip.
