Can understand why graphic cards list a high minimum wattage, as it has to cover the plethora of PSU brands of greatly varying quality.  And is the easiest way to confer requirements without mentioning amps and affects of sustained usage.

I had 2 670 PE's + OC 3570K on a Seasonic X650 and it ran fine.  However, when I put the 670's into a thirstier OC 2700K, the PSU hit its limit and would force restart within a second of loading a benchmark/stresstest.  I don't have confidence that a 500W can power a 690 even at stock voltage.

Sorry about double posting but something is wrong w/ the site for me to where I can't edit or quote people.

If someone is paying $190 + shipping for an ITX case, you can bet your ass they're an enthusiast.  I'd reckon that most of us would want a dual GPU setup... single GPU's aren't good enough for today's games, imo.

Why are people crying over a 500W Gold rated PSU? If you want a 1200W Platinum rated PSU to power a 400W mITX system, this chassis is not for you.

500W is more than enough. Even for a high-end mITX system. Don't believe me? My system peaks ~260W, I have a 360W Gold-rated PSU, even though a 550W is recommended. Suck it up, people.

Nice case.

As for the power supply I think it is more than sufficient....it is a mini ITX case after all.

I Like it, are there any plans for a full size case? Also, what if you just don't need the PSU. Is it a special size to fit the case or something?

What gtx 780 would be better for this case? ACX or non ACX?

Anyone notice this?

EVGA Hadron Hydro:
  • Compatible with many aftermarket CPU air coolers.
  • Compatible with all in one water coolers, (single 120mm radiator) Example: Corsair H80/H60
  • Compatible with many aftermarket DIY water cooling kits. EVGA will sell a certified kit separately.

Hey guys,
I've had the EVGA Hadron Air case since June 2016.
To me, this case is the most beautiful and best sized computer case available. Still, since launch there is no competitor.
One issue though - the PSU fan noice is making people crazy, including me.
Since I love the design of the case, I had to make some modifications to the case, starting by removing the original PSU and replace with a semi-passive Corsair SF450 PSU, in the HDD area. I would be happy to share images, but can't find a way to upload.
Are there any new plans for updating the case?
I would suggest EVGA to remove the PSU and make room for a SF/SFX PSU
Cheers!
