No, I have the revised board .1 (no one has mentioned a higher revision) from Taiwan and it doesn’t hit 500w
Mine is also from taiwan, wondering which country are Notchys ftws

Welp I think we are on to something. Both cards are from CHINA not Taiwan. My system is a AMD x570 Strix 3900X and my friends system I build for him last night is a MSI Godlike 10900k. Both are using 1200W power supplies and both cards are from china with Rev 0.1
We have a preliminary answer. cards made in china work. mine from taiwain does not and multiple other reports verify this. it's a small sample size but all signs point to faulty manufacturing. doubtful they will allow RMA over this, as "overclocking and results" aren't guaranteed. sad day.
yeah would really like to know. Can you guys check where your boards are made please.
We need a larger sample size, anyone that can answer revision and manufacturing location as well as what your XOC BIOS TDP results are.

so far from memory that's 3 from Taiwan that don't work on rev. .1 and 2 from China that do on rev .1

slovak_killer I saw your post yea do not run that again, open a game and check what the tdp is, where was your card manufactured and if you can, find out the revision number (located near the pcie fingers on the fan side).

Yeah saw that too before it got flagged for approval. Your card is stock? spiking to over 600?!?!?! Iv never seen above 530 on both cards in furmark MSI.

Thats the hard part as your card is working as intended out of the box. This is a non guarantee beta bios. They made it REALLY clear on the first page. EVGA in the past has been REALLY cool with RMA in the past with me so its worth a shot trying. I would recommend calling them.

Guys the XOX 500W bios have a max of 500W but have a default of 420W like the normal bios.
If they put a bios of a default 450W and max 500W then we can really see a difference. The default power is the same as the normal bios 420W only :(

Im avg 500 on benches for over 10 min. in game yes im not getting 500avg unless its quake 2 RTX but in all 3dmark benchmarks im seeing avg 490+ and furmark 500avg. Obviously you need to be overclocked to reach the 500+ watts as well but that should be a given.

That could be silicon lotto in works or the VF Curve not being properly tuned. Lot of factors come into play with clocks per card. From my research EVGA is getting higher scores and clocks when everything is working as intended with power.

I'm Another 450w on the XOC/500w bios, .1 Taiwan. Got the card 1 week ago directly from EVGA.
As side not and have not seen this mentioned a lately, the XC3 bios does seem to run much better on my card than either the stock or XOC.
PR with same memory (+400) and core (+115) : XOC 13600~, XC3 14500~.
Control at the same core off set (+115) goes from in game clock of 1950 XOC (80 fps) --> 2100 XC3 bios (85 fps). Also card seems to be a bit more stable for me. Where I would seem much more crash and odd game glitches on the XOC bios, now running more stable and faster on XC3 bios.
The one down side now being I need to use X1 to properly control the fans, AB is not able to turn fan 3 speed consistently. Often leaving fan 3 at max when I'm trying to set the fan profile back to auto. Also no idea how much total power I am pulling across the card.

An RL friend told me his (China) 3090 FTW3 Ultra isn't seeing anywhere near 500W on beta XOC bios. My (Taiwan Rev .1) 3090 FTW3 Ultra also isn't seeing anywhere near 500W using the beta XOC bios.
I have another RL friend who is about to get a 3090 FTW3 (non-ultra) in a few days. I'll report back with what he says.

I just initiated RMA on the basis that many have cards from the same SKU able to perform at spec, mine cannot therefore it’s defective in the sense that it has physical limitations other cards from same SKU do not. Aside from silicon lottery. Mine was a good card still able to bench 14k port royal easy handle a +135 OC on the core shame to let it go buy it is what it is.

My 3090 FTW3 Ultra appears to be from Taiwan as well (S/N starts with a 2014, as denoted by a previous post in this thread that people aren't reading apparently), and is also limited to about 440W maximum power draw, and usually closer to 420, on the stock OC or XOC VBIOS. (8K, 4K, benchmarks, stress tests, games, etc.)
Someone making a list?
Also, never thought I'd WANT something made in China over somewhere else............
