I saw these questions earlier in this thread, but I don't recall if there was an answer determined or not.  Hoping someone can help answer these so I can make a good informed decision on whether I should go with a Hybrid card or regular!

  1. First, how long are the tubes from the video card to the radiator?  (I apologize if this has been answered before)
  2. Second, I'm also trying to fit a Hybrid EVGA card into a Lian Li 011XL and mounting the radiator on the side, hoses down and am wondering if someone has gotten one of the Hybrid cards and tested fitment of it in this case specifically.
Thanks!

I also have this question

There was a question or two about this a few days ago in this thread (I cannot remember which day, but definitely this week).  I will send to each of you the photos my buddy sent me but ask that you not forward them on or share them broadly -- I didn't ask permission to share them or explain why I wanted them and he is now unavailable to check in with.  The context for the photos is that I helped him install the rad into his O11 XL in a push-pull format, hoses down, with the second set of fans behind the "shroud" (with the hornet's nest of wires).  Just give me a minute or two to find the photos again and I will PM them to you both.

I do not have exact measurements of the hoses, but I recall that for the Kingpin's hoses, Jacob said they were 400mm in length.

I have that case and the 3090 kingpin and have the rad at the top It looks like it would be close, for a side mount. And yes the kingpin hoses are 400mm long.

So...I have a 3080 FTW 3 ultra (air) but I just got the hybrid kit and ready to install it. Is there going to be a bios for us that have air cards but converting to the hybrid kit? I dunno if hybrid cards from the factory have different tuning and/or fan/pump profiles?

Thanks!

Also, are there any concluding results on FTW3 Ultra air vs. Hybrid in terms of OC headroom, temperatures, noise, etc? Looks like the hybrid is better but how loud are people running their fans (and is the pump quieter than the 2080 Ti Kingpin)?

I'm surprised it's not listed. I also want to know about kpe ln2 bios on these ftw3 hybrids for more power.

You could check the spreadsheet, most people that signed up in the 1st batch a few weeks ago got buy links and a few lucky from this week got some also.

ok thanks. it seems on average the waiting time  is like 10 days and the cards are slowly going out. that's good and the system works. that is all i needed to know.

The Hydro Copper queue is sure taking its sweet time to come back. Any recent news about it or is the queue delayed until next year?

No ETA for the Hydrocopper.

Jacob via twitter responded ‘not likely’ to a question about whether or not we will have a drop before Christmas.

Looking at January or February of next year.

I’m fairly disappointed, but this is really terrible news for evga. I believe evga missed their opportunity to sell a large amount of Hydrocopper GPUs to those interested (myself included). I would have snagged a 3090 ftw if it dropped right now, but with a possible launch of February and the impending release of the 3080ti, I don’t see the 3090 Hydrocoppers selling well when the 3080ti will perform better with a slight overclock at the 1200usd price point. I myself, among many, will not be buying a 3090 next year.

Then again, we are still in paper launch mode so everything will sell out when released.

I really hate having to play this game of monitoring various websites for instock notifications, or refreshing the EVGA Page etc.  I'd just like to be able to buy the HC version of a 3080 :(  I guess I need to wait until 2021 or something when they are available for purchase without these games.

Yeah I agree.  I'd be ok with them just selling the HC blocks also and being able to stick it on a non HC card.  I think for the first time in a long time, I might have to go a non EVGA card with a non HC block.

While I totally agree that this situation is frustrating, I think the queuing system that EVGA has implemented is far better than what other retailers have done (next to nothing). EVGA is getting their cards to actual end users and not scalpers, unlike other retailers. I am with you here and would like to pick-up a 3080 HC immediately, it's the last component I need to start and finish my build, but unfortunately we all get to wait.

Does anyone know how I’m looking for this 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid if I got the email at 10:16 (16 minutes after official launch) here in Canada.

First time EVGA buyer so not sure how these systems work! Thanks in advance

The fact that the Hydrocopper GPUs were delayed solely due to the waterblock itself needing ‘updating’ may signal that the standalone waterblocks won’t be available for sale until the current batches of Hydrocopper GPUs are sold off.

Also, for myself, I wanted to play cyberpunk with a Hydrocopper this Christmas season. This gamer is sad.

3090 hybrid user here...
not sure whats going on but my card barely gets over 400 watts even with the xoc 500 watt bios...
Weird thing is when i play Warzone i can put +120 on core and i see the card boost all the way to 2100 mhz.
If i do a benchmark like Port Royal and i use same core offset +120 card only boost to 1950-1960

Super confused by it, i thought buying a hyrbid might give me some more OC head room but nopeeeeeeeeee

3080 FTW3 Hybrid came in yesterday, overnight right on time.  I just wanted to personally thank EVGA for their queue system, it's been a complete headache trying to get a 3080 since launch, and without the queue I probably wouldn't have been able to get one.

Excited to test it out with cyberpunk 2077 this weekend.

I'll probably be trying out some different fans on the radiator this weekend, bone stock settings last night got up to 52c max, maintained roughly 50-52c for about a 2 hour session.

I haven't messed with any BIOS changes or even GPU/mem clock changes yet at all. I just flipped the OC switch on. I pulled 445W on an MSI Kombuster benchmark test and I was seeing 420W in gaming fairly frequently (that was before even OC switch). I did move up the power limiter I think.

PCIe slot showed 80w. Never saw above 75w on "normal" switch position however.

Wow something is definitely weird with my card it won't go above 400...even with power limit increased...

What settings you running on kombuster?

Got a 3080 XC3 hybrid and I notice it emits a buzzing noise on startup and it can go away and come back randomly. It seems to be coming from the actual card/shroud itself not the pump or rad fans. I have attached a youtube video with the noise while the PC is idle. Any idea what this could be?

I just got a call from ups asking me to provide them with a enterprise number from the Canadian revenue agency.  Any other Canadian got that?  I'm not an enterprise so I don't have that info.
