I confirm Rebar is working thanks EVGA for fast support ...
That is not working great is my FTW3 Ultra, back from the 1000W bios locked to 500W to the XOC bios, then my card is doing 410W AVG and 450Peak max .... I'm under the 2000Mhz most of time with PCI-e peaks @ 80W.
Please someone get the 1000W bios that i could lock to 500W again with bar support ?
Is the remplacement program is available in Europe or only USA ?? I'm thinking to RMA it .... And i'll have not graphic card secondary to save me ....

How did you submit the request ? Did you go via your evga profile or via the email address jacob sent ? From the email address jacob sent I only received info to wait until it is available in EU. I sent an email to 3090oc@evga.com They replied one day later and asked me to provide informations about what programs I use and what the power draw is.

Looks like you also got yourself a dud. Wait for evga's response and see what's happening. But since you are not in the EU anymore, it might become an adventure for you to RMA 😅

Getting your card swapped out in the program would be the trick

I have heard success stories of people running the XC3 BIOS. You don't want to but best bet is to RMA in the program.

Well I was excited to come back to the forum a day later and compliment EVGA for getting Resizeable BAR working, however as a 3090 FTW3 Ultra owner, thats converted it to Hybrid (and modded it with Fuji Poly thermal pads, Kryonaut Extreme, and 4 x Noctua 120mm 3000rpm Fans in Push/Pull) I am once again let down by the fact that it: 1. Doesn't recognize it's been converted to Hybrid with an official EVGA Hybrid kit. 2. Doesn't show me my pump speed - im just supposed to take your word that its running at full speed, at all times. (How would I know if it goes out??) 3. Has failed twice at auto-overclocking on 500watt bios (which ive been running since November) and literally forced an auto-reboot. My temps are amazing now that I fixed the thermal pad quality issue, but once again im really let down by PrecisionX :( Reinstalling Afterburner now to get my card working properly. (MSI Software... lol)

Pretty sure, the xc3 Bios simply reads the sensors differently. Otherwise there wouldn't be a hardware revision of the card.

I'm currently using the XC3 bios and I personally believe its the best solution. I know its giving me over 500w of power and I've had 0 issues out of it.

That issue has been up since Oktober...It‘s plain infuriating and a huge letdown imo. not going to leave the card in if its likely to kill itself in a few weeks anyway.

For the US the hardware revision was announced 1 or two weeks ago, Europe started this week. It's totally up to you, if you want to keep the card like that🤷🏼♂️

Hi I have a question :is the vbios for the Resizable Bar a modification(change of the nominal bios of the graphic card by the bios called "v bios") of the nominal bios or vbios and nominal bios of the graphic card are two different things ? I have a kit on its way, so I'm trying to be prepared for it. Already purchased some new thermal pads for the backplate in case these need replacing when I take it off. I want to make sure though that I have the correct bios installed - I am currently using the 500watt XOC bios that came installed on the card from EVGA. My understanding is that these new 3090's require different bios versions because of the power balancing changes - is there a specific one that I need to use when I get my hybrid, or will Precision X1 detect that I'm using it and auto-update it?
I emailed EVGA about this, but I thought I would check here since I'd imagine others have installed the hybrid cooler on their new fixed GPUs since getting them RMA'd by this point.

You can keep the same bios, its not going to hurt anything. Once you have it installed, download the 500w FTW3 3090 hybrid bios. Thats what I was running for a little while until I found out the XC3 hybrid bios works better.

Ah, we’ll in that case I don’t think you can answer my question yet. I need to know what bios to use for the hybrid kit on the NEW 3090 cards. It comes with a different bios than the previous cards (based on my understanding).
Anyone with cards that they got specifically through the special RMA program that have installed hybrid kits able to chime in?

These are direct links to the bios+loader utility. From late March, so I think the re-bar bios, FTW3 XOC 3090 500W.

Same boat here except I have my new rma card without the hybrid kit installed back on yet. Is it confirmed that the bios on the rma cards that had power issues is different than the standard 500w bios?
