when i trz to open precision tells me that it failed to intialize display driver wrapper plz help

Freshly installed system. Problem is that sometimes GPU clock is not updating. It is working fine ingame OSD shows correct clock speed but EVGA Prec is stuck to lik 500 something and don;t update. Closing down and restarting EVGA Prec fix things and clock is updated correctly again.

The latest upgrade is not good! I cannot downgrade my GPU clock rate. Late me give some example: For Battlefield 3 if you didnot downgrade your GPU clock rate you will see some errors ""DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET: Device reset due to a badly formed commant.. GPU: "NVIDIA Geforce GTX 580", Driver: 32049""
I searched  it in EA forum. And the only way to avoid this is to downgrade the GPU rate. And with this upgrade of PRECISION it is impossibel :(

Update to the new beta drivers 331.40, I got that same message on the WHQL driver 327.23

Ok, I have an issue with this v4.2.1.2143 Evga Precision "Glitch" & I don't like it! 
Can anyone tell me if their going through this?

WoW!? nothing on my issue with Evga Precision v4.2.1 even with video I posted?....I guess no one is havin' this issue but me?...
I downgraded back to v3.0.4 always been stable & better readout FPS not like that glitchy v4.2.1

My issue now!?...I don't get this glitch ever since the v4 update from the start, has been a problem

I had very severe issue with this version of EVGA Precision + GTX770 SC/ACX today after updating nVidia drivers to a new version: 331.58, date 21-10-2013. After clean installation of these drivers I rebooted and suddenly EVGA Precision (set to start with windows) applied very odd numbers to core clock and memory clock. Numbers were something like 44755555, anyhow a very high number. Before I could do anything my display went black, then yellow and finally black again. I rebooted my PC again (power off) and I could get into the login screen and even on desktop for a few seconds. And then again black screen. Sigh, I thought, my GPU is toasted. Then I activated iGPU and got into the desktop OK, uninstalled EVGA Precision and rebooted with GTX770. Everything works OK now, GPU is healthy .
 
Any ideas why this happened? Because of clean install of drivers? Earlier I always updated drivers with express installation method without removing older drivers first i.e. without clean installation.
 
PS. Because I had to reboot my PC forcing power off couple of times my 4 year old Samsung 1TB HDD were destroyed during this process. No signs before this incident it was going EOL. Coincident or not I feel this software was anyhow one factor causing the death of my HDD.
 
My PC: Windows 8.0 x64 Pro, Asus Maximus VI Hero, i7-4770K, EVGA GTX770 SC /ACX, couple SDDs, couple HDDs (not anymore!!)
 
UPDATE: I reinstalled EVGA PrecisionX AND Rivatuner Statistics Server and same thing happened as above. Then I uninstalled and cleaned PC from them and installed just PrecisionX WITHOUT Rivatuner part -> no problems now with these drivers and PrecisionX v4.2.1. I'm not 100% sure the culprit was Rivatuner Statistics Server but actually I don't need it at all.
 
AND what else: I could save my data from that Samsung HDD and restore it. Huh, that was a save well received. Anyhow, time to purchase a new HDD to replace that Samsung F3.

If the game(s) you're seeing that flickering in are DX11 games, then go into the Riva Tuner and try selecting "Vector 2D" if not set there already.  See if that helps.

If the game(s) you're seeing that flickering in are DX11 games, then go into the Riva Tuner and try selecting "Vector 2D" if not set there already.  See if that helps.

Sorry I've been busy fighting on BF4 & haven't had the chance to reload the latest back on, but for some reason
Evga Precision X does not show on BF4!!??...No drivers for that yet??? 

Right click on BF4 in Origin, set startup as bf4x86.exe (default is 64bit).  OSD works for me now, game runs and looks the same to me...
