Hi folks! I Recently bought a motherboard of MSI, Model: MSI MEG X299 CREATION.
Will the EVGA SUPERNOVA G3 850W be compatible with the motherboard X299 MSI MEG CREATION? None of the models of EVGA appears in the compatibility list:
Well. In the specs this motherboard specified that it must be connected wiht 3 units of 4+4 (8 pines) EPS for CPU supply. I have a PSU G3 850W, that, like most of the PSUS, have only 2 EPS/CPU connectors. In other models of other companies, the connectors to VGA/PCI are also compatible with the CPU/EPS, and the solution is buying a new (third) cable.
Is that solution possible in the G3 850W ? Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the Forum. Your EVGA SUPERNOVA G3 850W should work just fine with that motherboard. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MEG-X299-CREATION/Overviewhttp://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/E7C06v1.0.zip
You may get away with only using 2 EPS Connectors. Connect power supply to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1. (No other components are necessary but power supply.)https://storage-asset.msi.com/file/test_report/TR7_15283.pdf Power Supplies, MSI must really dislike EVGA.But you will need two to support 3 CPU EPS Connectors. Or get a Server Class Power Supply. Or the Y-Adaptor show below. Not Recommend. You cannot use a PCIe Graphics Cable on the EPS CPU Connector nor an can you use a EPS Cable on a Graphics Card. But this type of Motherboard looks to need a 1000 Watt or even a 1200 Watt Power Supply so an 850 might be to small. AYA 7" 8-Pin EPS-12V Male to Dual 8-Pin EPS-12V Female Y Splitter Cable 18AWG Black It might have been better to create your own Thread on this Subject to get more members to review. EVGA Power Supply Information & FAQ's most members would not even read it.

Will an EVGA SuperNova 1300 G2 be enough power supply to run 2 EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti K|NGP|N GAMING, 11G-P4-2589-KR GPUs? I just recently purchased a EVGA X299 Dark from these very forums, and am considering 2 of these cards to go along with it.

im currently using a BP 610 EVGA psu which only have a single strand of pcie connection (2x 8 pin (6+2) daisy chained) to power my RX 5600xt (150 watts) that requires 2x 8 pin. So my question is, Can i still add another RX 5600xt(150 watts) by using a 2pcs of 8 pin "Y" splitter (so total of 4x PCIE 8 pin (6+2))? my psu have a 50amp for the +12v. thank you in advance.

I have a G3 750w PSU. After turning off the computer, can I turn off the switch of the power strip to which it is connected or not? (Or always unplug from the socket after turning off the PC? Many tell me that you can damage the power supply. Is this true?

Thanks for the reply. I have another problem. By connecting the PC with the PSU G3 750 watt to an 800VA / 480 watt UPS pure sine wave, after turning off the PC, when I turn off the UPS from its own switch, the circuit breaker in the house turns off. Why? What's the problem? With the old 650-watt bronze psu this didn't happen.
