EVGA knows about this design flaw and literally couldnt care less.

Please contact our support team for a warranty replacement. there may have been a small batch that have some issues from the factory and I'm currently looking into it

 

My just broke :-( after 10 months of use. I called them and they gave me a rma number, but I don't understand why I have to pay for shipping to them if it's under warranty? It should be covered by warranties just like all other companies do. Very disappointed with your approach to the matter, especially since this is a general problem with this product. You should take it out of production as you know there's a problem with it and exchanged at no extra cost to the customer it's called lemon. 

The hell is wrong with this cheap mouse wheel crap in MMO mice? My stupid old microsoft mouse worked for years and years but I replaced it because it got disgusting and plastic was totally worn out but all sensors, buttons and wheel are working like champs! I have 2 corsair scimitar mice in RMA currently, roccat mouse wheel crapped. for wheel encoder crapping out in less than 12 months. Razer mouse wheel was fine but their RMB and LMB suffers from doubleclicking (at least 5 years ago it was when I had their mouse for last time all 3 mice i had from razer had this problem).
 
I was hoping EVGA does not use absolute **** tier encoder like steelseries.
 
My experience summarized: 3 razer mice: all broke in 24 months with RMB LMB or both doubleclicking issue. Steel series mousewheel + RMB/LMB they stopped making mmo mouse. 2x corsair scimitar elite both have scroll wheel encoder acting crazy after 12 months, sometimes when scrolling down it scrolls up then continues down. That means one of the encoder sensors must be crapped out.
 
I have microsoft mouse at work nothing fancy just your regular plain microsoft mouse, that thing is indestructible, i replaced it because it got worn out plastic due to too much hand friction on it. My microsoft keyboard after 15 years still working without any issues. I don't know what they made their hardware with but it seems they are worth every penny.

I won my X17 from the EVGA raffle in July 2022.
Didn't even opened up the mouse until recently, since I "waited" to my actual mouse die and replace with it.
2 weeks ago, that time "finally" came.
I was happy and such with the X17 (expect the sniper button).
2 weeks later, the scroll just died... Nice. now It's like a decent fidget spinner.
Tried to open it and fix it, but now I see I can't fix myself...

So i just got my x17 mouse a little while ago and the mouse already has this feel of a double click like it's loose, when people are sending these back does EVGA actually replace or fix it and say yes this is a problem or am I going to have to pay for shipping a "Totally fine" mouse back and forth, it works but it's so annoying I should have never left logitech I guess.

Hi all! I managed to fix it! You need to connect the broken knot, not with glue, but with an iron plate, but first melt the joint in order to insert this plate there. I had a plate of 1-1.2 mm by 3-4 mm. You can melt the passage using a hot needle. Версия по русски: Всем привет! Мне удалось починить! Вам надо соединить разорваный узел, не с помощью клея, а железной пластинки, но сперва проплавить место соединения, чтобы эту пластинку туда вставить. У меня была пластинка 1-1,2 мм на 3-4 мм.
