Does EVGA not make beta releases available to download? Every time I see a beta mentioned, it's always on a third party site (or dropbox in this case), but when I check the official site, those versions are never listed. 

Separate question... I have VR mark but for some reason it never generates a score...
 
Question is... anyone got a valve index? I'm wondering if I should go for the Index with my 3090... Can I get 144fps on an index no problem with our card?
cause the pimax 5k is higher fov and 144hz..  or 
 
Should I go for the pimax8kx which is 90hz but at 4k... 
 
I have zero knowledge of benchmarking our card in real world VR scenarios but I'd love to see some... I'd like higher frame rates..

Only thoughts are that I hope this rma card I get Friday can draw 500w and get nearly as good of benchmarks as yours my dude.

Hope they ship me a card worthy of the bios 😂

Yes you can use nvflash to put original bios back on

The zip file provided on this thread right?

You can use the correct file on page one of this thread or download the stand alone bios from techpowerup

I am using the correct file from the post,dispay adapter mismatch.Cant revert

Are you disable protection ID before flash? And disabled gpu on mgmt?

I believe the original bios provided in the post is an auto exe?Havent tried with nvflash,cant find the original oc bios.rom.

yea, looks like they share beta releases this way, dropbox etc.

Just something I thought of sharing, since I think it could make a difference in benchmarks and in general how the GPU performs. Anybody else's thoughts on this?
 

Well, I got my 2014 Taiwan 3090 FTW3 ULTRA and did a quick and dirty OC on the stock OC BIOS.
 
Ran a few UNIGINE SUPERPOSITION 1080P Extreme and 4K Optimized benchmarks to ensure a "stable overclock".
 
Some MAX values I saw on GPU-Z:
 
Core Clock: 2295MHz
Memory Clock: 1344MHz
Board Power Draw: 458W
PCIe Slot Power: 80W
All 3x 8pin: 125 - 127W
GPU Temperature: 71 degrees
 
I will be doing a more in-depth OC and benchmarking with 3D Mark (bought it today on Steam on a lovely special) and post actual screenshots.

The bios works. I pull 508-518W on it continuously. 1.1V, 2220mhz/21500mhz. 47 degrees under waterblock. Even made it to top 50 HoF PR with ambient on 27 degrees and no shunts, just this bios and waterblock in a custom loop. It says EVGA in the score even.

Right, I forgot to tell you it is on a Strix 3090...

On topic, the silence from EVGA is sad to see. I got the Strix after returning the EVGA card and never looked back. Though I do check this thread to see if it will ever be resolved from time to time. I feel for you guys still stuck with the card and no answers.

Can you show us a port royal bench and time spy maybe ??

Compare a strix on water agains a ftw3 ultra on air ? On another thread a guy told me i do better with my ftw3 then is Strix wich he sold the day after !
Frame Chaser with is strix shunt mod + waterblock + waterblock on back plate with is Strix score 14771 in Port Royal ! That's far from impress me. I do 14200 with my ftw3 on air with no mod and just with a waterblocki can beat that.
Normal a card on water will score better then a card on air, many come here for throlling you.
All model can perform well, its depend of the silicon lotery and not coz the NAME of the card.
A rtx-3090 is a rtx-3090 thats it.

14824 on air for my 3090 FTW3 Ultra on the XC3 Ultra (not XOC) VBIOS. Really looking forward to getting this under a hybrid kit with some really high static pressure fans that I purchased.
 
It only did 14268 with the stock OC VBIOS or XOC OC VBIOS.

How you flash this bios on ftw3, link me the nvidia flash program and how flash it, thanks.

the command is: nvflash64 -6 name.rom
 
name is whatever the rom is named, and you need the VBIOS in the same folder as the tool. Also, you have to use command prompt in administrative mode. Also, don't be surprised by the fans acting wonky at 100% under 3D load. I don't use it as a daily driver - I use the stock OC VBIOS for that.

Something seems real bugged with this card.

It reports PerfCap as Thermal even though GPU is 58C with a 80% power target set with PX1... also seems like the card is locked 70% power target, even though 80% is set.

I'm getting PerfCap of Power at 400-410W and it still bounces between 400W and 450W. Makes no sense. Power limit is set to 119% as well.
