I always use aggressive fan profile. When selecting that and hitting ok. It sets itself to custom instead of keeping aggressive. Still seems to be working though and maybe a minor bug.

You know. EVGA needs to get it together and stop confusing people. I notice it says for iCX and others. So is this the new universal version or what? Because they moved 6.0.9 to ACX only. I have neither and been using 6.0.9 If this new version is in fact the universal version now. They should remove the ACX link one would assume?

hmm so this may fix the GPU order not showing correctly? Still backwards for me atm for my two 1080s, but I'll reboot and see if that updates/fixes it

I'm using a 1080 ti in the top slot, a 1080 FTW hybrid in the middle and 1080 FTW at the bottom, but it seems that my hybrid is showiing in the bottom slot, and the ACX one is in the middle on the PXOC display, it might get fixed however after a reboot, I'll update this post once I do that, (folding atm so want to finish these WU before rebooting just in case)

it's possible, that if as the post here says: https://forums.evga.com/Why-is-the-main-GPU-of-my-SLI-setting-GPU2-m1993495.aspx#2394806

it's more or less randomly assigned, you could have gotten lucky, and it randomly assigned them in the correct order.

On a related note I noticed that previously, the the first and second GPU slot switched places when enabling and disabling sli, assuming enabling and disabling SLI does the " NvAPI_EnumPhysicalGPUs()" again, it could be how they kept switching every time I enabled or disabled SLI.

It might be a good idea to add a post over on 1070 FTW LED PROBLEM to keep that Thread Active for the GTX 1070 FTW Users.

Could also be because I delete the VGA Registry Keys or because I replaced some AMD GPUs.

yeah I'm thinking it just re-sorted the GPUs and it got lucky, an update to precision wouldn't correct folding at home afterall, just itself.

Yeah, good point. And you can clearly see I have a FTW 1070 GTX, and you can also see that the LED tabs a re inactive.

I was happy to finally see a new version for ACX owners. I wasn't happy that 6.1.2 didn't address the issue I was reporting. Again, Time Spy crashes with the OSD enabled. With the OSD disabled (  6.1.2 still running) Time Spy runs fine. Fire Strike runs fine with the OSD enabled. DX12 games I have (BF1, ROTTR) run fine with OSD enabled. 3D Mark people tell me it isn't Time SPY, it's the XOC OSD software that is the issue.
Could anyone from EVGA tell me if EVGA has looked at this issue or will look into it, able to reproduce it and if yes is there a fix coming. USE XOC for changing LED, clocks and fans (one software). Don't want to use XOC and then AB as well for OSD.

Additionally, which may have been mentioned above, when I set a custom fan curve with 6.1.2 it works. When I switch to the aggressive fan curve my custom fan curve disappears and/or becomes the aggressive fan curve as well.

This wasn't happening in 6.0.9. Honestly guys, I've experienced nothing but intelligent, caring people with a focus on getting the problems resolved quickly when dealing with EVGA tech support and customer service. What's going on with the development and testing of this XOC software? Are you outsourcing it?

Did you uninstall the 6.0.9 version and delete the Profile Folder on the Drive?
You may also want to delete any Registry Keys to clear out any old 6.0.9 info.

Yes to all. I uninstalled 6.0.9 with Programs and Features, which required a reboot. Then I  deleted the Profile Folder and cleaned the registry. Then I installed 6.1.2. I could tell the uninstall was good as when 6.1.2 installed everything was at default, fans at zero (auto fan control wasn't enabled) and all osd settings were at default. Set the custom fan curve. I even tried a second time this time rebooting again after I set the custom fan curve. Custom fan curve works but when I change it to aggressive the custom curve I set is gone.

Certainly a bug. I kinda mentioned it in post 4. I uninstalled/installed the same way as you to. I still cant get over the fonts being messed with as well once again in Chrome.

Some times when I enable the OSD my screen goes black? Anyone else seeing this? Hitting it again brings me back to the desktop then I have to manually click on the running benchmark to get back in.

Same bug that has been happening for years see

https://forums.evga.com/EVGA-Precision-X-slow-to-load-at-windows-start-up-m2292918.aspx

Basically when precision XOC loads either just the settings or the full software on startup the keyboard is extremely slow to respond only allowing a few typed characters through.  After 10-15 seconds all the keys pressed will show up.  This bug has been going on for years now.

Works great on my ASUS 1060, thank you EVGA! I like the sizing of the clocks, nice and legible.
